((Saturday 1pm)) While driving I got a flat tire I managed to drive into this location. I have never been here before so I was expecting to have to buy a new tire. To my surprise a worker named Daniel helped me out. He was super friendly and got the job done fast. He was able to patch it up. He is bilingual so was able to speak to my mother and I. We literally were there for about 15 minutes. If you guys ever need a patch up I definitely recommend this place. Cross streets are katella and magnolia. Service 10/10 Location 7/10 kinda hidden in the back Price 8/10 As a female i really do recommend this place for tire fixing. Service here was better that I've had in a long while. read more

Scammers. I usually go here to get cheap used tires. Got a flat last Tuesday (9/3/24), went to Reuben's and they charged me $20. By Friday (9/6/24) the same tire was flat. I went to go get it repatched and they said I owed another $20 because it was a new flat on the same tire. Since the patch on Tuesday I have driven my car from Reuben's shop to my driveway and then found my tire flat on Friday.. the drive is about 1.5 miles Honestly just pay more and go elsewhere. These guys are amazing, we hit a razor driving on the freeway and they took us in a little after their closing time. We were in and out in about 10 minutes, razor taken out and hole repaired. I went there on a Sunday because I knew I was in need of some new tires and there wasn't a line when I arrived. I was long overdue for 4 new tires. Initially, I thought to get some used ones but realized with the amount of driving those would be done in less than a year. Rueben was great and transparent. Which I appreciate and respect. He not only allowed me to watch the process but also taught me a few things I didn't know about tires and what to look for. I love how quickly they were able to change out all 4 tires. I have a text thread a mile long of how the "owner" Reuben dodged and ignored my text messages after selling me a used tire with a bubble in it,... after weeks of asking him to show me proof he had 2 good tires to switch out..because It was causing issues on my car... His employees put the WRONG tires on my vehicle and caused alignment issues, I have to use my emergency jack to fix it myself.... his employees inflated all my tires to 50psi.... my vehicle requires it to be inflated to 38psi... this would clearly cause issues with tread wear in the middle of the tire. Obviously these CLOWNS dont know what they are doing there. I would "steer" far away from this shop. Go to a reputable tire center that will take care of your car and not CAUSE you more problems than you need. #clownshoes read more

Go here if you want to get molested and gropped. My experience here was so traumatizing I'm still in shock. I went to Ruben's tires alone because it was an errand of mine to take care of after my tires were taken care of as soon as I was paying an employee of theirs tried to pull my top down and tried to kiss me I quickly told him no and left in a hurry. Had come here before, needed two tires. The guy put on two mismatched used tires and charged me $90 and didn't give me change. The next day I got a flat near a pep boys and was luckily able to pull in. They replaced the same tire with a brand new tire for $40. So it was $5 less for a brand new tire at pep boys. I had one flat tire and was having a hard time finding a tire shop that sold a used tire 215/45/17, quality brand, and lots of tread life % remaining. I called 10 shops around the area and Ruben's Tires is the only that fit my criteria. The phone number you see on Yelp goes to the guy's cell phone. So I was able to negotiate with him a fair price via text. I bought from them a Yokohama with 80% tread remaining, which I confirmed using the penny trick test when I arrived. The guy speaks English well and we were able to transact very quickly. The entire process took 15 mins and they let me stand around to watch them work. I paid an extra $10 to have my tires rotated and balanced. It's usually free if you buy a whole new set of 4 tires but since I was here for just one used tire, that's fair. The only downside is they charge an extra 8% when paying with credit card. The overall experience was great and they didn't try to upsell me on anything like the horror stories you hear elsewhere. read more

I was texting him about specific tires I found a post for on OFFER UP, a set. He told me he had them so I told him I'd be there when they open. I live in east Los Angeles so this was a drive (26 minutes). I woke up at 6:30am, left by 7:15am. Got to the shop around 7:50am and saw someone taking out tires... I asked him about the tires so he went to look for them. 1 minute later he comes out to tell me that they don't have them but he can piece a set (of mixed brands) together. The whole fu**ing point of this trip was because it was a set! I told him about who I had been in contact with and he said yeah that's Ruben. So I told him that this is BS and I would write a horrible review to let people know the truth. He got me to go there regardless of him having the tires or not to get the sale.
