I have been looking for decent, not-necessarily name brand tires, for a while. I considered Costco, Walmart, PepBoys, American's Tire, Firestone, Goodyear/Scher, BigO, Discount Tire Centesrs, and Sears. I wanted a place where I could get tires without pressure to do more services. I started looking for tires online at TireRack.com, and noticed that one of their local installers was receiving rave reviews. That installer was Econo Tire of Stanton. Since I was leaving town in a few days, I didn't have time to buy the tires online (since TireRack couldn't guarantee that the tires would arrive before I left town), so I went to Econo Tire directly. They told me that my car _did not_ need new tires, and that I should just be careful about driving. After I explained that I was concerned that I would have a blow-out while out of town (in Mexico, where I was headed), the owner suggested 2 new front tires, but I opted for 4 because my car is 4WD. In 15 minutes I drove out the door with 4 generic tires (I don't need name brand tires; my car is a commuter/grocery-getter car, not a sports car) at a very reasonable cost, including balancing and disposal fee. There was no pressure to upgrade to a fancier tire or rims, and no pressure to get any other services. I think I will return to Econo Tire for a wheel alignment . read more

My dad took his car here to change the oil and they checked his wheels lied to him saying he needed to change the whole brake caliper because one of the lug stud was missing. Wanted to charge him $375 instead of replacing the one stud. Sent my 17yr old sister here too to change her oil on her car and they supposedly changed it but a month after she got it serviced the oil was low again and what was left was dirty oil. DO NOT COME HERE THEY ARE SCAMMERS. THEY WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU IF YOU ARE NOT INFORMED. read more

I stopped by for four wheels alignment for my Evo today, it was very quick (roughly 45 mins) and reasonable pricing! My alignment was messed up on the rear prior to adjusting it and now it's back to 0.3 degree. Only recommendation I have for the shop would be, when loosen/tighten up bolts/nuts please use torque wrench instead of air gun to avoid stripping and test drive the car after the alignment is completed. I am the worst for running over things and getting things stuck in my tires and this place has genuinely helped me three times! Within three years I have been able to go back to econo tire on three different occasions for them to pull either a key, a screw and a giant bolt from my tires. Each time its only been $10 for each patch. One time they even took the time to check at the tire pressures in all my tires. Great experience and never have had a problem with my tires deflating or anything after they had patched them. Great place! read more

DONT BE FOOLED!!This place is TRASH!! just went in about an hour ago to get my tires mounted and balanced looked at the yelp reviews and decided to try it out since its got 5 stars good reviews and is local to me...DONT BE FOOLED! i went in about 5:15 and they close at six since it usually takes 30-45 minutes to do i did hear one guy tell the other if they had time and he said yes so me thinking yes! Cuz i didnt have to come back and theyre putting my tires on i pulled the car in they throw it up on jacks take all wheels off theyre doing there thing one was taking them off while the other was taking out the air and what not they dismantle the tires and mount the new ones balance them throw them back on the car i pay the guy...at that point i was so glad i got my tires put on cuz i was riding on slicks lol i pull up to a store(walmart gilbert&chapman) i start looking at the tires and i glance at my rims and they are all rashed up on the inner side of the wheel on the side of my lip i look at the others sure enough they got rashed too my rims dont look all that but they are 1200$ work cr kais i shoot back to the shop and theyre closed so i go in the morning and i tell them they rashed my wheels and they never denied it im pretty sure if they were there before they would have said something but i tell them its all four he said they would need the wheels for 2-3 days these are my only wheels so its difficult to find another pair but then the other guy tells me all theyre gunna do is sand and try to match the paint i told them that it would work temporarily cuz when i throw other tires on itll just come off they would have to get powder coated but he just kept telling me they would need the wheels for 2-3 days wich i cant spend $500 for some spares just to get my wheels fixed wich never should have been damaged so dont be fooled im a car enthusiast and dont recommend this place if you got real wheels and want them in good condition this place will damage them... read more

I came in for 2 front tire changes and they knew exactly what was the best for my car and the lifetime of my tires right away. Having bigger threads, low profile, all this good stuff. The staffs are really friendly. Each tire were around $75 brand new then I asked for car alignment which ran for $60. Total came out to $210. I bought my tires from Tire Rack and found Econo Tire recommended on their web site. Service is great...nice waiting area (free wifi) and to mount and balance took only 20 minutes. Price was $66 to mount and balance all four tires, including new valve stems and disposal. Scott is a great guy and will treat you right.
