    Homemade vegetable soup
    J.P. W.

We had heard some good things about this place so we decided to give it a try. It's pretty casual, in fact, it wasn't quite what I expected it to be but that's a good thing, because I still found it quite enjoyable. The service was attentive and very good, with several members of the staff tending to our needs. The person at the front door was very friendly. The food and drink selection is very good. I was happy to see NA Beer on the menu. I had the Hacienda Salad and a cup of their soup du jour, which was a vegetable soup. Both were excellent and the salad was huge! I actually brought some home. Nice blend of flavors on the salad. My only observation was the particular booth we chose was quite close to the table, but we made it work. I thought we'd be able to move the table or slide the booth a smidge after the party behind us left, but everything was nailed to the floor. That's fine, it's just a bit close quarters. Opt for a table if you have a dad bod like me.

How can you pass this up?!?!

Very nice establishment. Well decorated. Friendly service and not trying to hurry you out the door. Had the chicken and chorizo pasta special and it was exactly as I expected. Enough for two to share. Highly recommended. The other customers were enjoying their meals so don't ship this place.

This restaurant has a wide variety of food options, so there should be something for everyone. I ordered the half corned beef sandwich on sourdough with a side salad. The meat was tender, plentiful, and flavorful. The salad was fresh and delicious. It was served to us quickly and our waiter took care of us throughout our lunch. The food looked so good that I started eating it right away and completely forgot to take pictures of it! We sat indoors at a comfortable booth. There weren't many people there when we started our lunch, but it filled up as time progressed. They also have outdoor seating for when the weather is cooler.

Ok my first experience wasn't great but I was convinced to come back and give eclectic another shot . Glad I did ! Had a wonderful prickly pear iced tea & mango pineapple salad (made vegan style ) calabacitas taco & guac . Everything was good . I'll be back for sure . Plenty of customizable ootions for vegans . No wait . We sat outdoors with the misters and shade , It was perfect .

The food was amazing and it tasted so good. The dessert was amazing, too. They even have a special for each day of the week. Inside it was wonderful and everything was clean and neat. If you have a dog, you can eat outside. The staff was wonderful and was very kind to us.

Because of the service and attitude we received from our waiter John, we will not be returning.

Chocolate Cake was moist and perfect consistency. Garnished beautifully. Rich but not enough you want to stop.

This was my first time at Eclectic. We were seated immediately and welcomed warmly! Server was attentive without being too much, and food service was QUICK! Most importantly everything was delicious! We had the tortilla soup, 100% recommend. I would come here ill just to have this soup. Then the BLTA sandwich was perfect and fries were addicting! And to top is off, desserts definitely did not disappoint. Overall ambiance was local cafe vibe all around, no fuss and all yum.

What a cherished little gem! OMG I wasn't really expecting to be blown away by a salad but man was I ever. Literally it was the best salad I've ever had. I have never been big on onions and I loved them in this. It was just utterly amazing. Have I peaked your interest? That should have! I'm totally going to return. The manager, sherry came over and thanked us for coming in. Told us that all the vegetables and ingredients are fresh and nothing other than the fries are frozen. we even got zucchini bread and it was moist and yummy! My tummy doesn't hurt like it does for fast food. It was a much healthier option. 100% will return. Pet friendly patio area. Oh and their prickly pear tea was glorious.

Haven't been here in a long while but ordered to go from here for lunch this week while at work, and while my taste buds were happy, I felt the effort was lacking. For one, there was no utensils or napkins with the Togo order, which I feel is standard for a to go order. Secondly, I ordered the McGina pasta, an entree I've had many times from there and found there was an abnormal amount of fatty bacon in the dish. Never have I had to spit out a bite so many times...it was weird. It was super saucy and delivered in a bag in a way that you would be holding the container sideways, causing the pasta to be slumped on one side and messy. I feel like they can do better.

Very nice restaurant with a lot of vegetarian options. - Food is quite tasty. I had the chicken chimichanga while my three vegetarian tablemates enjoyed their food. - Excellent service. This is a sit down restaurant with table service. - Nice outside seating. Don't know about inside but it seems good too. Recommended.

Saturday morning brunch invite at Prep & Pastry on Grant... and let me just say, I'm very glad I…read moresaid yes to this one. I had previously been to their Campbell location, so this time I wanted to try something completely different for breakfast. I went with the Monte Cristo with a side of their potatoes, and wow this dish absolutely delivered. First, the bread. It's thick, almost like Texas toast, which gives the whole sandwich a perfect structure. Inside, it's stuffed with delicious ham and melty cheese, then battered and cooked into that classic Monte Cristo style. The outside is crispy, the inside is soft and gooey, and every bite is full of flavor. It's the kind of breakfast that makes you pause for a second after the first bite because you know you made the right choice. And the potatoes... how do you make something as simple as potatoes taste that good? They're small, perfectly cooked, and somehow packed with flavor in every bite. My friend ordered the Duck Confit Skillet and she was definitely not disappointed. Just the presentation alone makes it look incredible, but the flavors are where it really shines. It's made with braised duck, shallots, spinach, cabernet-braised cherries, and cherry goat cheese mousse. And let me tell you they did not hold back on that cheese mousse. It was a generous scoop and it paired perfectly with the dish. It also comes with the same delicious potatoes I had, which again, did not disappoint. She ordered her eggs over medium, and honestly that's exactly how I'd get them too. For drinks, she had an iced matcha latte and I stuck with their house coffee. She said the matcha was amazing, and my coffee was exactly what you want with brunch, warm, smooth, and reliable. The staff were super friendly and helpful, which always makes the experience better. The restaurant itself is spotless and really aesthetically pleasing. It's bright, welcoming, and kind of feels like you've stepped into your grandma's cozy cottage kitchen - warm, charming, and just really cute. Safe to say... I'll definitely be back.

When I read the reviews, people raved about how great this chickpea scramble was so I was looking forward. It really wasn't anything to write home about. Bland, dry. Suffice to say she absolutely raved - placing it on par with many of the Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurants she has sampled back east. And, we agreed, when Michelin publishes its first-ever SouthWest U.S. edition later this year (2026) I recognize getting a star is a mighty fete but if Tito/Pep does not at least make its S.W. Bib list I will know the fix is in. We started with the Queso Fundido ($13) - with chewy cheese, sauteed mushrooms, and beef chorizo it was a perfect blend of meaty/savory/fatty. We also ordered the Grilled Octopus ($17). What a surprise this was, the crunchy roasted pepper flakes and unusually soft grilled octopus it kicked the pants off of "calamari-style." We inquired and the way they remove the typical rubberiness is by poaching the octopus tentacles for 5(!) hours before grilling. You Go chef Martinez! For our entree we opted for the day's special: deep fried whole Red Snapper for two ($85)... as did about a half-dozen other tables in this intimate 20-tabled venue. See pics as a written description is inadequate. The crisp was excellent and the tender moist fish just beneath, exquisite. The roasted jalapenos were other worldly - somehow only mild heat and with a subtle sweet/acid presence... totally and entirely edible. As fantastic as the vinegar slaw was atop our self-made fish tacos, the tomatillo puree was ridiculous - so fresh and not sour that its scent was nearly as strong as its flavor. We asked again, how?! and were told they first cook the tomatillos for 3 hours. Folks, the effort involved to present this kind of meal would be nearly impossible to do at home for even double the cost. We concluded with the ganache dessert ($12). While so richly decadent it was possibly too rich, only by virtue of its size... it needs to be shared! We were deeply torn over that or the olive oil cake and will opt for the latter... next year, Lol. For drinks we ordered two glasses of their "red blend" (really good for a simple blend) and then the Pie Allen after dinner cocktail ($13) - an interesting combination of prickly pear liquor and port. The staff were amazing - not just in timely attentiveness (a minimum requirement at this level) but especially in terms of being able to field our deep curiosities about several of the dishes. Due to our "layers" of ordering we stayed an easy 2+ hours and were never rushed. Parking will get tight at peak times but everyone will be accommodated. Pre-tip we were at $165 - a special occasion outing for sure but, we both agreed, an (almost) bargain. At this level of quality and degree of effort in Chicago or Miami (places she recently lived) would be closer to $250 for two. Small note: three years ago this began, now it's the norm - restaurants are calculating the tip based upon a total that's After the tax has been added. It's a minor but, nonetheless, unconsented-to, inflation of the tip. Just an fyi :)
