Stopped by the Eatery Cafe Kitchen for a quick bite while on the go. I ordered the chicken quesadilla with fries to go - service was fast and pleasant. The quesadilla and fries were good - neither were greasy like you'd get from other to-go orders. The meals were all reasonably priced. Eatery Cafe Kitchen is not located on Route 46, but just off Bloomfield Ave where the road splits so it's kind of off the beaten path but worth it! It's women owned and think I heard her say it's certified Halal as well. I was shocked to see that the place was empty but maybe people come here more for take out than dining in? Either way, I will be back because I think I found a new spot for bfast/lunch close to home in Fairfield! read more

Amazing service. Others should learn. Great food, great coffee, ambience is great too.

This was a great cafe, I went there for breakfast regularly. Prices were very reasonable for the large amount of food you got. Then, overnight, the prices doubled and they now all themselves a restaurant. Nothing changed inside the cafe. They have a more extensive menu now but it is outrageously priced! The prices should be for an upscale restaurant. My days of going there are over. Too bad. read more

The Eatery Cafe Kitchen is located on Bloomfield Avenue in Fairfield. The restaurant, I was told by the girl taking orders, has been open for about 6 months. There is a large interior with 2 stations to place orders. It looks like one is for breakfast (served until 1pm), while the other is for sandwiches. There's also a self serve pastry section as well. I decided to go with breakfast and ordered cheese and eggs on a croissant. The sandwich was large and very good. I also ordered a coffee which was excellent! The only drawback here is that there were only 2 tables to sit at. There are signs on the table saying that these are only for waiting for takeout orders. The restaurant is waiting for the town to allow indoor seating. That will be a much needed improvement since this large restaurant is basically just takeout right now. read more

Excellent local cafe. The food was excellent and so is the seating area. Not too loud. It's self service with no wait staff so I understand the lack of plates and reliance on styrofoam containers but with that small change , I think this can be a really cool place. At least do it for the coffee. Happy to be supportive of the place. read more

I think they have a fairly eclectic menu, so I'd be down to give it another try. This cafe looks pretty new and has understated decor, even though it's casual. Their green smoothie tasted healthy but I didn't get the hype behind it. Otherwise, I tried the omelette plate and my friend tried the brioche french toast. I would say both were pretty average in terms of taste. The menu items were reasonable in pricing though, and lots of free tables/seats. I went on a Monday morning and it was rather quiet. read more

I came in for a quick bite since I was in the area and was pleasantly surprised at my experience. Super nice staff. Helped me with my order and I didn't have to take too long. Space is very clean and well taken care of. They have Joe's potato chips and you can't go wrong with those! The breakfast items looked pretty good. I'll come back soon! read more

A great addition to the area. Fantastic mix of American, Mediterranean and Middle Eastern fare. Burgers, wraps, salads, humus, sandwiches, platters, cakes, pastries, coffee and more. Great spot to pickup a relatively healthy breakfast, lunch or dinner. Upscale interior and a very friendly, helpful staff. So far I have tried the spinach pie which was among the best I have ever had. I can also recommend chicken wrap which was awesome. Freshly grilled chicken with veggies, pickled something and hummus. I also had an excellent cup of fresh coffee as well. I haven't tried the pastries or cakes yet, but they all look top notch. I can foresee this place as becoming part of my weekly routine and I look forward to my next visit. read more

I love this place. To date, I have tried their muffins, brownies, cookies, salads, croissants, pastries, carrot cake, and banana nut bread. And...They are AMAZING!!! I don't post too many reviews but I just popped in to this place near my office and WOW - what a different place to grab a bite for breakfast, lunch or even dinner (based on the menu). I ordered a shrimp po' boy for lunch and while i was waiting (they're takeout only at the moment) I noticed the great looking baked goods so I grabbed an oatmeal cookie that looked incredible. Took a bite and it became my appetizer (oops). The shrimp sandwich once I got back to the office was also amazing. I see that I should have taken pictures but it was all so good I inhaled it.
