Quin is very professional and considerate of my time. I took in my Honda to clean the upholstery and headliner, which had water stains from the moon roof. My only issues were 1) finding the place. Google took me to the block before, which is only woods and since his unit is not on the street, I looked for a while. 2) when I got home, I noticed the headliner still had significant stains. I purchased my 2022 Tesla model 3, came to the Detailing Genius for their ceramic window tinting service since they offered one of the cheapest service. During the drop off or before the work, they did not informed me of any worries or details that I should've known prior to working on my vehicle (because there just wasn't anything since I inspected it prior and brought to this shop the next day of purchase.). After picking it up, I noticed that they've done incredibly horrible job on my window tinting (as you can see from the picture). He claimed that he had his plotter cut out the material, but it's crystal clear he hand cut the film and applied it, which you can see it being teared up in the corner, and uneven alignment across the window. I'm not sure why he delivered my car like this as his FINISHED product for the service, but yikes. I complained about his unprofessional work and his lack of experiencing in this field to perform a service on the car. He firstly offered a mere $100 off of the service (out of $450 quote), which was ridiculous. Then, he offered to redo the job after I complained about his unprofessionalism. Knowing how horrible job he can do and ruin my car, I just decided to PAY OUT OF MY OWN POCKET to remove the tint from a professional tinter in the area ($150). After all that jazz, taking my loss, I went to another professional tinter in the area, and while we were taking a look at the tint job done by Detailing Genius, they pointed out all of the horrible water spots, debris INSIDE the tint and the window, misalignment, etc. They then pointed out if I really want to tint the rear windshield because the defrosters were damaged. I was shocked, and called the Detailing Genius right away. Detailing Genius pointed out that there is no way that they've done it, even though this car was dropped off to them the next day of my purchase of the car, and inspected for any sign of concerns before going into the service with the Detailing Genius. It's really clear that they've really screwed my car up with their horrible job of window tinting, misalignment, and destorying my defroster, which quoted to be about $1,000 to replace the entire rear windshield caused by them. I will be filing a small civil lawsuit against the Detailing Genius since they are refusing to cooperate, also questioning their professionalism and ability to work on these services legally. It's been probably 2 months since I came here and It is sad I can only give it 3 stars. They owner is such a nice guy and he does good work but I wouldn't call him a genius. After I left the floor was still incredibly wet. I am convinced that he could have spent more time on the vacuum sucking out the moisture from it. I've detailed my car before and it is the first time a car has taken about a whole week in order to dry out. I kept the windows down and kept it outdoors while it was hot to accelerate the drying time but it still took long. Furthermore I was expecting at least one of those "new car" air fresheners in order to make me feel that I was getting into a "new car" .... Or even any other kind of air freshener. Somehow I though that was standard, I am used to that but didn't get any. I think there is room for improvement. read more

12/10 would recommend! I bought a car from my brother for a great deal except the condition he left the car in... it was GRUNGY. Dude hadn't washed or vacuumed the car since he purchased it several years earlier. There was a stain from where he "dropped a cup of Mountain Dew" and never attempted to clean it up complete with crumbs and grime in every orifice of the car. Needless to say, I was nervous and skeptical about both the online estimate I received and the ability of the team to perform literal magic. Quin showed up with 2 additional team members and they put in WORK on my car for ~2 hours. I peaked out the window for progress about halfway through (since the detailing was in the convenience of my driveway) and was met with a glare from the super sheen I didn't know the bumper had to offer. My only regret was not taking 'before' pictures. I made two of my family members come check out the new whip and we were all oooing and ahhhing over the night and day difference. Quin's team did undeniably incredible work all while honoring the initial estimate! I had a really good experience with The Detailing Genius. My car desperately needed vacuuming & shampooing and a wash. I take care of dogs, so there was dog fur and a number of what remained of spilled drinks on the seats. Quin put in a lot of effort and made a HUGE difference in the feel (and smell haha) of the car.
