Well-deserved five star review: Had my Mazda CX-30 less than a month when I hit a deer, dented my bumper, and lost a piece of molding around the front passenger wheel well. Got estimates from the dealer and a large auto body shop, but both seemed really high to me, so I Googled "Best auto body repair near me" to find possible alternatives. SlickRick's had stellar reviews, so I called for an appointment. The other estimates I had gotten were for completely replacing the front bumper and wheel well molding (new parts, painted to match), but Ricky thought he could repair the bumper, and just replace the wheel well molding - at about half the cost. Yay! Since his estimate was below my insurance deductible, I decided not to go through insurance, which meant my rates wouldn't go up. Another Yay! Ricky gave me an estimate and time frame for repairs on Monday, I brought the car in on Tuesday, and by Friday my car was done (on time, at estimated cost, and looking absolutely brand new). I almost cried when I saw it, he did such an amazing job! Ric is fantastic. Last summer I purchased a 2003 Town Car that was in need of some paint work, and some minor body work, including replacing the grill (chrome was flaking off the original one). Ric was one of the three places I went to for a quote. He was the least expensive, as well as the most honest about turn around and conditions. When I picked my car up, I was blown away, it looked practically brand new. One of my big concerns was the infamous "orange peel" that can be seen in some paint jobs (even factory!), and I had told him I was willing to pay more for the time to get it as smooth as possible, and he delivered!! He also got all the brake dust stains out of my wheels, something a professional detailer said could not be done. Don't be thrown off by his workshop (it's on the property with CubeSmart storage), he does quality work. I met Ric at a neighborhood block party. It was of the best things that happened that day. He give me his card. I have a honda pilot and the seat broke. He came to my house and gave me a estimate on fixing the front driver seat of my Honda pilot. He save me over $1,600.00 and did an awesome job. I just got my car back from Rickey and it looks amazing. Rickey has been painting my vehicles for years & he is very professional. I own a repair shop & I only trust rick with my vehicles. In the past I had bad experience when I took my new truck to Hendrick collision in cary after it was hit. It took them 2 months to get my vehicle in for repair and when it was finished, I was not happy with their work. The interior had over spary in it,broken plastic trim and the paint had run marks. this is a real review from a real customer. my car had a couple of deep scratches in the fender that insurance priced just under my deductible so it was going to be out of pocket. Ricky is awesome. A friend introduced me to the shop when my Volvo got struck in the door. I was planning on bringing the vehicle to a large chain type body shop but then heard of the excellent work Ricky does. Had a small mishap on left rear gray bumper which resulted in roughly a 6'' by 6" area of blue paint scratches. Brought the car into Ricky the next day and he repaired it on the spot. No waiting, just immediate service by someone who I can tell loves their work and did an awesome job. In less than 20 minutes he treated the area, buffed out all the scratches and restored the damaged area to like new condition. I visited Ricky to get a scratch fixed on my car. I had received 2 quotes from other local paint shops, but Ricky's quote was easily the best. The work turned out great and I would definitely recommend him to others. The only issue I had was that my car was supposed to have been finished "the next day" but it ended up taking an extra day. My brand new car met my garage door in a most unfriendly way. The metal door handle scraped down the front leaving a nasty mark and even chipped the paint out in places. I was sick!
