I had an unfortunate minor fender bender in the driveway backing into the garage. Yes, it was completely my fault!! I have been reminded of that weekly by my wife. Anyway, I went to Ed Joyner's for the repair and paint work to get my 2008 Mustang Bullitt back into semi cars n coffee shape. It's not a show winner but, I try and keep my vehicles clean and in great shape. Ed is a pro as is his staff. From the estimate write up to the repair work, I'm completely satisfied. The car was repaired in a little over a week. The work that was done is top notch. If you live in the Wake Forest / Rolesville area and need a reliable and reasonably priced repair shop, this is it. There were a lot of cars in the lot and he's busy so the turnaround on a repair job might be lengthy. Mine wasn't so bad but it was expensive none-the-less. I paid out of pocket in cash for this one so, the wallet is a tad lite right now. No high end restaurant reviews here on Yelp for while lol. read more

Not much help. Had to call them back 5xs in two weeks fir a small job estimate. Only interested in doing insurance jobs.

If you want your car back in any reasonable amount of time, or a simple update on the process, do not go here. They rarely answer the phone, and when they do they ask to call you back and never do. It took four days before they towed my car because they forgot, and over a month for my car to be fixed with what insurance called "minimal damage." read more

Had my driver door and fender replaced. They used a used door. I went to a car wash and had water pouring into the door. I took it back and it was adjusted. Now no leakage but the window has issues. I always have to hit the lever twice to get the window to go down or up. I chose them because they are close to where I live. Seems I should have gone farther out. For $2800 I probably even would have gotten a new door or at least one that had been tested to see if it had any issues before I was told it was ready. Never again read more

I asked for an estimate, and they went ahead and fixed the damage on my car. They knew that I already had a repair check from the insurance company. So they were communicating with the insurance company (who told them to go ahead), and not me. When I reminded them that I had only asked for an estimate, and, that I wanted to get a 2nd opinion - Ed Joyner said, "OK, I'll put it back to how it was." No apology, no nothing, but now I have a vehicle in WORSE shape, because, how could you fix it - then unfix it - without doing more damage? read more

Didn't know I was coming to someone's house to get my car fixed. Maybe that's why it took so long to get my car back. Once I got it back it the work was shabby. Next time I'm going to a real auto body shop and I'd highly suggest you do the same. read more

We've brought our cars to Ed for many years. Ed does great work at reasonable prices. He's a good, honest businessman. I personally love the fact that his shop is directly behind his house. Theres certainly no hiding if your customers aren't 100% satisfied. But you don't need to worry about that, as I'm sure you'll be very satisfied if you use him. I was referred to Ed Joyner by my insurance agent after my car was T-boned. I had originally gone to Haddock Collision Center at Wakefield. They wanted to total my car on the spot without even assessing the damage. When I insisted that I didn't want it totaled, they said they'd fix it but pretty much said it would be a crap job with extremely minimal repair. Ed, on the other hand, assured me that he wouldn't let the guy's insurance company total it. He dealt with a very difficult insurance company and took care of everything. He managed to work with them so that all the damage was repaired at no out of pocket expenses for me. The work was very well done, completed in a timely manner, and my car looked brand new. Ed Joyner is a very honest businessman which is hard to find especially in the automotive industry. He does excellent work and I highly recommend him. read more
