I brought my car here to have the tint removed because my car didn't pass inspection. My tint was too dark for NC regulations because I got it tinted in AZ. I chose this place because in a previous Yelp review the car owner said his tint was within the regulation and Shade Custom Tint told him to take his car to another inspection place. So just in case the inspection place I went to was blowing smoke I figured I'd go here because they're obviously honest. The cost for the tint removal was about $40 less than other places I called. Overall the tint and UV protection in my opinion is worth the risk. I received front windshield and sunroof UV filter application also front window tint service. The tinted windows make the vehicle much more private and comfortable. The UV filter on the windshield and sunroof does decrease the temperature in the car. My brand new car windshield was damaged in the application process. The mark has not been removed after a second opinion and 2 attempts to buff out. The owner was apologetic, partly took responsibility and fulfilled my request for the windshield to be refunded. The film application process was quicker and caused more mess then I expected. 6/2018 Contacted Shade through the Yelp app, had a fast response. Called to make an appointment and they were booked out for a week, but was willing to call me if there was a cancellation. Lady Luck on my side I received a call shortly after hanging up and got in to get the windows done the next day. When I arrived the staff was very courteous and professional, they explained the different tint they offer and the advantages. Went with the middle grade tint knowing I was not keeping the car too much longer. Service was excellent from start to finish, and I'm extremely pleased with the results. Made a good difference on the heat while at the beach over July 4th. I will definitely return with my next vehicle. 2/2019 So as stated above, I would return with my next vehicle. Outstanding tint job on my new truck. They are certified Llumar dealers and have the full line of tints. I got the 360 degree IRX treatment with the strip across the top of the windshield and the difference in heat and light is amazing.
