Or "if it made us feel any better they took the last order at 7:45" I was holding the door open for my dad when she made the comment about children, one hand high on the doorframe, and shrugged while sort of tossing both hands in the air...at which point she started claiming to other customers I flipped her off. I would never imagine doing that to someone!!!! Extremely odd behavior when all I said in the exchange was that it was 8:04. Also worth noting that the dining room was 60-70% full, the bar had 6 people in it and food was still coming out. We didn't walk into a sleepy night with an empty restaurant asking for a table, the parking lot was full and business seemed to be steady. I've worked for really nice restaurants in Minocqua for years and would have been fired immediately if I ever spoke to customers like that.
