This place is an absolute gem, what a find! Located in a parking lot, it is a bit hard to find the entrance. There's indoor and outdoor seating, and the service is impeccable. I came here on a Wednesday afternoon and ordered the Sandy - chai with maple spice foam and I got it hot. Boy, did this hit the spot! I also got a chickpea blonde which was sensational. I was so pleased with both that I plan on becoming a regular. The price was $15 with tip for both which seems to be the standard rate for things nowadays. This coffee shop is consistently rated one of the best and rightfully so. I love the kind and friendly baristas, inventive menu and there is even a walk up order window for those on the go. On a nice day, its really pleasant to sit in their ample outdoor seating. I have been there twice in one week and tried one of their seasonal items, as well as one the barista favorites. The hot honey shaken espresso was sweet from the peach puree, strong and had a hint of spice. It was a very tasty drink for the summer! I also really enjoyed The AJ which was an iced latte with white chocolate, vanilla extract, brown sugar and pistachio cold foam. Also, I love how plentiful the parking was. Wow, wow, wow! This coffee shop has so much character. As soon as I stepped in, I didn't want to leave. The atmosphere is calming and peaceful which makes it the perfect place to work or study in. There are both indoor and outdoor seating areas with steady wifi and outlets. Both areas are decorated beautifully and aesthetically pleasing with vibrant decor, natural lighting, cozy furniture, and greenery. It's like a mix of Bohemian, tropical, and zen vibes. Spend some time in their Library Lounge - you will feel right at home in your living room! Now onto the coffee... They have an extensive menu with espresso drinks, smoothies, teas, refreshers, and small bites. They even offer coffee flights! The barista was very patient and helpful. I ordered one of their most popular drinks, the Salted Honey Latte (~$5). It was smooth and slightly sweet. I like being able to taste the espresso in my drinks, so they nailed this. I recommend to those who don't want a latte that's too sweet. They also sell a ton of merchandise like snacks, jewelry, apparel, stationary, body care, and candles. Shop and sip! The Compound has to be one of the vibiest cafes I've ever been to. With all the colorful decor, fun little goodies they sell such as jewelry & skincare - this place has a lot of character to it. The menu has a wide range of options from more bitter coffee choices to sweet ones. The barista was so sweet and was guiding me through which coffee she think I'd like based on my preferences. I went with the Rainbow Cookie Latte because I'm a sucker for a rainbow cookie lol. The latte itself was honestly just okay. Cute little shop in an off the beaten path location. I got the seasonal Italian Rainbow Cookie iced latte and it wasn't great but not bad, but that's where the positives end unfortunately. Waiting close to a half hour for 2 drinks after ordering when we're the only ones there was a bit much. My mom was with me and got a coconut milk based coffee (I forget the name) which she said was bitter and did not have good flavor. The drinks were ready about 15 minutes apart which was very awkward and didn't make any sense- I kept hearing the 2 workers talk about if they should make our second drink but for some reason they kept putting it off and making mobile orders. We're thinking the bad service was because we didn't tip since they were whispering after we paid while pointing to our order info, but that would just be speculation. Very uncomfortable experience. My favorite feature is the ample space and option to sit outside or inside, which is perfect for working remotely, meeting friends, or conducting business meetings. That's always been my one knock on many local coffee shops--the lack of space and inspiration to work for long periods, and the disregard from ownership because there are never any plugs for charging devices. They have a pickup window if you don't want to go all the way in or you can order inside. This spot is so aesthetically pleasing! There's a neon sign and cute unique gifts such as candles with different sayings, greeting cards, apparel and more. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with smiles and friendly faces! I did come for the coffee flight, but I got there too late as they were closing in an hour and do not serve the flight an hour before closing which is understandable. At the time of my visit, they had a Valentines Day menu where I ordered a drink called "You Give Me Butterflies" which is butterfly pea flower tea, dash of lavender, elderflower, splash of lemon juice and coconut milk shaken over ice. I ordered a flight of their favorites--a coquito, a matcha, an oat, and another I can't remember. The lattes were a bit watered down, I wish there was a bit more espresso taste. Also a tad expensive, $15, which should amount to at least two drinks, but somehow, with all the ice, it went quickly. Okay, I need to come back here a 1,000 more times! First, it's dog friendly which is so exciting because there are few places you can bring your pup to around here so I appreciate it so much. Walking into the establishment, I quickly realized how much of a personality this place has, the owners clearly took their time to make this business personal and it shows. There are so many things to looks at! It's so earthy, and colorful which is my type of look. It has an inside and an outside area. The outside area has games you can play and bunch of lounging areas! It has heaters for the winter so it can be used all year round. The inside has seating called "the library lounge" so adorable! I imagine being able to come here with a group or getting some work done in this area. They also have a small gym called "the pound" ! Not sure if everyone can use it but I thought it was super cool. They also have a gift shop with adorable products to by! Okay now on to the coffee!! They have coffee flights! How creative ! I absolutely love this idea. I used to come year last year (2021) during the summer and fall. This place was amazing such amazing energy and drinks. This was my favorite hangout spot. There was two barista that knew how to do things right A lady, brown hair used to be from the city, she was there everyday and a gentleman that was in college that was there part time, he knew how to do some of drinks pretty good. But recently I went there twice, the first time I ordered a small Iced latte with and it was awful, the barista with tattoo brownish hair took way too long and must've not known how to dial in. I assumed maybe she wasn't having a good day or something. So, I decided to give it another shot once again and I honestly don't know what happened maybe new management or what.
