I worked with Caliber Collision to get everything repaired and I was impressed by the quality of their work. They also got everything done quickly. They were reasonably communicative throughout, and DeAnna did a good job of explaining exactly what they repaired and giving a reasonable timeline. Overall, hopefully I don't need their services again anytime soon, but I'd definitely come back here.

the team at caliber are literal saints and all stars!…read more i was rear ended stopped at a light by a driver on their cell phone who failed to even brake on a 45 mph road here in cary. my car was slammed from behind and pushed into the car in front of me and undriveable. it was towed off and then the at fault driver's insurance caught wind their $50,000 property damage limit was likely insufficient for two damaged cars and they left it all on me. enter alora. i needed to get the car towed somewhere to assess damage. caliber was slammed but the only place that came highly, highly recommended. as alora was recommending back up places i started to cry explaining the insurance left me hanging with three costly car seat replacements, a crazy hassle for a comparable rental, and a back and forth runaround that was insane ... and then she took control... she wanted to help. and help me she did: they did more to get things moving than both insurance companies.  she knew my car was likely a total loss and yet alora took it upon herself, busy as can be, to reach out to the regional liberty mutual rep to get them to issue a claim number so she get things moving. i have a business background and if that isn't girlboss, tell me what is. i'll wait. car accidents are expensive. they are a navigation and logistical nightmare. if you're in this situation i am so very sorry. repairs take real professionals. the best thing you can do is go to a team that cares to do right. As I was returning to my car, I could see it from a distance, someone had "keyed " scratch, the entire length of the driver's side of my vehicle. It was severe. Rule of thump: put water on a scratch on your auto finish, if the scratch disappears it can be buffed out. When I got home I ran the hose,wet the car, the scratch remained completely visible. As I'm new to Raleigh, and new to NC I didn't know who to call. I opened the Yelp app and contacted several repair shops based on reviews. They all responded promptly and gave a quote except one. The first one to respond didn't give me a quote, he set a time for the next day when he could come see it in person. The day Travis arrived a few minutes early and I was ready. He inspected the scratch and gave me a quote, best by several hundred $$ I was skeptical, I told Travis I was awaiting to hear from a couple more shops but I would let him know either way within a couple hours. I had a good feeling about Travis so even though his very much lower price gave me a "too good to be true" vibe, I needed my car fixed so I texted Travis. We set a time for two days later as I had to work around my schedule. Travis' two helpers arrived early, before Travis. They explained they would prep the car and could start immediately. I left them to get started as I had a project had had to attend. When I looked outside maybe 20 mins later Travis was there his truck unloaded, equipment set up. All three seemed very busy. What they had to do to get that scratch out was unreal. The scratch wasn't just to the metal, the metal was scratched as well. It was a lot of work many steps in the process and it took some time. As they neared completion of the project, one of the guys found me in my backyard and filled me in. I started towards my car, already close enough where the scratch was previously visible, I saw shiny pint. I continued to close the distance, scrutinizing with increased intensity. I was at the car, scanning the previously damaged area with my eyes. I saw no sign of any damage, no residual of the scratch whatsoever. My nightmare was over, Travis and his guys made my car look like brand new. I can once again drive my car with pride. He said he wasn't able to get after market parts, except that also is a lie because I have it at another shop and they are able to get every single piece it needs from Auto Parts outlet in Raleigh, for just under 1500. He told me it would be over 8K to fix it because "all the parts had to be ordered new". Unprofessional, overly aggressive, misogynistic scam artist. Our Tesla Service Rep recommended we send our car here for estimate and repair, after the Tesla…read moreService Center repeatedly damaged it. She said this was their go-to repair partner. From what we can tell, Relentless told us one thing when speaking to us, but then threw us under the bus when talking to the Tesla executive in charge of signing off on the work - saying their quote to fix was so high - $17K - because 'we wouldn't be satisfied unless we had a brand new car....'and then someone called the Tesla exec daily demanding our car be removed? Unless the Tesla exec misrepresented what occurred. The result was that our car sat on their parking lot for months and was never fixed. And we had to push to get a straight answer on either side as to what was going on. During their initial inspection, however, their mechanics pulled apart the driver side door and put it back together again, to check it for safety...but now we have a brand new issue - the door handle closes so slowly - imagine a quiet-close toilet lid - that the door won't lock shut and bangs back open unless you push the handle down yourself manually. I left the owner two emails months apart - to which he never responded. I've now left a voicemail. The only other option to get someone's attention would be driving the car there in person. We imagine it's easy enough for them to put right, but it is hard to believe we aren't being intentionally ignored. This isn't choosing whether or not to take a job - it's fixing something they caused. I thought about not posting this, but this is just not accountable business practice. Yet another reason not to operate a Tesla in the Raleigh area. Relentless was supposed to be the white knight, a lone Tesla-authorized body shop with a good rep. If we can't trust the Tesla service center and we can't rely on Relentless, I don't know where that leaves the many Tesla owners here.
