Wow. I just had the worst Yelp service experience with Steve. I hired Steve to fix my custom wheel on my Porsche. At first his communication was good and he showed up on time. The finished product was not acceptable and the way he handled the situation was worst. The color was noticeably lighter and the lip was rounded instead of flat - unlike the rest of the wheel. Instead of trying to fix the wheel Steve told me he had to pickup his son and the wheel could not be fixed better. I proceeded to tell him I've fixed these wheels 3 times with other mobile services. Also, being in the auto industry I know what can be done. The key point, the same set of wheels has been fixed 3 times preciously by mobile wheel services!! He was obviously in a hurry to leave so I asked if he could come back. He says I'm too far. Then tries to negotiate pay for the job. After I repeatedly asked him to fix it he insults me and says you're not going to pay for this job. Not once did I mention not paying for the job. I know for a damn fact these reviews have to be fake or customers that were given a discount for a perfect review...especially the ones that says he is professional. 1. Called at 9:49am to request a quote for a curb rash. He never answered so left a detailed voicemail explaining my situation and asked to call back at his earliest convenience. 2. Never got a call back but a text asking, "send me some pictures." (After 2 hours) 3. Sent a pic and he responds (3.5 hours later) with, "where are you located?" I respond and then have to ask him for a quote because there was no follow up 4. He responds (2 hours later) with only the quote...so I have to ask when I can make an appointment. He responds with, "sometime next week." ... After spending all day trying to just make an appointment, he tells me that he cant say because he's waiting for another customer in my area to get back to him....its been one week later and still no follow up. The three other businesses I reached out to were on average $20 more but they all responded within 1-2 hours with pricing, info, and available dates. Save yourself the frustration with this guy and just pay $20 more to fix your rims the very next day with the other guys. This guys a joke. read more
