I mention this to give credit to the female bartender who was hustling her tail off. Once seated she came over and took our drink order. THE ONLY NEGATIVE THING I WILL SAY ABOUT THIS PLACE IS THERE WAS NO DRINK MENU. Our gin and tonic, brandy old fashioned, white Zinfandel, and Bloody Mary with a chaser came out extremely fast. A perch dinner, beer battered fish fry, chicken tender, and a classic burger were ordered. We waited about 20 minutes for our food to arrive. My 3 piece beer battered cod was flaky and not greasy. My husband's perch came with 2 large filets and he said he really liked it. Chicken tenders are chicken tenders and hard to mess up haha. My dad said his burger was flavorful and juicy. For all 4 of us ordering food and having alcoholic beverages, our bill came to a little over $100. The bartender thanked us for our patience since she was the only person working, but we didn't feel we ever waited a long period for anything. Will definitely be back.

Staff were super friendly and working hard to keep up with the demand, it's a popular spot.

As a winemaker in California wine country, I'd rank Mary Kate's right up there with the best wine…read morebars in San Francisco or Napa--at a fraction of the price. Their selection is outstanding: a well-balanced mix of familiar, high-quality domestic wines (think Cakebread, Caymus, Ken Wright), rare gems you'll almost never spot on a by-the-glass list (like an incredible Royal Tokaji Furmint from Hungary), and top-tier premium vintages (including Kathryn Hall and Will Harlan). The best part? Almost every wine--except the ultra-premier vintages--is available in 2 oz pours, making it easy to explore without committing to a full glass. I have no idea how they keep so many bottles perfectly fresh (magic? generous amounts of Argon?), but it works. The décor nails the theme, the staff are warm and knowledgeable, and the small plates are thoughtfully chosen to complement the wines. A must-visit for anyone who loves exploring wine without breaking the bank.

My husband was finishing his drink, which he then chugged and we left . literally left a bad taste in our mouths; I've NEVER been asked to leave a restaurant in my 65 years of life. Very disappointing . Food was great, but felt it was rude to ask us to leave, especially since our awesome waitress did ask us at end of meal if we would like another drink.
