I had two nails in my tire. I asked them to patch from the inside. They patched from the outside, overcharged, and I noticed my entire car wobbling after the service on the freeway. The tire continued leaking. I went back to them, and they refused to take any responsibility. I just went to costco to get new tires. Please avoid this place. You can do much much better. read more

Came here to get a flat tire fixed. I had been here about a year ago to get new tires on my previous car so I figured id come here again. They did a quick job and provided reasonable prices with good customer service. They said It'd probably be a good idea to get the tires aligned since they were all worn out from one side so Ill definitely be coming back here for that and for any other tire needs I'll be having in the future. read more

I ordered a set of tires online for my Camaro ZL1. I went to the shop today with the tires in car. The technicion came to me immediately when I parked in front of shop. He checked my tires and ask me drove my car into the garage. I went to front desk and pay the fees. Wait a while, 20 minutes maybe. Job was done. I drove home with new tires installed. I was so disappointed that I got ripped off by them. I was taking all my family's cars to them, getting oil changed, buying new tires, and getting repaired. One day, my car was making the warning noise from rear brakes. So, I took my car to them and asked to replace the break pads. Then, they told me that the rotors need to be replaced , too. So, I let them replace them. However, after the repair, I was hearing the squeaking noise from rear brake area when I made turns. I drove few months hoping the noise would disappear, but it was getting worse. So, I went back and asked them to check. And what they said to me was "Who did this brake job? the noise is coming from rear brakes." I told them "You guys did.", and showed them the receipt. They worked on it, but the noise did not disappear. So, I went back again, but they could not solve the problem and told me that they can't find the causes. I had no choice. I took my car to other shop. Then, they told me that the rotors were not replaced and they were not resurfaced correctly. That is why it was making the noise. After the resurface was done, the noise disappeared. I will not recommend this place at all. Better be careful with them. read more

This is the best tire place I have been to. Period. I called ahead to check how much it would cost to mount my stock tires to replace my wheels. They gave me a fair price and I came in the next day. I was the first customer there and I was helped immediately. I waited in the clean waiting room and they were done faster than expected. He gave me an awesome deal and I will be sure to come back for my next project car. read more

I'm still trying to process what just happened to me. I was referred by TireRack.com (my brother, a mechanic, swears by the site). Checked the yelp reviews and figured I'd give it a shot. My back tires were bald and my bank account was low. I made the 20 minute drive from Seal Beach to Stanton, found the place easily and parked. Within 30 seconds, someone was ready to help me out, asking what needed to be done. I gave him my price limitation and said gimme the tires you would put on your own car. He picked some out at $80 a piece, right where I can afford. I set up camp in the waiting room, having had admittedly too much experience getting tires put on, and was fully prepared for an hour long wait. I barely had time to go to the bathroom before they were done. 15 minutes after I parked, I was driving out of the parking lot. Did I mention they also rotated my tires (free of charge) in this amount of time? Or that nobody tried to upsell me anything (like TPMS which is such a waste of time and money)?Or that all the employees I dealt with were incredibly nice and happy? Cuz yeah. That's not common at ANY car place. They must be superhuman. Never going anywhere else for tires. They just turned a dentist-like experience into a comfortable, pleasant 15 minutes. No Kenny G required. read more

They had the tire I needed and it was cheap. Then they were able to patch current tire for very cheap. I was in and out in like 17 mins and it looked busy. A pleasant experience read more

I used Google & yelp here to find a good place to purchase tires for my 2005 scion tc & all of the feedback helped me decide to come here!!! Great Service!!! As soon as I pull up asked what I need .... Checked what they had & in less than 30 minutes later I walked out the door with 4 brand new tires & price was fair beat 3 other places I checked previous.... I'm so glad I came here.... I was referred to Econo Tire in Stanton by my long time friend who works at a prominent dealership. I asked for Tim and he immediately ordered the tires I had decided upon, had them there in 90 mins (while I went off to have a nice lunch) and upon return had them installed, balanced, etc in less than 60 minutes at an incredibly low low price. I will definitely refer my friends to this wonderful business. It was not close to where I live, but well worth the drive. They were very courteous, fast, knowledgeable, and inexpensive. The showroom is large and clean and the waiting lounge is quiet with comfortable chairs, too. read more

Wow, this place hooked me up! A mechanic told me I needed new tires so I came in and asked one of the workers to look at my tires to see if I needed them all replaced and he was very honest with me, telling me where it was balding and asking me how often I drive/whether or not I drive freeways, etc. There was no pressure to buy all four tires but he said that he recommended it and he seemed so genuine and honest that I went with new tires. He gave me a great price for all four tires + alignment. I knew that I need the alignment but was avoiding getting this done for while ahahah so when I heard the price I went for it! They also have a waiting room with super fast internet, a TV and very comfortable seats. Water and guava was also offered to me! I'm thrilled that I have been met with such awesome service for being a new customer and I will be back! read more

I purchased tires online, a first for me, and had them delivered to Econo Tire for installation. The installation price was very competitive and i was pleasantly surprised that the price quoted online was exactly what I was asked to pay. No upselling, haggling or waiting. After being told my appointment was canceled because the tires I ordered didn't come in, I desperately called around hoping for good news. The phone was answered and after talking to a receptionist (?), Scott answered the phone and I was told he would call me back because he was with a customer ATM. I gave my specifications, price limitation and desperation and was told there wasn't anything in stock today and it would have to be the soonest... Then he said: "Wait, how far are you from the shop? Can you come in in about 45 minutes to an hour? I'll have a driver pick up for you today" I was ecstatic. Arrived at the premise 45 minutes later and as I parked, a truck with my tires pulled up and started unloading my goods. It's nice to see honest business owners did not give me the run around to made it seem like he was doing me a huge favor by telling me he had to pick up product. My car was up on Jacks within 5 minutes and not more than half an hour later, I was in the office paying for said services. I left at almost exactly an hour after I pulled up (good conversation with Steve (?) and Scott in the office) TOO LONG DIDN'T READ: -Prompt communication -Great customer service -Honest -Great personalities. -Knowledgeable read more

These guys are great! Super friendly, helpful, fast and their waiting area is clean. Got a few sets of tires here. "Take-offs" once because they were recommended and super cheap compared to the tires right off the shelf for my 02Honda Accord. Those bridgestone tires lasted a while! The next set I purchased were fairly priced and they were Toyo tires. *I didn't do MUCH shopping around since they're local and I'll often times pay for the convenience/service but I think Costco's price is right around the same and sometimes better -- depending on what you're looking for. A super plus to this business is that they've hooked me up with tire patches several times. Damn you Garden Grove and your freaking street nails!!! Got 4 tires mounted & balanced ($50) and an alignment ($60) on my '09 Prius for a grand total of $110, which is very reasonable and affordable. Another local shop was charging $10 bucks more for an alignment and you needed a coupon too! They are friendly, professional, and provide expert advice. They do not try to upsell or rush you with anything extra. Service was fast too...took about 20 min for the tire swap and another 40 min for the alignment. There's a lounge there while you wait with leather chairs, complimentary computer, tv, mags, and free wifi. Will definitely come back here for future tire services. Docking 1 star for forgetting to put back the valve caps on two of my tires. read more

I got in there between 4-430p. I called ahead to see if they had four tires. When I got there, they were honest with me and said I only had to replace 2 tires. Price is decent and competitve, even it is few dollars more compare to 714 tires. I chose to come here since it gets all 4-5 stars reviews and I am Vietnamese so I want to support VNese service. One thing which confuse me is the boss looks around 30s but the store states it has openned since 1976. I got all 4 Hankook tires 215/45/18 for $500 and $50 for alignment service; my alignment has been off terribly. The tires look good, service is fast and friendly, but there is a misunderstanding between Tri (the guy who did my alignment) and the boss. The boss asks me to buy a new camber kits to avoid my tires get wear out too quickly, but I dont know how the camber kits look, I come back and talk with Tri (the boss, Scott, stepped out) and he said I dont need to do that because all new car (sport maybe) have same setting to get more wheel control. I believe Tri more, so I wont buy the new camber kits and hope it will be right decision. For the alignment, I will need to drive for little longer before knowing it helps on my tire wear out or not. read more

I didn't buy tires or wheels there, but it looks like they have plenty. Instead I called and asked if they could perform a wheel alignment on my car since I just had my front struts and mounts replaced, they said "sure, come on down". Got there, they said they could do it, no problem, and they gave me a price. But once they saw my car, an old 2000 BMW wagon, they told me it was more, and it'll take about 45 minutes. Hmmm, my internal bait-and switch-o-meter was heading into the red. So I chalk it up to extra work involved. BMW says that there needs to be people weight in the car to align it properly. So I'll bite. Politely I tell them okay, and that I would be happy to sit it for them if they need extra weight in the car, and please give me the minimum BMW toe-in so my tires to last longer (read this last tip from other BMW techs online). Boom! the guy gives me back my keys and says he can't align it and that I have to take it to the dealer. Sorry, bye-bye. I was kinda speechless, so I said "okay, thanks..." and left. Never had this happen before. Makes me wonder, what If I hadn't said anything? Would the alignment be any good at all? Do they know what they're doing? Why charge me extra and then give me the brush-off? You can decide for yourself, but I don't have a warm fuzzy feeling about the whole experience. Two stars for telling me to go to elsewhere for an alignment. read more

I usually research my purchases a month in advance before I buy them. I always seem to find better deals and find better purchases when I do this. I am also an avid online shopper but I took a stab at getting quotes by best-rated tire shops on Yelp. My thought process was: support our community if the price was right. Or at least reasonably priced to online prices with shipping and installation. I was looking for certain tires for my car and was getting out-the-door quotes from many shops. Scott gave me a great price compared to other shops and was fine with me getting quotes from other shops. He quoted me quite a difference from other shops and sorta close to online but online didn't include labor, removal, and installation. I called him back and he proceeded to order my tires. I asked, "How much do I need to deposit?" and he told me, "Do not to worry about it". Well alrighty then! After getting my info and hanging up, he called back 1-2 hours later and said my wheels will be in tomorrow afternoon. I can come in anytime. I told him Saturday. Showed up to the shop with 2 1/2 rows of cars waiting to be serviced on a Saturday morning. Scott greeted me in a friendly manner. He remembered my name and the price he gave me, awesome. I expected a wait and Scott apologized. I told him I expected it from what I saw in the parking lot. From the waiting room, I looked out the window and noticed the shop allowed the owners to stand outside and observe the process (which was a good sign) . The workers were busy but efficient. My car got new tires and I proceeded to inspect the dates. I was skeptical about his prices and how fast he got them. They were manufactured very late 2014 which was great! Scott asked if I was happy and I said, Very. While paying, I was curious about the business and asked a few questions. Scott spoke fondly of his business and staff. I'm not sure if he's the manager but he sure acted like it. He said It's a family oriented staff that has their differences but in the end, they're family. I am glad I didn't buy these tires online. I rather work directly with the business. No middleman. Thanks again Scott and crew of Econo tires. tl;dr great attitude and business. I would gladly support them than buy online. Scott is great to work with and he has pride in his business. No deposit and staff is efficient. Business can get busy but you can't blame them for being that good. read more
