PSA BRIDES: I strongly recommend against taking your wedding dress here for cleaning. I dropped off my wedding dress in September 2025 and paid $350 for cleaning. I was told it would be ready for pickup in November. After following up in December, I was told they needed a few additional weeks due to extra cleaning required. As mid-January 2026 approached, I reached out again for an update and contacted them 4 separate times with no response. I eventually went to the store in person, where they told me it would be "a few more weeks." In February 2026, I finally picked up my dress -- and it had the exact same stains as when I dropped it off, plus new rust stains that were not there before. I immediately pointed this out. The cashier told me, "it's because you only paid for cleaning." I responded that the dress clearly wasn't clean and I didn't understand how it could look worse after being in their possession for nearly five months. I was then brushed off so they could help the next customer, denied a refund, and not allowed to speak with a supervisor. Terrible experience. Please learn from my mistake and avoid this business. Update: after having to call several times I was told today that they haven't even started cleaning it yet after having it for 10 days because they are out of the cleaner they use on cashmere. Never bothered to let me know. The absolute worst customer service. Hard to make a 1 star review worse but they did. Ticket said it would be ready an entire week later which is already a long time for the prices they charge. I called twice today to see if it was ready because my ticket says to pick up today after 5pm. Was told I'd get a call around 2pm to tell me if my jacket was back from the "plant" yet. Never got a call. Called them again and was put on hold for a long time while they tried to reach the plant to be told the plant is already closed for the day and will he closed all weekend and to check back Monday...maybe it will be ready then. A less than 1 star experience on every level so far and I haven't gotten my blazer back yet so maybe the dry cleaning is decent. This reminds me why I don't get stuff dry cleaned anymore...it's disappointing how little businesses care these days about doing what they are paid for. read more

Have been using eco clean since 2012. We have always had great service and love their pick up option.

I had 3 pieces cleaned: a 2-piece suit and a dress shirt. First, the delivery didn't work out. The delivery driver tried calling me from an unknown number during the work day, but didn't leave a message and didn't try a 2nd time. There was also no delivery window provided, so I couldn't be on the lookout during certain times. Further, there's a set of EcoClean lockers in my building that supposedly are for pick up and drop off, but the delivery driver couldn't access them. Why? Second, when I picked up my items on Saturday, the shirt was clearly still dirty, with spots on the collar. I pointed this out to the person working that day and they said they could get the shirt rush cleaned to be ready on Monday. When I picked the shirt up on Monday, the spots remained. The person working on Monday said they could put it through another cleaning cycle, but I needed the shirt so had to take it as is. No offer of a refund was provided. read more

I took my car cover in to be cleaned. They have cleaned on three previous occasions charging me 40 dollars each time. This time they charged me 76 dollars and wanted me to sign a waiver. I went in to talk to them and didn't sign a waiver. Told them to just return it. They went ahead and cleaned it charging me the 76 dollars. They said they needed to use a biggermachine justifing the charge that way. Never will I use them again. Having to use a bigger machine when they didn't have to on three previous occasions is not truthful. I won't deal with a dishonest company. BEWARE! read more

They severely shrunk my two favorite reformation dresses that are now unwearable. I have yet to hear back about a resolution or refund, it has been over a month of me trying to solve this. Used this company in the past and they did a good job. I made the mistake of bringing a vintage quilt to them. A few days later, they said it was not ready due to stains they were still trying to get out and so they were giving it a 2nd cleaning. I went to pick it up and the clerk said "did anyone call you about it" no I said. I took it home, in the bag it felt about 30% lighter. Fuzz was flying off of it when I opened the bag in the store to take a peek. So they knew they damaged it, but no one had the decency to call and tell me. I took it completely out of the cleaning bag today and it is wrecked! I cannot believe that after the cleaning tech started cleaning that they did not stop and return it to me and not proceed any further. You can see that all the cleaning they did ripped the slight weak tears into giant tears and the feathers in some sections are 100% gone! That is why there was "fuzz", it was the missing feathers coming out of the bag. This quilt belonged to my grandparents. DO NOT TAKE PRECIOUS ITEMS TO THEM! They did not charge me for the "cleaning" I will be seeking a payment for the damage they did to it. read more

Ecoclean took over my local dry cleaner that I had been using for some time for cleaning and pressing my husband work shirts and pants. Several months ago when I went to pick his items up all of the blue shirts had large crunchy stains on them. I had them send them back with no improvement in the stained shirts. I sent them back at least two times and then began to reach management to get a resolve to the issue. I could not get anyone to call me back. I finally was able to get through to a manager "Jeff" no one would give me his last name! by calling the north lamar facility he said he looked at the shirts and said something to the effect " It looks like you husband got glue on his shirts" STOP! I let him know I was not going to go there! My husband does not work with glue, he drives in a truck all day and would have not opportunity get into glue, not to mention glue on all 7 of the shirts I dropped off! Mr. Jeff said he would take one of the shirts to have cleaned. He said he would call me back on Tuesday. I did not hear back from him, so I called him back about a week later. He did not get the stains out. He went onto to talk about how the old company must have been using starch that is illegal to use and also dangerous. I pointed out that I had not had any problems with stains on the shirts until now. I let him know that this issue was lingering far too long, I needed to get this resolved. I asked that the shirts be replaces and we agreed I would send Mr. Jeff the cost of the shirts which i did on 9/15/2025. I have reached out three more time asking for a resolve and still have not had anyone reach out to me. I must add the site staff have been amazingly understanding and have always given me great service. It is unfortunate that since EcoClean took them over they are no longer able to provide decent service. read more

I cannot recommend them. About 3 weeks ago I brought in 2 cashmere blouses to be cleaned. I think it was on the 27th of September. I was told they would be ready by Friday the 29th. I stopped by on Sunday the 1st of October. They had 1 blouse ready, but the other wasn't. The cashier said it was still at the cleaning facility, and he would call me back the next day to update me. He never called me back. I waited about a week and came back to see them, but they still didn't have the blouse. I was told it was still at the facility. On October 12, I went in and ask to know what had happened to my blouse. They can't find it. She contacted a few people by phone, and told me a manager would call me back the next day at 10am. On the 13th, I waited until afternoon, and as nobody called me back, I called them. They tried to transfer me to a manager, but the line rang and nobody picked up. I called again, was told, again, that they would contact a manager directly and have them contact me, but nothing. So, I'm left to conclude that they lost the blouse and do not want to deal with it. They're supposed to be open until 4 on Saturday. Showed up at 3:30 to pick up items I needed for the night, and they're closed with no sign up about if/when they'll reopen. My clothes were not ready at the day/time they told me to pick them up. They had been dry cleaned but had not been brought from the plant. I was leaving town the next day for a family member's funeral and needed the clothes. The person at the counter was polite and tried to be helpful. She told me she would message the manager so that they could call early the next day and hopefully get my clothes for me before I left town. The next morning they didn't call so I called the store around 8:30 and several more times before I left town. They never called me and never answered the phone. I usually go to my trustworthy spot that is reasonably priced. However, I'm over 9 months pregnant and needed a more convenient door pick up dry cleaning service this time around. I created an account and scheduled a pick up which was available a couple days out. I never got an email confirming the pick up so I thought that was odd. I made sure to place my pile of dry cleaning clothes on my front step in a Nordstrom bag (as a first time customer I had no garment bag) at 8 am during pick up. Again, since I never got an email - I wasn't sure when to expect the drop off. It took them a couple days to get my clothes back. Overall, the quality of the service was good. They delivered my clothes in a garment bag with a receipt. The bill was twice as much as I am used to paying but you are paying for the green service and delivery in the base price. I am docking stars for communication. I logged into my account and didn't see an order logged nor the bill. Information seems to be dispersed throughout the customers lifecycle. I did get some texts with updates a few minutes before drop off and knew the total since two separate receipts were attached to the garment bag. read more

Terrible dry cleaning service. Ruined and or lost many times and can not believe we gave this cleaning service a second try

If I could warn all of Austin to avoid one single shop, it would be this one. I've made two attempts to use Ecoclean and both were awful experiences. In both times, they showed up on the wrong days to pickup my delivery. Once a day later and once three days later. The first time, one of my white pieces of clothing came back stained from their cleaning process. The second time, I had a piece of clothing go missing. The missing clothing was frustrating but what was the most frustrating was them not caring at all. It took seven full days of back and forth calling for someone to get back to me. The manager took three days off knowing this was a lingering issue and not calling me (or my assistant) back. On the phone they said they couldn't help either. Just a bypassy, "there's nothing we can do." Please don't use this place. You will waste more than just money, but also your time with all the going back and forth. read more

After the ice storm left me without power and water for a week I needed some help tending to my piles of laundry. I loathe doing laundry! However, here they do wash n fold for 1/2 off your first time. Well, my first time had many pounds of loads of clothes. I am so grateful for the PH detergent for my sensitive skin. The organizing fold and way they separated each category of my clothing from socks to workout clothes to tops with graphics to tops with sleeves. So perfect! 10/10 would recommend abs return! read more

I am new to Austin and this cleaners is close to my work. I like the idea of an earth friendly process. However, If you have nice or expensive clothing that requires dry cleaning, I strongly recommend NOT using Eco Cleaners. They are not really a dry cleaner and their process will ruin and shrink some fine fabrics. I have used this cleaner 3 or 4 times in the past two months. Most recently, my mother's vintage cashmere Burberry jacket was shrunken at least two sizes and the lining was hanging out of the sleeves and the bottom of the jacket. It no longer feels soft like cashmere, but feels like very rough wool. Some of the fabric looks threadbare. It appears someone made an attempt to fix a threadbare patch by using a little piece of fabric cut from the hem of the cuff to make a patch. This created a lumpy patch on the sleeve, and the cuff was sewn up sloppily with the lining at or below the edge. I am only guessing what happened. The clerk agreed that something odd had occurred. No repairs or alterations had been requested, only cleaning. At the same visit, my beautiful Ellen Tracy wool and angora jacket was also shrunken so that it no longer fits. The cleaners said my TSE sweater could not be processed so was not cleaned. Thank goodness, or it would have been ruined too. I also had a pair of pants that shrunk in length so now they are above the ankle. Two times my clothes were not ready when promised, requiring multiple trips. Once the store was not open 15 minutes after the scheduled time. Two times my clothes were not ready when promised. With respect to the sweater that could not be processed, it was not returned a full week after dropping off, despite nothing being done, so an extra trip was required to pick up the non-processed sweater. I am looking for a new place for dry cleaning. I have had my clothes cleaned professionally for 30 years and I have never had a worse or more disappointing experience. read more

I wish I could give 0 stars. I dropped off my down comforter on Friday 11/17/23. The front desk person said it would be ready in a couple days. Went in the following week to pick it up, "oh we're closed on weekends so it's not ready yet". Ok that's weird. Called/emailed the next week they said it's getting mended because there's a hole in it. Yes, I forgot it had a hole when I dropped it off, but they didn't ask me if it was ok to send it off or tell me how much longer it would take. Every time I called or emailed the front desk people never had any answers and the manager was always unavailable no matter what time of day. They LOST 2 items for our 11 item order and it seems like I was not the only customer with this issue when I stopped by to pick up my order. They eventually found it but I had to call them multiple times to learn that it was found. I would have appreciated more comms and timeliness around the ordeal. Update: they returned a portion of our missing order along with another person's missing order. When I called, the lady in charge of missing orders centered the conversation around us not remembering 1 of our 11 items but I asked to be transferred to her boss who refunded and reimbursed us quickly. My advice: just skip that conversation and go to the general manager. I understand how frustrating it is to have MULTIPLE missing orders (I encountered just 3 other missing orders in my saga) but don't take it out or blame the customers (and maybe focus on why there is so many missing orders and not customers remembering their items). read more

They texted me on arrival and I told them I am not home, please do not leave these items outside my door (my building has a problem with stealing). They left it anyway, on the floor, on top of my dirty door mat which also happens to be right next to the trash room. Gross, common sense would say at least hang it up. Love that they don't use chemicals, will now come to you for pickup, and can generally get it turned around in two business days. The only downside is the price that comes with that, with dresses currently coming in at $22.50/each. Not great social media and inaccurate hours listed in a bunch of different places. I scheduled a pick up and explained that my laundry had to be completed by the 2 day promise. They assured me I would get my laundry delivered by that day. Then they didn't pick it up and told me they had. Then they promised rush service to make up for their mistake and didn't deliver again. After many phone calls and texts, they said they were sorry and if I wanted to drive across town, I could pick it up (after I paid for delivery.) Absolutely unprofessional and disappointing service. Absolutely amazing! Not only is the staff amazingly kind and attentive, the cleaning services are detailed and perfectly complete. Clothing is hung using recyclable garment bags, hangers and plastic garment bags are recycled onsite, and the method of cleaning is environmentally conscious. Truly a wonderful laundry cleaning company! They also offer free pickup/delivery to specific areas. Have yet to use this service but I'm sure it's great! read more

I was so pleased to find a dry cleaning company that uses safe and non-toxic products! I rarely need dry cleaning, but when I do I think it is important to use products that are natural while also being effective. They are friendly, honest, and helpful. If they cannot provide a service, they will tell you and not waste your time. Lack of communication between the staff and the director. During drop - off, the staff member asked me if my garment was intentionally wrinkly. I said, "No." During pick - up, the staff member said the garment wasn't cleaned because they weren't sure if it was intentionally wrinkly and that someone should've contacted me. No one contacted me. The staff member asked me for a verbal waiver which I gave. The next day, I received a call from Kerstin asking if the garment was intentionally wrinkly. I said, "No, that information was already communicated at the drop - off." Five minutes later, I received a voice mail from Kerstin saying they wouldn't be able to clean my garment without a verbal waiver. I emailed her and told her that I had already given a verbal waiver the day before. They didn't charge me due to the miscommunication and cleaned the garment for free! read more

I have been going to EcoClean for a few months, and have been happy with the job they've done, but the last time I went there, I dropped off a jacket with a cloth flower pinned to it, and when I got it back, the flower had been removed and the stitching had come undone. At first, when I talked to the woman who works there- Minette- she assured me that they would repair the damage. About a week later, I received an email saying that it was ready to be picked up. I picked it up, without opening the bag it was in, and took it home. When I got home and opened it, I saw the flower is in exactly the same condition. I called the next day (today) and spoke to Minette. She said that the email said it was ready to be picked up, not that it had been repaired, and that the general manager said it shouldn't have been on the jacket in the first place, and that there's no way they did all of that damage to it anyway. So it shouldn't have been on the jacket because that's how it ended up getting damaged? Or they didn't damage it? I find it rude that they sent me an email without saying that they didn't actually repair it- that I had to call to get the full story. I dropped off six shirts to be cleaned and "hand pressed." I got home and 3 of the six needed ironing to get the wrinkles out. At $6/shirt I wasn't expecting to have to iron myself. I hate ironing and that's why I took them in in the first place. read more

Imagine being on a trip and pulling out a new shirt that was ironed for the first time, only to realize one of the buttons has been destroyed when they pressed it. Unfortunately this is a regular occurrence with these nice folks. Then imagine you send it back for them to fix and they sew on a white button instead of a blue one so it clearly doesn't match the others. Yet another common occurrence with the nice folks. Maybe one of these days they will implement some basic quality control, but until then they are more trouble than they are worth. read more

Then one day out of the blue they tried to deliver it to my old apartment - after I had updated my address online, in person, and on the phone a number of times. I walked in here wanting to get my "dry-clean only" clothes cleaned and was told they don't do traditional dry-cleaning. Instead, they do a more earth-friendly method that in turn uses minimal water. Huh. All-in-all, my "dry-clean" only clothes turned out great with their not-so dry clean method. Which makes me think that a) this whole dry-clean thing is BS if my clothes ended up ok being washed with water and b) should I just wash these items at home myself? So bummed about my experience with Eco Clean. Having just moved closer to them, I was excited to use them again (after a few year break when it just wasn't convenient). I opted for the free delivery to my home. The short version is they delivered my clothes to the wrong house. (I was very specific about what the front of my house looked like, just to be safe. The house they delivered it to looked nothing like my house so they clearly paid no attention to my info). This is a forgivable & understandable mistake since luckily my neighbor was honest and called me. (several thousand dollars worth of clothes in discussion) I notified the "director of routes" of the problem via a voicemail. He responded in an email that he didn't understand what happened and for to explain the situation and he'd get back to me. I explained the situation, he never got back to me. I reached out one more time to see if they could somehow restore my faith in their business practices and his response was "Since nothing happened with your clothes and you were able to retrieve them before we were made aware I am not sure what you want me to do". Well, I wanted him to do what he said he was going to do - GET BACK TO ME. Some sort of assurance that it was a mistake and they were sorry and would be more careful next time would be made me feel better. But instead he never followed up, then when I reached out, treated me like a thorn in his side. Rude and unprofessional. (and to add insult to injury, the kind neighbor told me they lost his comforter and were rude to him about the mistake). So disappointing as I really wanted to use them. Mistakes are inevitable. We all make them. Treat your clients with respect and courtesy!! If you want to run around your neigborhood looking for your clothes, call Ecoclean. They seem to think that is an acceptable way for paying clients to spend their time. read more

Just had a few items of clothing dry cleaned here for the first time. Conveniently located near me, and they are 'green'/environmentally friendly. I don't get too many garments dry cleaned so I was a bit shocked at the price for five items (one blouse, and 4 dresses). $8/blouse, and $16.75/dress bringing my total for five items just over $81! That said, all of the garments were clean, though two of my dresses looked like they were starting to pill (which is what I was hoping to avoid by dry cleaning them). All in all, this place is alright. I'll be careful of what fabrics I take in if I patronize them in the future, but for those looking for an environmentally friendly dry cleaning option, Ecoclean is a solid choice. read more

I love this service!! Great user friendly app to schedule pickup/delivery--which is free! Very comparable prices to other dry cleaning company companies. I had questions about the cleaning of my drapes and received excellent customer service. And the other clothing items laundered came out perfectly as well. .... by the way not many dry cleaners clean drapes anymore so this was a great find all around! read more
