I chose this shop because the insurance has it as preferred and they dealt directly without any hassle for me in the process. I was hit by a deer and needed medium level repairs. The front desk is a mix-match (the younger personnel is much nicer). The five stars go to the general manager Katie Floros. She got personally involved when I had some questions about the details of the repair and got it fixed to my satisfaction. She went above and beyond in customer service! Caliber Collision took care of all of my repair needs & my little 2005 Mercedes came back looking better than it did when I 1st bought it. Every single person that I encountered there made me feel like my repair was just as important as someone with a newer more expensive car. Their quote was in line with other shops but Caliber was able to take my repair & complete it months faster than any other shop. They set up a rental plus returned my rental for me when the job was done. PLEASE READ 2022 Subaru Outback interior was set on fire at Caliber Collision as repairs were being done for a hit and run that happened one evening as my car sat in a parking lot. I returned home from my trip and my Insurance company gave me their "Preferred shop" list and Caliber Collision was on the top of their suggested shops to use. I did not want any hassle with the repairs and claims like I have had before with other shops, so I chose to go with them. As the hit and run damage was being repaired I was called by the shop manager who informed me they had a minor fire during the repairs. I went the next day to look, and, this was not a minor fire. Interior trim has been destroyed from the fire damage, including SMOKE damage and fire extinguisher powder throughout entire vehicle. Wiring harness for SRS system(air bag), seat belt, insulation, headliner, door trim, rear trim paneling, column panel, carpet, floor mats etc... melted!! There was a big bag full of destroyed items. All melted and ruined from fire and smoke. I did take pictures, thank goodness! The entire car has now been compromised from smoke, fire extinguisher powder, and extreme heat. All seats and carpet, smoke filled and ruined, but I was told they were to be cleaned and everything will be fine. They said they will repair the issue and compensate me with $1000. Yes you read that correct. $1000 big ones!! Absolutely unacceptable. Caliber Collision said that is their final offer. "the ball is your court now," the regional manager said to me. This is a true story , It really happened. I honestly cant make things like this up. Caliber Collision 10225 Capital Blvd. Wake Forest, NC told me that this will NOT go on my car fax report, which I thought interesting. (is that legal?) This is something I could not allow myself to consciously do. Me knowing I will now have a fire damaged car, and, in the future, sell it to someone else without their knowledge that this had happened. I do not believe that is ethical. I then called my own insurance company, which I should not have had to do, to handle the mess of Caliber Collisions faulty actions. Caliber Collision did not want to report this to their own shop insurance after I insisted to file a new fire claim, and also a diminished value claim with their shop insurance. That did not happen. Instead I was told to "give them a number" for compensation. I told them they will now have to purchase my car at the value it was brought to them from the initial hit and run accident, before their fire had occurred. I then received a shop estimate from the manager and a separate estimate from my insurance company. Both estimates were identical. The exact same in house Caliber Collision cost for fire repair was the exact same amount down to the penny my insurance sent me. (Who's in bed with who, I asked myself). This 2022 Subaru was special ordered from the dealership and I waited 1 year and 3 months to get it. I now have a fire damaged 2022 Subaru Outback, that has tremendously been de-valued. I personally have made mistakes at my work and have had to stand up for my mistakes, and pay big out of pocket expenses to get things corrected the right way. I don't believe Caliber Collision is doing there part. They are only trying to hide the fact that this accident happened and save their butt from corporate office. A sneaky cover-up. Smoke damage to any vehicle causes more than $1000 in diminished value. It is unacceptable for any business to treat a client the way I have been treated and then forced to deal with the unnecessary outcome when I am not the one at fault. Disgusting and outrageous!! Caliber is top notch. Quality work in a timely fashion. & a certified Blue Ribbon Shop! We had insurance work done here and they made the process as seamless as possible. When we picked up our car we noticed a pressure point that was causing a crack. Over night the pressure point appeared. Tommy who may have been a manager, was awesome. He was understanding, approachable, kind and got that crack back in the shop immediately & got us a rental. On June 12,2020 my Lexus was involved in a collision. I was worried sick about it being fixed properly and back on the road. I prayed that it would go to a reputable and honest body shop. I got a phone call from Mark Yates at 10225 Capital Blvd. He thoroughly put my mind at ease and assured me I would be happy when they were done with my car. He and his team kept me posted on everything that I needed to know. I am so happy that my car went to that shop! On the day I picked it up, when I entered the office, I was greeted as though I was a friend of the family. The young lady at the front desk was wonderful and I'm sorry I didn't get her name,being so excited! When I finally got to meet Mark, it was as though we were old friends. My wife's van was taken here for repairs after a lady decided to take a short cut and run a stop sign plowing into the drivers side of our van. Van was NOT repaired properly the first time (resulting in technician being terminated), after picking up the second time van still want right (and to this day, a month later still isn't fixed), was told that's the way it's going to be. When you make a right turn you can hear the tire scrubbing on the inside fender well, but obviously Caliber doesn't care because they got their check from our atty and as long as they have their money in hand, they ain't going to make anything right. I WOULD NOT recommend this place to my worse enemy. Yes, (sadly enough) I dropped off my pick up to be repaired there and very quickly went back and picked it up after calling myself an idiot for leaving it with them. They have lost my business and I will NEVER go back to this place if they're the only repair shop left in North Carolina. read more

This place is the worst customer service that I have ever seen! 1st time we dealt with them was when my husbands car had storm damage a few years ago. Ever week that they promised it would be ready turned into another week and another. Then we finally get it and as he is driving home the cover on the bottom of the car fell off and was destroyed because they did not put the clips to hold it on. Then he noticed the dash board was cracked but it wasn't when we dropped it off. Now my mother had to take her Kia there for repair, she was told 3 days. Today is day three and it's not ready because the parts are not in yet. They said they didn't order the parts until she dropped it off even though she took it a week before for an estimate. They knew then what they needed to repair it and they knew when she dropped it off that they hadn't ordered the parts yet but they still said it would be ready today. No today they are so Monday but no later than Tuesday. If our insurance company tells you to use this company refuse and make them find you someone else. Unless you have plenty of time and an extra car to drive stay away! read more

Someone hit my car. State Farm had Caliber as their repair facility. Brought my car in for them to look at it. They gave me a quote and told me they would call when the parts came in, which would be on Monday or Tuesday. On Thursday I had not heard anything from them, so I called and asked what was going on. The front desk person said let me check with Wayne and let you know. Then he calls me back and says they will not fix my car as it is not the type of work they typically do and they did not think "they would be able to please me". I was very surprised and asked what he meant as they had already given me a quote and Wayne and I had agreed on a plan. So I asked what happened, he then got rude and said "I can deny service because I do not like how you are talking to me". This comment totally surprised me. I had not raised my voice or used bad words. Just asked questions. Bottom line is the damage was not their typical body work and they planned to get used parts to fix the car. Wayne explained this was State Farm policy and I agreed to it. If the used parts they got could not be made to look as good as the ones that got damage, then just say that versus getting rude and having a very arrogant attitude. Do not go to this place.
