Someone hit and ran my Tesla in a parking lot on May 5th. It was a terrible situation and I contacted Tesla and the told me this was the only authorized repair center that works on Tesla. I met with then to get an estimate, Mark said it would be around a price and by that afternoon I got the estimate for the damages. It was under $1800 which was fine. The only downside would be how long it would take to get the part since Tesla is a new company. By june 17th I got a phone call to bring the car in they got the part and it took 5 days to repair. The staff was nice and friendly, they were very helpful only con, I work and live in Greensboro and the traffics to the location was unbearable. Raleigh sucks, I left to pick up my car at 2:30 got there at 4:40 and got home by 6:30 what a exhausting trip for something wasn't my fault but that's no fault to them, I wish there was one in Greensboro or Tesla service centers closer to Greensboro. I would recommend these people to any Tesla owner, but be warned you will have to wait for the parts. read more

Down town location has the worst customer service. Their business practice is no business you want to spend your time or money on. Ali has no customer service skills to be an officer manager. That's a joke managers try their very best to correct problems but not ali she will make you feel like It is your fault you dont know how to book an appointment. ( I booked through the call center which is not the correct way to make an appointment) how would the consumer know that. Ali also told me there was no one else that could help me. Jared was out sick. When I asked for his contact information she gave me a email address. when I asked her to spell it for me she hung up on me. So rude. Completely uncalled for. Of course I was upset. Your business made a mistake not me for being upset. you did nothing to help with the problem. She needs to brush up on her customer service skills. read more

He made sure I was completely satisfied with the workmanship and best of all he saved me money by providing me with a honest nonsensical assessment of the damage and the remediation. Eric even tried to help me sync up my Apple car play something the dealership should have done when I purchased the car. He is very pleasant and accommodating. It was a trued pleasure working with him! He is a great representative and reason alone to continue to use Caliber Collision. I certainly hope he will be promoted at the earliest convenience! Avoid this center for high dollar/exotic paint repair. Despite being a Porsche authorized paint center, I found the repairs they did to my 2012 Porsche turbo to be quite lacking. There was orange peal parent on repair as well as a paint drip above the rear bumper. Vehicle was taken in for a minor crack in bumper, the repair was done and the entire rear bumper repainted. When I contacted the manager to complain that the paint work was not satisfactory I never received a returned call despite a policy of satisfaction of all paint work and warranty against defects. To top it all off I asked that my car not be rear driven after repairs because it is a performance vehicle and the rear bumper did not warrant a test drive to ensure repairs were successful. They drove it anyways in excess of 15 miles and left me a gas gauge that was a lot lower than what it was before. Not happy with customer service or quality of work, the need to be removed from authorized repair center for Porsche. read more

If I could give a ZERO, I would. Avoid Caliber at all costs! They are 'wolves in sheep's clothing'. My car was in a fender bender...still ran fine, no leaks, everything WORKED. They told me the car was 'not safe to drive' which was ironic because it was driven 3 hours home (on the interstate no less) after the fender bender with no issues. They gave my insurance company an 'estimate for repairs' and declared it a 'total loss'. ??? I was kept out of the loop----Their estimate included replacing things NOT DAMAGED. I asked for an itemized invoice at least 3 times...they finally sent it to me AFTER declaring my car a 'total loss' and sending the fraudulent estimate to my insurance company. They TOTALLY screwed us over. Now I am dealing with my insurance company to get a 'branded title' on a car that was NOT a 'total loss'! I thought it was fishy when I went to retrieve my disassembled car and all the parts and their 'total loss' file on the wall was stuffed full. The 'ready for pick up' had maybe 8 files. (The kicker was that I was going to have to PAY for them to put my bumper, grill, headlights etc. back on after they did their 'diagnosis'.) I got 3 different places to look at my car after that. ALL 3 said 'Caliber is a crook!' I finally took my car to an HONEST repair place, and they fixed my car for $2000 LESS than Caliber's 'estimate'...and every professional who looked at my car said it was NOT a 'total loss'. They couldn't have been nicer, from the receptionists to the employee I met who directed me to the comfortable waiting area , all were so pleasant and friendly. Garett , who was smiling and so personable, came quickly to look at my car and repaired my bumper cover while I waited! He walked out with me to review his work( it was perfect !) and when I asked the cost I was told " Merry Christmas and no charge." I hate this, I hate giving one star, but I hate even more the mediocrity and arrogance of a large corporate organization when it comes to the consumer. We were visiting from Ohio for a wedding and our car was broken into. Both the front and rear passenger side windows were smashed and we were looking at an 8 hour drive home to Ohio in December. Because of Covid and supply issues no one had our glass in stock. We were looking at leaving our car and flying home and coming back for it later. Caliber offered to put a "crash wrap on the car that would allow us to get it home. After windy ride from the hotel to the shop we waited less than an hour before they presented our car, broken glass vacuumed out, and windows tightly wrapped. Pros - Great, high quality work done on our car and people willing to help. Communication was mostly really good (consistent / regular). Cons - There were problems getting parts for our vehicle (not Caliber's fault). It took nearly 3 weeks to complete. *However* when we asked Caliber Paragon about getting our parts quickly, a solution was "wait & see"... Nope! After tracking down the reason for our parts missing, finding & making someone responsible for getting the missing parts shipped & delivered, then providing Caliber Paragon with that Point of Contact from the parts department, ONLY THEN was progress expedited and our vehicle was repaired. read more

Terrible experience. Sister took her car here after an accident because Caliber was so highly rated. Vehicle sat for a week without starting repairs. Additional damage was found and submitted to insurance company, but no one at Caliber called to tell us that. It was only though a status update call that I made to find out that information. Then, they decided they didn't have enough mechanics to work on the car and transferred it to a Durham location, without asking if that is what we wanted. By contrast to this Raleigh location, the Durham location was fantastic. read more

Avoid this place!! First they botch repairs and refuse to fix it, to make it worse they were out hot rodding my vehicle when I told them do not drive the car!!! And they did then when I picked it up the guy said there's nothing he could do about it. Finally after posting a review the manager said she didn't think my vehicle was ever repaired at this location then I provided receipts and she said she would resolve it! She never did and still will Not contact me! I am working with Porsche of North America to have this location removed from the authorized repair facility list. Terrible experience. Delayed at starting repairs, unreliable when calling for information, unfriendly front desk staff, and even when they told me the job was done 3 weeks later and to pick up the car - I sat for almost 30 minutes waiting. That was after standing at the front desk for almost ten minutes not even greeted by the TWO front desk staff when I was the only customer in the room. Caliber Collision was amazing to work with. It is now the only place I will take any vehicle that needs repair and/or body work. I specifically worked with Rodney but everyone at this location had great customer service and I can't say enough about the communication from Rodney and the staff. I received a text a few times a week with updates on the status of my vehicle and only ended up calling once in 5 weeks because they always called me first. My car is a custom order high priced sports car and it's very stressful placing a vehicle like that in someone else's hands but their work was high quality and you would never know it had been in an accident. It looks and runs beautifully again. Also, all repairs were completed in the time they estimated. I cannot say enough good things about the integrity, quality and professionalism of this shop. I transported my damaged Audi Q7 to the Caliber Collision Paragon location after doing much research online. The car was in an accident in Los Angeles, but I had a problem finding a State Farm and Audi certified collision shop there. Caliber Paragon is both, plus they had good reviews. My car took almost a month to repair, since there was very extensive damage, but it looks good as new and it was extremely clean inside and out, which was a nice plus. I would definitely recommend Caliber Paragon if you have a high end automobile since they do quality work. read more

I am writing this review having just left the shop. STAY FAR AWAY. I repeat - if you can arrange for repairs with another company (via insurance or privately - do NOT take your chances with this company). I'm providing a detailed account below of what happened today when I came to pick my car up for a repair. Here are the facts: 1. Brought my car in on Aug 31 for a repair with Caliber Collision. While driving I'd encountered debris in the road that somehow damaged the undercarrage of my car. I noticed that literally pieces from my car were dragging the ground and immediately called my insurance company to file a claim, and get a repair. 2. I was quoted that 1 week as the turnaround time for the repair (return date of 9/4). 3. My repair was ready one week later than project 9/10. Although this was inconvenient, and I had to rearrange my work schedule to pick up the car days later (9/18). 4. Today, 9/18 I pulled up to get my vehicle from the location at Crossroads in Cary. I paid the $478 fee for the services. To my surprise when I pulled out of the driveway and onto the highway, not only was my car driving terribly, but parts were literally dragging the ground. Luckily my sister accompanied me to the location and was able to turn on her hazard lights behind me and get us safely back to the Caliber location for a second look. 5. Distressed and annoyed that I'd payed $478 for this service and clearly my car was not safe to be on the road, I asked the attendant to get the technician and explain what was going on with my car. The attendant, Jenna disappeared to the back and did not return for about 20 minutes. I am at this point significantly late for work, AND am realizing that my car is likely still in need of repair. 6. Jenna finally reappeared and explained they had to put the car back up so they could see underneath and understand the problem. I came around back to consult with the technician and this is where we had real problems.... Me (to mechanic): I brought my car in for parts dangling from the undercarrage and issues from that.This hasn't been fixed...you had my car an extra week... what happened??? Mechanic: I put a clip in it. I don't know what else you want me to do.. Me: I'm not a mechanic, what does that mean, and was this done before and just didn't take, or did you miss this the first time? I don't understand how this was missed when this was literally the primary issue for the repair (I also paid for an alignment and other issues - but this was literally the primary reason for the repair). Mechanic (now visably upset): IT'S CALLED HUMAN ERROR Me: So let me get this straight, I brought my car in for this, you somehow said the car was ready but missed this key issue, and once I drove it out the issue was still present....and here I am trying to understand the problem and you're yelling...at ME? For the purposes of brevity I won't go into how poorly the conversation went after that. Jenna (the rep from front desk) appeared to be holding back or consoling this irate mechanic, while my sister and I stood their bewildered and quite frankly, frustrated at the lack of both technical skills and customer service. I walked around to the front, and requested that another attendant provide me with the name of the the mechanic, as I did NOT want him touching my vehicle ever again, but also for the purposes of filing a complaint. I was not granted that information (which is fine, as long as that information is provided to my insurance company for the claim - this man should NOT be working on cars!). Long story short- the complaint is still processing with Caliber Corporate (filed as of today) and I am in the process of pursuing recourse with my insurance company (refund or some sort of remdiation). Here's the kicker - after driving the car less than 5 miles down the road I noticed that now the alignment is off too! My hope is that this is not a huge deal, and that once my car is serviced by proper mechanics it can be fixed. But I will NOT be getting service from this lcoation at all, ever again. I highly discourage anyone from sending their car here. There are SO many other providers in the area, dont take the chance! It's not worth it, and good customer service (along with actual technical skills) matters! read more

The best repair shop I have ever been at. Granted they are one of the only that can repair aluminum car and trucks. That just means they want and strive to be the best in the area. They treat the customer amazing just like they call your rental company to come and pick you up when your done dropping your vehicle off. It shocks me that I get an update on my Ford F-150 via text or phone call at least once a day. I'm in great hands. They all are great people there treat you like a king honestly with this process because we all know it's a stressful part of life. read more

I had an unfortunate mishap with my Tesla and it was sent to this shop. They took 4 weeks before they even ordered parts. 2 months before the part came in (Tesla's fault). When they went to do the repair they found that they needed to order more parts, which then took another 2 months. When I finally get the car back, the touchscreen and the TPMS sensors no longer work after they've had my car for 5 months. read more

First, they are extremely pleasant people. The environment was spotless. They were even changing out soiled floor mats when I arrived. It was impressive at how far they went to be clean and professional in behavior. My social interactions were on par with what you would expect from a high quality company, and I felt very comfortable leaving my vehicle in their hands. That is the nicest thing I can say about this particular branch. My experience as a customer went as follows... At the suggestion of Audi, I took my vehicle to them because they were "Audi Certified", and I chose them over reputable companies despite being significantly higher in costs than the other two quotes because of Audi's recommendation. I took my car in on a Friday morning. I got the quote that day, and decided to go ahead and pay the amount in full to help them out. They said it would take a week to get the part in and install, repair another spot on the car and repaint. Rick said that I could pick the car up the following Friday. I called them Friday to double check, and they told me that it would be early the following week. I let "early next week" roll on by, and I called them back the following Wednesday. They assured me it would be ready Thursday midmorning to early afternoon. I called late afternoon Thursday, and they told me that the car needed to be detailed and would be ready early Friday morning and they would contact me when it was ready. (This is now one week past the deadline.) I waited and finally got a call late Friday that amazingly didn't afford me the necessary travel time to get the car, which I desperately needed at this point. I never asked them to do it, but they suggestion that they leave the key locked in the vehicle, and that I could pick it up after hours over the weekend. This was not my ideal situation, but I needed my vehicle desperately at this point, so I agreed. When I picked it up, the navigator system was completely dead. That little voice in my head told me not to drive the car off the lot, as I knew that would likely be a legal standing for them to not have to stand behind the work, but they seemed like such great people that I felt like they would stand behind their work, and that this would be something that they would resolve for me. This was my mistake, and I take full ownership of that mistake. They told me to take it to Audi and let them look at it, sense they don't work on that part of the car. I did, and despite the problem that the nav system emanated from the area that they worked on... Caliber decided that they would not pay to have the vehicle repaired. They left me with a $1,600.00 payment on top of being higher in estimation than anyone else that looked at the repairs of the car. Now did they knowingly break my car and cover it up... I don't know. I can't prove it, but I know that everything inside of the cabin was in working condition when I dropped the car off. The entire scenario is fishy at best, and I feel very set up. I wouldn't recommend Caliber Collision to anyone. Please, please, please do yourself a favor and learn from my mistake of trusting too much. Do not use this company. Do not trust this company. They do not stand behind their work despite their literature stating that "satisfaction is guaranteed". That's a lie. read more

Other than the cordial front desk ladies Nicole, Melanie, and Denise (only reason its not 1 star), the body shop personnel responsible for assessing damage and determining the level of repairs were unprofessional. The body shop assessor, with approval by USAA, did not want to bring the vehicle in out of the rain to get a more detailed look at the damage to be repaired. So a quick look led to the decision that only one of the two claims (storm damage) could be repaired without an additional field assessment by USAA for the second claim (numerous scratches and dents from being parked). With USAA, determined that they would only do the work for the storm damage claim. After waiting over a week to get the car in, the same assessor determined that they wanted to have me pay out of pocket for the second claim damage "because we can't fix the storm damage without fixing the entire door down to the scratches." When asked why this assessment was not made the first time around, no answers. Terrible. Unprofessional. Waste of time. read more
