I have used Caliber Collision in Wake Forest twice in the past year. The first was when my car was rear-ended with stopped traffic, and the second time was when my car was hit in a parking lot. My car was parked in a parking space, and I wasn't near it when an unlicensed driver backed into it. Amica is my insurer, and I used them both times, and they could subrogate. The first accident, I had more updates on the progress and damage, and the car was completed in 13 days--the second time, even though there was less damage, it took almost as long. The updates were not as often. I realize that this is a busy shop. But the work done is great and guaranteed. read more

Recently got into a car accident, we were fortunate enough to get into Caliber the very next morning. We have GEICO car insurance and the process of dropping our car off, meeting with adjuster and obtaining our rental car was efficient and very professional. Our GEICO rep has kept us informed with every step of the way via text. Our original finish date was three weeks out, however our car repair will be finished 9 days early! Very pleased with every employee we've interacted with from the friendly front desk ladies to the adjuster to the young man from Enterprise (shout out to Harrison!). Highly recommend! read more

Worst experience ever. Car was in accident but drivable- drove it 2 days before getting an appointment. Mark Yates was a joke. He was extremely unprofessional and condescending. Emailed me an estimate that was $2000 less than he sent my insurance company in which they determined it was totaled. When I told them I would pick up the car it was all of the sudden "not drivable" they had gone ahead and removed several parts of my vehicle without permission. I had to then wait a week until they so called put it back together. Once I arrived it was still not drivable and was told the items I pointed out would only take 5 minutes to fix- yet they had it a week. They put parts on upside down and offered no apologies for anything. Once I drove off the check engine light was on along with other lights that were not on when I dropped it off initially. I would not recommend this location to anyone!! read more

Called to ask about an estimate for my truck and was told that I have to wait a week for first availability to get an appointment. I asked if they have hours on weekends to get appointment, responded that hours are 9-6 M-F. Asked when the next avail appoint is in the 5:30-6 timeframe as I work 9-5M-F. I had work done to my car her before and I received great service and my car came back in great shape! This last time I used them was a horror story on top of me having just bumper damage my car stay with the company for over a month and when it was returned to me my seats on the inside of my car were burnt from the welding the doors and roof off. When I asked them about they said they didn't know what happend they did replace my seats, Fast forward to today while cleaning things out of my trunk their is more burnt spot I found in my Trunk from them welding the side panel to my car. People are very nice and cordial... southern hospitality, for sure. However, when I picked up my car, I had 2-3 long scratches on the front door passenger side around the hinge. I checked the work, but that work was done on the driver's side. It concerns me that they took care of everything else, but missed the glaring scratches on a car that previously had no damage other than what they fixed. Also, as I was driving out, I tried to roll down my front passenger window and that was not working either. I'm not happy about being inconvenienced, but Kenny was very helpful and prompt getting both things fixed. So, good customer service, poor quality control. I might suggest that they add in some quality checks to verify the original condition of the vehicle or better. I originally gave them two stars but added another because they did detail the inside. Stuff happens, I guess, but making sure everything works/looks good before giving the car back to the customer is key! Docking stars for additional scratches found on the car. They "sprayed it off" after they fixed the first set of scratches, which obscured the damage. I'm not sure if that was intentional or not, but I've asked to speak with a manager now. Not at all happy. Third time I've come back inside after seeing something else. read more

Brought my car in for repairs after being side swiped - insurance work. They had my car for plenty of time to fix it the right way. When I got it back I didn't have time to go over every little detail as I had to get to get to work. The clips holding my front bumper are broken, the wrong ones, or not there at all so my bumper doesn't sit right and I have to pop both sides back in multiple times, every single day. They refuse to fix it for me fully, saying I must have hit a curb and it's my fault the bumper doesn't sit right - they placed a couple more cheap clips in and it still doesn't sit right on my car. I will never be back, due to poor customer service by simply refusing to repair my car properly. read more

When I got in my accident right around Christmas I was very nervous that not only would it take forever to get my car back, but also that things could go wrong since I was traveling to another part of the United States and wouldn't be able to come in in person to make decisions. David Marshall was everything I needed and more to feel comfortable with the entire process. Not only did he call me with major updates but he also emailed me many photos of the repairs through out the process since I was away from the area! Just got my car back from Caliber. Overall, I am satisfied with the work they have done. However, after picking up my car, I noticed that one of my headlights had a significant amount of condensation inside-- enough to cause pooling along the bottom of the assembly. After taking my car back to Caliber, I was told that this was something they were not willing to fix because it was unrelated to the repairs they made, and that I should instead call the Hyundai dealership. Since pictures were taken (by Caliber) before my car was fixed, and there was no water present, I find it pretty ridiculous that Caliber is not willing to fix it. read more

I was asked to write a review by way of an email sent to me.So here it is. The person helping me (who will remain Anonymous) deal with my claim from the onset was very deceptive and manipulative. He had his decision made to not fix my car because it wasn't going to be an easy fix. Subsequently, it took 30 days for them to even have the time to figure out what was necessary to either fix it or total it. Although I was told he calls on Mondays and Wednesdays rarely was I given a phone call. My wife was spoken to in a childish manner which is upsetting. I will say that the office staff is very cordial and very nice. It will be very difficult for me to recommend this place to anyone. read more

I was in an accident in January that was not my fault. The other party's insurance company told me that a tow truck will take my car to their facility and to remove my plates. They haven't even seen my car and I could felt they were going to make it a total loss because I hear that's how insurance companies work now due to Covid. I was hoping Caliber would fix my car and not let it be a total loss. I thought the damage didn't look that bad as my fenders were in perfect condition and it was mainly the hood and front bumper that had a lot of damage. After I found it is considered a total loss,I called Caliber to let them I would be coming by in 10 minutes to take pictures of the interior so the insurance company can see how well maintained the car was and I could get more for the value. When I arrived my car was towed just minutes before. I later got a letter from the DMV that I owed $50 because my license plate wasn't turned in. I can't believe Caliber wouldn't remove them and let me know my plate will be there to pick up! This is their business! They know the law better than anyone and should have advised me. I consider that poor service. I called the manager and left a message but never heard back. I would recommend Triangle collision who says it's your decision! Very disappointed. read more

Took my wife's van in for repair and for a van valued at $10,450, they allowed the insurance company (not ours, the other driver was at fault) to convince them to repair the van. Took it back once for the fender being BENT upon installation. They broke 3 brackets trying to "fix" the screw up from their tech (that they ended up firing). Told them the van still wasn't right and they basically told me that that's the way it's going to be. When you make a right turn, you can HEAR THE WHEEL SCRUBBING on the fender well (that's not a properly repaired vehicle to me). Was going to take my truck to then and the more and more I thought about it, the more I kept asking myself "are you an idiot". I WOULD NOT recommend Caliber Collision to my worse enemy. When they were Johnson's Collisions Center they were much more courteous and did much better work. Obviously a Nationally owned chain don't care about their customers, just that check they get handed. read more

I was given an estimated time for completion of repairs and received periodic texts during this time providing a status. A rental vehicle was needed during this time; Enterprise Rental is located in the same building making this a very easy process.
