I bought new wheels for my car, so I wanted to get the tires swapped onto the new wheels. I found them using TireRack's installer search, which they had a favorable rating. So... I get there (first come first served), and the manager was hassling me that my tires are 2 years old, and they need to be replaced. Then he tells me that Nokians (Z-line A/S) ride hard and I should put a more comfortable tire. Then he tells me I should buy Hankook tires. My thoughts: 1) Yes, they are 2 years old, and I want to wear them out before I buy new tires. Since I have a round-trip commute of 70 miles, it would be next year when I buy new tires. 2) My current tires ride pretty well. In fact, Nokian puts a special rubber compound under the tread rubber for improved ride comfort. 3) If I was to buy new tires from them, they better have a manufacture date code of one year or newer, otherwise, I would have harassed them back about it. 4) No Hankook tire interests me right now. If I was to use a Korean brand tire, I would use Nexen. Final thought, oh, the paint on one of my brand new wheels was chipped by the lug area, likely by accidentally banging a lug bolt on the wheel. read more

Ive gotten used tires here a few times for an amazing price, they always have the tires i need in stock, and i just purchased 4 brand new tires today, again at an GREAT price. They are quick and friendly, and honestly as long as i live in orange county, i wont ever go anywhere else for tires read more

Went in today, and had not one but two guys work on my tires, done in about 15 minutes. Yes, 15 MINUTES. And of course, you can watch everything going on, so no mystery as to what is happening. Tim is one smart cookie- he asked me if I had done some research on the tires i'm buying (which I had), in assuming why I chose the Nexxen over the Falken or Yokohama. Tim knows his tires. He knows them well. He also is just a really great customer service guy who gets it. He figured out I did research and let me have what I wanted and it was all very stress free. This place was also, on average, about $100 cheaper than any other place I found in OC. However, this place was so great about customer service I don't think I would have batted an eye if they were the same price or even more. Thanks Tim... Commercial Noise: Tires are black, round, rubber and you can buy them anywhere. What else is there to know? Through normal wear and tear, a tire's tread will wear down. When the tread is too worn, it's time to buy new tires. The number of miles you can expect to put on a set of tires before they reach this point varies widely. Some tire treads are quite soft; others are intended to endure extensive driving. When shopping for tires, this is yet another variable to consider to find the best match for your driving style. There are two ways to tell if your tread is still at a safe level. First, look for the tread-wear indicator bar that appears on all tires. This bar is set at a 90 degree angle to the tire and is 1/16 of an inch higher than the rest of the tire. When the bar is even with the tire, the tire needs to be replaced. The other way to check your tire's tread is to take a penny and insert Lincoln's head into the tread. If any of his hair is visible, the tread has been worn too low and the tire should be replaced. read more

So far seriously the best service! Been here twice & never spend more then a hour there! Recently went for a synthetic oil change got it done in 30 mins & their prices are very reasonable! read more

Great service. They've taken 10+ nails out of my tires and patched them for free over the past few years. They earned my business for whenever I need new tires. read more

Been coming here for over 2 yrs for all my tires needs. Service is fast and excellent, pricing is very fair. Bought some Falken tires from them as well for a really good price. I've been loving these tires! Thanks for the great service you guys provide. read more

I came to this shop after going to Firestone about a mile and a half away. I had multiple nails in my tire that Firestone said cant be patched. They recommended I buy a new tire at a high price. So I took my business elsewhere. Seen the great reviews about ECONO and decided to give them a try. 15-20 minutes later my tire was patched for a fraction of the cost of the recommended tire price at firestone. I came to Econo looking for a used tire to replace my old 1 and the technician told me it was patchable right away. Honest, fast, affordable work. Would definitely recommend coming here read more

I got my tires changed and they turned out great! Scott was really helpful and informative. I highly recommend this place and will be back again for another round of tires! read more

I came in today at aroud 10am (walk in, no appt), and bought tires for my pop up camper and tacoma. Very friendly staff, and awesome customer service. Steve and his techs were very helpful and I was out of the shop in 30 minuets flat. Highly recommend them for great prices and superb service. Thank you Econo Tires! Went in to get one of my tires balanced. After several attempts they discovered that the tire was "toast" due to the fact that we (my wife) drove a little too far while flat a few weeks earlier. Scott said it would need to be replaced and gave me a great deal on a used tire they had on hand. Only charged $35 for all they did, needless to say this is our new shop for any tire/suspension related issues. Thanks Scott! read more

Econo Tire - Tires Near Me - Stanton, California

Our front right tire developed a flat, so we stopped by here to get a path job done. It was a Monday afternoon and all but one of the bays was occupied. The guy had us pull up to the one empty bay and took the flat tire to assess. It took them less than 10 minutes to assess the tire for all possible holes, patch it, put it back, and refill the air on our spare before putting it back in the car. Great, fast service. The patch cost us $10 plus tip. read more

Took them 3 hours just to swap tires and sensors. Also the worker explained that he would not service my vehicle next time because they had a difficult time with the sensors even though it still wasnt done correctly because the sensor light came on as soon as I drove off the lot. So I guess that will be my last visit at this shop read more

This place is amazing. Super nice employees. Steve always takes really good care of me. I got a flat in Westminster put some air in it and drove all the way to them and passed a couple other tire places. That's how much I prefer them to any where else. Been going her for the last 5 and will continue to go here as long as possible. Keep up the amazing work! read more

First time here and after walking in, I was greeted by a very friendly lady who was available to help me out. She was very nice and helped me even though I really have no idea what size of tires or etc I needed. I assumed I needed 4 new tires because my mechanic simply said I needed new ones but after they looked at my tires they told me I only needed two!! I really appreciate their honesty. They could have easily taken advantage but they didn't. What great people. I love the fact that this appears to be a family owned place. They were fast and efficient and got me in and out quickly. read more

Love this place. Great service, friendly staff, and the most important is Unbeatable Price!!!!

I have been coming here for years!! These guys are awesome and they give the best prices and advice if needed!! Love them!! I recommend this place to anyone who is any issues with their car. They're always willing to help. I am a satisfied customer every time. read more

Years later and still going to Econo for tires. Tim is great and the prices are unmatched. I like it because unlike other tire places I've been to they don't try to upsell you or lock you into whatever they have available. I'll be going here for years to come read more

This place is great! My passenger front tire kept losing air, so after reading the reviews on Yelp; I decided to check this place out. I went in and explained my situation to Scott at the front desk and he told me I can park my car at one of the bays in the far corner. Within 5 minutes of parking my car, Tony came to help me. He had me turn my handle all the way to the right and told me to backup slowly to inspect the whole tire for me. He showed me what appeared to look like a nail, but when we looked closer it was 2 heavy duty staples inside the tire. Tony said it will be $10 to patch it up and he fixed everything in 5 minutes and also made sure the tire pressure was back to normal. The whole process only took 10 minutes and I only paid $10. I love family businesses and how they take care of people! I will definitely be coming back for future tire needs. Thank you Econo Tires! Keep up the good work! read more

Had some work done on my truck and was very pleased with the quality of work, pricing and speed of work performed. I was quoted an outrageous amount from another shop for repairs that Econo Tire found that I didn't need at all. Thanks to Jerry's conscientious and fair analysis, I was saved thousands. I highly recommend this repair shop. They're a full-service repair shop that honestly care about getting their customers safely back on the road without overcharging them. Not many that can claim that level of integrity anymore. As long as I'm still in this area, I'll continue to take my repair issues to these people-they really are the best! read more

Purchased tires from Goodyear.com, selected this dealer for installation. Once I arrive at my appointment I park and there's no acknowledgement from anyone. Ok, that's fine. I make my way inside and alert the cashier that I have an appointment, he ask me for what.. Automatically I think, "shouldn't you know!" I let him know for four tire installations, he lets me know he has no idea. I show him my email and he says he NEVER got the order, after 2 minutes his memory comes back and tells me that HE RETURNED them. I question him and says billed and some bs. Clearly buddy if you're doing business with Goodyear you should know what's going on. Then he offers me "HIS" same tires for less! I don't know if he missed out on his morning coffee but this man wasn't functioning at 11am. read more

These guys are fast! Went there for tire swap. I like to save money, I buy my tires from Amazon and get them mounted and balance here. $15/tire, they're friendly and quick; exactly what you need. read more

I live close to this place and it stands out from the many other tire places on Katella. Of course I yelped it before going and it had good reviews, and Im glad to say it stands up to its reputation. This review comes late, I came in a few months ago for 4 new tires. I had done some shopping around before coming by, and when I finally did and asked how much for a set they immediately offered the lowest price of all the places I searched. And the gentlemen immediately knew off the top of his head which ones would be good for my car and what I was looking for. The staff is welcoming and friendly, the waiting room is air conditioned with cable, and best of all they don't drag their feet! You are in and out! Which is all I really ask for. Love this place, I'll definitely be back. read more

First time using Econo Tire, and I am impressed. They offered a fair price, excellent work with an attention to detail. Even got my oil changed, while getting tires. If you want an honest tire place, fair price, and trained staff, this is the place for you. read more

I was looking for a place that could sell me tires, brakes, and install them all too. Tried America's tire first but that means I would get tires installed first and then go somewhere else to install brakes. Technically I would have to visit 3 stores to get my stuff done BUT I ran into this company and boy was I happy with the results and I got everything done there for a very reasonable price. The owner is very kind and definitely pays attention to detail. I got OEM brakes and great Michelin tires. I had my rims and lug nuts powder coated and I was scared the torque wrench would strip the coating even w me telling them But not even a little bit of stripping. Super happy and to think that some people have put weird reviews that kind of scared me, I don't regret taking the chance and you shouldn't either! Great service very low prices. Will be coming here for everything my car needs. read more

I have been looking for decent, not-necessarily name brand tires, for a while. I considered Costco, Walmart, PepBoys, American's Tire, Firestone, Goodyear/Scher, BigO, Discount Tire Centesrs, and Sears. I wanted a place where I could get tires without pressure to do more services. I started looking for tires online at TireRack.com, and noticed that one of their local installers was receiving rave reviews. That installer was Econo Tire of Stanton. Since I was leaving town in a few days, I didn't have time to buy the tires online (since TireRack couldn't guarantee that the tires would arrive before I left town), so I went to Econo Tire directly. They told me that my car _did not_ need new tires, and that I should just be careful about driving. After I explained that I was concerned that I would have a blow-out while out of town (in Mexico, where I was headed), the owner suggested 2 new front tires, but I opted for 4 because my car is 4WD. In 15 minutes I drove out the door with 4 generic tires (I don't need name brand tires; my car is a commuter/grocery-getter car, not a sports car) at a very reasonable cost, including balancing and disposal fee. There was no pressure to upgrade to a fancier tire or rims, and no pressure to get any other services. I think I will return to Econo Tire for a wheel alignment . read more

Best place for tires and all your auto needs. Bin going here for years Tim and his crew are the awesome. If they can't fix it they will refer you to another honest shop. Would not go anywhere but here. Thank you for your great work and cheap pricing!!! read more

I stopped by for four wheels alignment for my Evo today, it was very quick (roughly 45 mins) and reasonable pricing! My alignment was messed up on the rear prior to adjusting it and now it's back to 0.3 degree. Only recommendation I have for the shop would be, when loosen/tighten up bolts/nuts please use torque wrench instead of air gun to avoid stripping and test drive the car after the alignment is completed. I would definitely come back for more services in the future. read more

I'm so happy I found this shop! Purchased four used tires about two months ago. Recently got a stupid nail in one of the tire! Went back to the shop and Scott took care of the situation and now I'm rolling on four solid tires again :) read more

This will be my 2nd review as econo-tire's dedication to their customers should be commended. I don't know anything about cars.period. and so, when I saw the brake light flashing on my car, I was advised to go buy a brake fluid. Because this is my go-to place for my car problems, I immediately rushed in hoping to buy a break fluid but to my dismay, They unfortunately do not sell one... I was ready to leave when the manager offered to check my car first, found out that it really is just low with break fluid and asked one of the mechanics to pour in some of their stocks. I happily leaped out of my car again, ready to pay for the services but the manager just smiled and told me not to worry about it. Another happy experience by an avid customer! will definitely continue to come here even when I leave far now. Can I just give you 10 stars?? :) read more

They were really nice and I had my 2 tires sent there for them to put on (tirerack.com) and the cost of the alignment and the labor was only $85. AND they didn't try to pressure me into getting anything else done like most car places would (because I'm a gal) which I really appreciated. I will SO come back here for my next 2 tires. read more
