We went for broiled haddock and it was delicious! The prices are very reasonable, great service, good drinks. Highly recommended.

Tried this restaurant for the first time on a Friday night. We arrived 20 minutes early for our reservation so we could have a drink at the bar. Very friendly bartender. Enjoyed their raspberry sour beer on tap & my guest had a Brandy old fashioned. Both were good. The appearance of this restaurant is a solid 2. It reminds me of an old hall from the '70s. The silverware is the worst I've seen in a restaurant - with forks so thin you could likely bend them. What this place lacks in ambiance, it makes up for in service and food. 5 stars for both. We were seated promptly at our reservation time. Our server was friendly and walked us through their specials. Their seafood is flown in and what they're known for. I had the Cajun baked cod with wild rice. My guest had the fried cod with wild rice. Dinners come with choice of soup or salad. We both had the cream of asparagus soup, which was very good. Our meals were excellent. The fish was tender and flaky and the wild rice very good. I'd gladly pay $1 more per entree if they invested in some 'real' silverware. I will return - albeit with low expectations re: the ambience. The food is worth it!

I haven't been here in the past five years until recently since my brother suggested we stop by…read more Our server was very lovely, the dining area was simple with a great lake view, and the food was actually astounding. Seriously can't get the cherry chipotle bbq wings out of my head. Would recommend this place to anyone!

My wife and I were in town with our exchange students (from Italy and Spain), we had an expectation…read morethat we would have a hard time finding amazing food and did struggle the first few days with average results. Then as we sat at a local dive, I stumbled on Finn & Feather and we left, drove 95mph and made it (with an hour and half to spare as they are on Central time!). I am so glad we made that move, drinks were great, food was AMAZING! Our exchange students tried the ELK steak my wife ordered for the first time (and first time for me as well) and it was simply perfection! My old fashioned was spot on. I'm a steak guy, my steak was the GUIDES cut (I was skeptical), but HOLY COW, what a piece of meat, cooked to my exact standards (my Dad was a butcher) and the piece was a very generous portion given the price after cooking even. Ok, so I would leave it there, but I can NOT, the deserts were home-made, the in-house cream alone was fabulous and the cake we had was out of this world. Our only minor complaint, the broccolini needs some seasoning, but overall it was so minor, we wouldn't worry too much about it. If you are up North, an even within an hour, make the trip to this amazing restaurant sitting buried right on the shores of Lake Gogebic. It was so good, we heard they were doing a lobster boil the next night, we booked reservations on the spot and came back the next night! Special shout-out to our waiter and the whole staff - it was the Labor Day weekend and they made us feel special, included and the food - oh the food - so good! Don't miss this special place on your next trip up north!
