Our Liquid-amber tree lost a big branch recently and it looked like the tree might be suffering from some rot. I wanted a certified Arborist to look at it, and a friend recommended Luis and his company. He came on Monday at the exact time he said he would and gave me a good assessment of the tree, a fair quote and said he could come two days later to trim it. Excellent experience from beginning to end - highly recommended. Ecology just completed our job, and we couldn't be happier. The scope was trimming two fruitless pear trees and a large Canary Island date palm tree. For the estimate, Luis arrived on time, listened carefully, and asked questions to define the basic details of the scope as a basis for the estimate. He agreed to schedule our work for the next available date while we continued to collect estimates from other tree service providers. We subsequently found that the estimate was competitive and notified them we would like to proceed. The crew arrived promptly on the scheduled work day. The first order of business for Luis was to meet with us to see if we had any questions or any changes to the scope. We had no issues and the crew got right to work. The workers were very patient and thoughtful as they trimmed the trees, and they communicated with us at key points to discuss the pros and cons of additional trimming.
