I was checking out Cranberry Fest this weekend, and we stopped in for a beer at this cutely themed and looking place. They had a young man on the mic with a guitar and the sun was shining. Got me a Wisconsin staple Spotted Cow and the wife got a sour that was a berry. Wiscoberry?? I don't remember. Nice place to chill and listen to music. I did not have any food, and the service was friendly and attentive. They do have pizza and an open concept type bar area. Plenty of seating and some nice Adirondack chairs to sit in. We stopped here for lunch yesterday while on a day trip. Oh my goodness...what an experience!!! Amazingly friendly staff, massive selection of beers, and delicious pizza!!! My daughter doesn't usually care for beer but fell in love with the strawberry mango lemonade sour! I had the blueberry tart sour beer; it reminded me of sour patch kids! Soooo good! I also had the elderberry sour which was equally delicious. The pizza was reminiscent of a Detroit style, with a nice crisp bottom and light airy crust. The sausage was juicy, and the amount of cheese was perfect!!! If I'm ever in Eagle River again this is definitely going to be a stop!!! read more

Visiting Eagle River from out of state. Stumbled upon this place nestled in a very cool and quaint downtown area. Great outdoor/patio area. Good beer selection. Pull tabs available. A cool merchandise area. Live music playing. Staff was friendly and attentive. We were here in the fall when the temps were a little chilly but they had outdoor heaters going and it was comfortable. I'm sure this place would be amazing in the summer time. read more

Awesome indoor/outdoor spot to watch a Badger game! The pontoon theme is perfect for the area (peep the art in the bathroom). For food, a few grilled items were available, which was fine for our needs. From what I can tell, this place opened in early May of 2024. We stopped in mid afternoon on what was probably the busiest day - July 5. It was super crowded. There were not enough tables/seats and the lines for beer were long and slow. At one point, we almost left as we stood in line for about 20 minutes to get a beer. We stayed only because one person in our group was able to snag a table. They do have some interesting beers, a lot of local craft beers, including a gluten free choice. They also have the old northern Wisconsin standby selection (PBR, Leini's) and some wine and seltzers. The bar itself is in a "garage" where all the doors open and it felt like we were outside. There were a limited amount of tables "inside". The real outside had a lot of picnic tables and smaller tables. They also have an old pontoon converted to seating area. Oh, and you can bring Fido if you want. Because of the crowds, it had a definite spring break feel, although there were lots of kids present, as well. Give it a try. I would have rated it higher had we not had to wait so long. read more

Andy's seems to have quickly gained a following in Eagle River. They have a very cool layout, largely an outdoor bar but with garage doors to close it off. They have a good number of craft beers (selfishly I wish they had more hazy IPAs than they've had the times I've been there) with something from almost every style. They focus on local brewers as well. They've got a full bar and started offering wine (well, Barefoot). Their servers are very friendly and manage the bar well with a combination of a walk up line for the folks sitting further off and a bar service for those at the stools. They offer pizza (which we haven't tried) and sometimes have food trucks outside. One of the more popular spots in downtown Eagle River and it seems justified. read more

Cool place right in the center of Eagle River! Went just for drinks and to listen to live music. Very chill vibe - we sat in the Adirondack chairs but there were many picnic tables to hold groups. Fun setting. A cool place to hang and fun for the kids. They had fun table top games too, but you definitely needed them. Took 40 minutes for two pizzas and a pretzel to come out. And the appetizer came out after the pizza. Was also pretty expensive for what you get. The pizza was honestly on par with Little Caesar's deep dish. But I really like Little Caesar's deep dish. Just not for $25! I won't say I'll never go back, but the thing that would make me return would be the outdoor space and lack of other options. read more

This is a fun place with a cute ambiance. They don't serve food, so it's bring your own food. They have a nice table set up including an actual pontoon boat to sit in. It's open and airy. They have board games to play. They should get some bag boards for customers. They only really have beer. They need to get more wine options since some people aren't going to want to drink beer. They only have 2-3 wollersheim wine options. Hopefully as this business continues it will continue to add items. But definitely fun place to stop with friends or date night. read more

Us Illinoisans have been coming up to Eagle River since our childhood days as it holds a special place in our hearts. Andy's Pontoon Saloon has made our visit's more memorable and enjoyable! The atmosphere is dynamic with great bands playing Wednesday - Sunday afternoons. We loved their pizza! They serve Wisconsin craft beers and I tried the lite Pontoon Saloon beer which tasted delicious! They also serve wines, seltzers, NA beer & soda's. They have humongous pretzels also. The outdoor beer garden is family & dog friendly and they have a pontoon boat you can chill out in or take pictures. You can play a game of bags and they also have trivia, bingo & yoga night. In the cooler months there is a fire pontoon outside you can sit by enjoying your drinks. When it's too cold to bare the outdoors the garage doors close and there's a cozy bar inside where you can listen to music or enjoy your favorite sports team playing a game of football.
