We're a rowdy group of 20+ adults plus little kids and they were the only bar around that would take a reservation. They were so kind and accommodating to our massive group! They reserved the side of the bar for us so we could cheer and boo without disturbing the rest of the bar too much. They turned off the music so we could easily hear the game and each other. There was a room off to the side the kids could play ping pong or foosball while the adults hung out. They let you bring in your own food but they also have massive soft pretzels that were super tasty! (We didn't try the pizza but I bet it's great!) To top it all off they have a great selection of beers, mixed drinks and a small but solid wine selection! This place seriously made our family party the best it could possibly be! Thanks so much for being awesome to a big group!

What really stands out here are the games, including axe throwing, shuffle board, Hammerschlagen (a nail pounding game), darts, pool, ping pong, cribbage, and probably something else that I didn't see. Their shuffle board table is one of the best I've ever played on -- full sized, smooth and fast. It may take a few tries to get the hang of it, but once you get zeroed in it makes for a great game. And, of course, as their name implies, the featured activity is axe throwing. Tossing a dangerous tool, trying to stick it in a wooden wall, and hitting the target for maximum points is harder than it looks. But once you get the technique mastered (even partially) it is incredibly satisfying and a lot of fun. Three stars for the bar, five four the games, four overall.
