The barista on shift was fantastic. The place was busy, but she stayed patient and attentive the whole time, including with my complicated order, which she got completely right. I usually avoid going in during rush hours, but she handled the crowd so well that it didn't feel chaotic at all. The other boy team member did fine too, but she was clearly the one keeping things running smoothly. read more

I was so excited when I drove past PJ's in Fairfield since I used to see them all the time when I lived down South. This location is bright and spacious; a great place to hang out or work. Great drink selection and I was lucky enough to have a slice of warmed king cake during my visit. If you haven't had the privilege of tasting king cake, it is a must try! Soft pillowy dough with ribbons of cinnamon sugar. Think the lightest fluffiest cinnamon bun you've ever had. Also it is located next to Kid's empire so it's a great place to get caffeinated before playing with the kiddos next door. read more

Stopped in here for coffee this AM and I was impressed! They have plenty of parking. I was pleasantly surprised to see they had Girl Scout cookie latte specials when I walked in - Girl Scout cookies seem to be very trendy right now. I ordered the Toffeetastic latte, cold brew shaken espresso and an almond croissant. It was all well worth it. read more

It's pretty good depending on what you order but the coffee is not amazing. They have so many flavor options it's a bit overwhelming. It's a nice spot to study though. read more

My friend always raved to me about the beignets so I went with her and gave them a try. Might I say I see what the rave is about. Mouth watering goodness! Served hot and fresh out the fryer in only a few minutes. Powdered sugar was not too sweet and the beignet was the perfect density. Delicious, I will return for more. The space was cozy, bright, and clean. The baristas were nice and polite. read more

I frequent this location when in the area. Service is always quick and the workers are friendly. The New Orleans theme is evident throughout with very festive Mardi-Gras decor. Today, I tried their protein velvet ice which I had been wanting to try and it was pretty good! Something new on the menu are their "Energy" teas which are infused with Red Bull They are constantly changing and adding to their menu which I love read more

We love PJ's, and will travel 30 minutes just to visit. The staff are always kind and attentive. They offer a great variety of unique coffee beverages, and the coffee is always rich and flavorful. Additionally, the drinks are always very consistent. Coffee is never bitter, always fresh, etc. I am a huge fan of their iced latte. The beignets are incredible, which is truly the reason why we go. They are served hot and fresh. They are never soggy, and are always prefect. Be prepared to wait for them, however, as they are made to order. They are WORTH IT! Probably my favorite baked good from anywhere! The shop is clean and a comfortable place to be. It is also spacious. Overall, couldn't recommend it more. Give it a try! read more

It's a good cup of coffee with a mid dine-in experience. I'd say my honey oat milk latte was correctly made - long finish, not bitter, not syrupy. Not mind-blowingly good, but more than acceptable. I wish that they had offered ceramic cups for dine-in. I found the front of house quite trained and attentive. The cashier ensured that I clarified whether I wanted a hot or iced drink. At the handoff plane, the barista made eye contact to confirm that I was getting the right drink. The vibe is a bit commercial, given the shiny cleaning-friendly seating, two walls of merch, and clearly fake wood grain on the floor. On a Saturday around 11a, it was only me and a couple for dine-in, with a steady stream of 1-2 people in line at the register for to-go orders. read more

Holy cow! Stopped to get something sweet for a late afternoon snack. The beignets are freshly made and are amazing. Highly recommend!

This was my first visit to PJ's Coffee, and even though it was a slow day, my order was still made incorrectly and took a long time to prepare. The staff was polite, but I hope future visits will have quicker and more accurate service read more

24 hours later, I can still feel my teeth. Went next-door with the family for a birthday party and with all the activity I felt a slight need for coffee so I visited Pj's. Environment was very quiet. The ladies were extremely quick with the service and very polite. Coffee was hot and tasty. I didn't enjoy the service but I wish they would've at least asked me if I wanted cinnamon in my cappuccino or even sugar. Not a big thing they do have a drink bar to set up your own drinks considering their environment is a little bit on the Starbucks side, which didn't seem too original. They do have a better selection on their menu, which is a major major plus. Keep it up PJs. read more

The coffee was very good. I had both the ice carmal latte and and a hot Carman latte. I went you to the location in Fairfield, New Jersey, but I was really happy to find out there is also a location in newark , new jersey where I work. read more

I always enjoy the coffee here, and they offer a great selection of food to pair with your coffee or tea. There's plenty of indoor seating, making it a comfortable spot to relax. I tried the red velvet coffee and really liked it. They've recently added a pickup window, which is very convenient. The service is fast and friendly, and I'll definitely keep coming back to try more items. read more

I decided to stop by PJ's. I haven't been here in over a year. I arrived 20 min before closing yet it seemed like it was 5 min before. They had only one flavor of coffee, Santa's Helper. The cream was put away so I had to ask for it. The seats were already up on the tables. It was very disappointing going here today. I may or may not be back. I only recommend you go many hours before closing. read more

Cafe du Monde it is not but still a notch above Cafe Beignet, at least when it comes to beignets. Coffees are ok and the New Orleans vibe is a bit forced and you really can't shake the feeling your on good ole Route 46; not on the banks of the Mississippi but when you have the craving there's a place to satisfy it. read more

First time at PJs yesterday for a quick coffee, never had been and it was the best! I didn't know what to get for a drink and I asked the barista and she recommended her favorite honey and cinnamon and it was so good! She was very welcoming and accepting of new customers, a great coffee shop! Some coffee shops make you feel weird if you don't know what to order but not here. The shop was also really cute loved the decorations and ambience, soft music not too loud perfect for getting work done! Would recommend! read more

Rip off! Awful! My 20oz iced coffee was $6.50! The pastry was stale too. This place is ridiculous. It makes Starbucks seem cheap. If you order an iced coffee with light ice, they charge you $.75 extra!!!! If you order no ice, they charge you $1.50 extra!!!! And the place is a mess! No toilet paper in the dirty bathroom. Tables have stuff on them. Garbage overflowing. You aren't allowed to use the new baby changing table. Several signs by bathrooms say "customers only." Very unwelcoming. This place is horrible. Shame on them! read more

I went here because it was closer to where I was than the two usual chains where I get iced coffee. Almost unhappy that the coffee was so delicious. Now I have to hike 2 miles out of my way each AM to get this glorious beverage. It ruined me for the competition. Great service too. read more

What a great place for coffee and beignets. Coffee delicious, any kind, cold or hot. Mocha granita to die for. Beignets take you back to New Orleans! The young people who work at the Fairfield store are so nice. Always bringing over our order (we are old) or helping in some way. What a find!! We love it!!! read more

I think I found my new favorite cafe spot to do work. It has nice vibes, good coffee, nice people, but especially has amazing baked goods! I had a no sugar caramel iced latte which was okay, but I wouldn't recommend "no sugar" flavor. And there baked goods were truly amazing and fresh! I had the blueberry scone and beignet. Though both were great, my favorite was the beignet. Soft, sugary, and fluffy. Granted this was my first beignet ever, so I have nothing to compare it to, it reminded me of the fluffiness of a croissant and sugary goodness of a Krispy Kreme donut. read more

This location is on my way to an office so very convenient. I usually get their flavored coffee which is a little hit or miss. Sometimes it's more burnt tasting than I'd like but definitely better than Starbucks or Dunkin. The staff here are lovely. There's usually the same male and female when I go in the mornings and they are both attentive, friendly and engaging. read more

Well, it's been 2 weeks with no response from the Business Owner. I wrote about the incorrectly prepared coffee which got me sick, and to add insult to injury, did not receive reward points (which I could care less about). Owner responded and asked me to email him, which I did. Said he would look into it. Never heard back. The fact is that the coffee got me sick, no apology, so that's it for this place. read more

I tried two coffees and a beignet. I got a peppermint bark and holiday blend I believe it was called. The coffee was okay! I love it strong and the coffee was weak! The pastry was okay not the greatest. I will give them another try to see if maybe I just ordered the wrong thing!!! read more

Solid coffee spot with a nice selection of premium coffees. Similar to Starbucks in quality and price. Very nicely designed space with a comfortable and upscale vibe. What a lovely new addition to our neighborhood! I don't drink coffee daily, I usually have it more as a treat and I think that is because I am sick of these chain coffee spots. My husband and I were so excited when PJ's came to the area. My husband is a coffee snob and he LOVES their coffee, which in my mind shows that it is good coffee. I love their frozen and blended coffee drinks - it is like drinking a coffee milkshake - yummmmm! We have been repeat customers and will continue to be. Cannot recommend them enough. read more

First time trying this place. Walked in. Great vibe. Very nice ambience and decor. Welcoming exterior and interior. Welcoming faces. They also have a walk up window outside for quick to go orders. Inside there is a lot of New Orleans inspired colors and finishing details / touches. Tried vanilla Latte. Good taste. Good temperate. No latte art, however. So if that's your thing don't get your hopes up. Would definitely order again, though. Wife tried a seasonal drink that wasn't much her jam. But we like trying new things either way. Also tried the beignet which was fresh hot and delicious! And lastly we shared a bacon egg croissant. Unfortunately, the sandwich was not warmed up enough so the center was still rather cold. This place is one of the nicer coffee shops in the area. Gave it 4 out of 5, only for disappointment with breakfast croissant sandwich being cold. And the service was spectacular. Smiles. Good energy. Will be back for sure! read more
