Unfortunately, the food was a letdown. We ordered a $24 pizza that had virtually no flavor. The sauce was plain, the cheese was tasteless, and overall, it mostly tasted like plain dough. For me, it was especially disappointing because this was our first stop to kick off our vacation. That said, my husband really enjoyed the lamb, so there was at least one dish that stood out for him. Our waiter was great very kind and understanding and he was nice enough to remove the pizza from our check without any hesitation. I truly appreciated the customer service. Overall, the beautiful setting, relaxing atmosphere, and great service were positives, but I really hope the kitchen works on adding more flavor and seasoning to their pizzas. The setup feels very personal, with individual staff members taking the time to explain each wine and the different varietals and blends. One of the most fun and unique parts of the tasting was a blind tasting they included after we had tried a few of their wines. You're given a list and challenged to identify the wine based on the varietals and characteristics you've just been learning about. It was a fun, interactive way to test your palate and learn more about wine along the way. Law focuses primarily on Rhône-style wines, with Syrah and Grenache playing a strong role throughout their lineup. My husband really enjoyed the wines, while this tasting helped me realize that I personally prefer more Bordeaux-style wines and Cabernet-based reds. The setting is peaceful, elegant, and welcoming, and the staff were friendly and very informative. We also saw a dog enjoying the outdoor area, so it appears to be a nice option for those traveling with a pup. Le Cuvier is up at the top of the hill with sweeping views of the whole valley. It's a narrow, winding path to get to the top so drive carefully! Cat presence always gets extra points from me. We were seated on the large shaded outdoor patio, and we were the only customers there. It was late in the day and I guess the midday rush had all just vacated at once. Our server was really great at describing the winemaking process, flavor profiles and history of the winery, but the patio was completely silent. We took out a phone to play our own music and she commented that her mother did the same thing when she visits. Dining experiences need music! If they're aware of this, I hope they consider adding some soft music for a more comfortable ambiance. Wines - All of the wines here are natural, which not many wineries can claim in this area, and I tasted some very unique blends like nothing I've tasted before. My favorite was the Syrah, but the rest of the wines weren't really my style. Food - The menu is changed regularly and it's obvious that the chef enjoys putting it together! We didn't get to try the ramen that my friend raved about because of the new menu, but we loved the mini "street taco" tostada and the spam maki. I did think some dishes would have been better served hot, like the orange-glazed chicken thigh. This was such a cool, unique experience and it sounds like you'll never have the same experience twice! Would recommend to anyone.

I have to start off saying that my wife and I have been wine club members for almost 20 years. That hopefully speaks to how good the wines are and how much care they put into the wines and pay attention to the needs of the club members. We recently visited the Tasting Room and had such an incredible time. The entire staff in the wine tasting room were so welcoming. Of course, all the wines we tasted were spectacular as always. The view on the patio is breathtaking as well. Pam and Steve have created a library of wines that we so enjoy ourselves but enjoy even more with others so they too can become lifelong fans.
