Excellent brewery!!! This place is sorta hidden which is a great thing tbh. It was packed and lively and filled with great people enjoying themselves. The beers here are excellent and the atmosphere itself is top notch. I had the ROCKY ROAD MIND OVER MATTER stout and my girlfriend had the LONG ISLAND ICED TEA R&R sour and both were spectacular. The staff were friendly and helpful. They also sell snacks so of course we bought some Corn Nuts to wash down with our tasty beers. This place is the perfect size brewery and it's very comfortable. Creative Beers, Cozy Vibe Magnify is a small brewery with big ideas. Their inventive beers are a highlight, especially the sours--Purple Rain is a standout with its sweet grape flavor. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, but with only 1-2 people running the taproom, service can get a bit slow during busy times. Still, it's worth the visit for the unique brews! read more

Magnify Brewing was a great find. I was looking for a nearby brewery close to the hotel I was staying at and I found this location. I was so happy with the ambiance and the beer selections. They had sooo many different types of beers to pick from. I liked the seltzer beer and the coconut beer. They played fun music while I was watching college football and playing a card game with my boyfriend. We loved the beer and seltzer selection. The coconut hard seltzer was my favorite and had coconut chunks in it. Felt like I was on an island! Magnify Brewing was a brewery I had on my list to try and I got a extra bonus with this one as it was a collaboration beer with Cerebral Brewing which Steve and I have both enjoyed in the past. The beer we had was the Hawaiian Shirt Fridays which was a unusual beer as it was a Tiki Sour Triple IPA so it was kind of a cross between an IPA and a sour. The beer is a bit on the stronger side with an 11% ABV but again, it is a triple IPA. Flavor features with this beer is loaded with tropical flavors of banana, pineapple and coconut with that puckering sour highlight going on. A fun and unique beer to try and I found it very exciting to try out Magnify Brewing! read more

Pro: -The beers we tried were good. Cons: -The business model here is super strange - if you order a can pour, they pour you a portion of the beer (which means you might get part of an already opened can and part of a fresh can). This also means they waste so much beer at the end of the night, dumping out whatever is leftover. Just let me buy the can and look at the can art etc. -Nasty bartender. Knowledgeable about the beers but why be rude to people who are there to spend money. read more

We have been going here on and off for the past eight years and we stopped in yesterday for the anniversary party . They had a really great beer that tastes like Tang I can't remember the name however. My boyfriend had a delicious one as well that reminded us of pina colada's! You can bring in food and they had a food truck there but not sure if that was just for the party.? read more

The beers were good, I liked the size of the 9 oz so you could try different things. I really only drink sours so it was great that they had a good selection. I've been drinking magnify for about 4 years and they have a great variety of beer. Stopped in with my girl about a week ago to drink inside for the first time. The staff at the bar was very friendly and attentive. And beer is just always better at the brewery. Great selection with a relaxed ambiance. The place is small so get in there and secure a seat. Looking forward to returning and have a few more beers inside. You should definitely make your way over and have a cold one or two. ENJOY!!! read more

Ive waited way to long to make the hike out here. and by hike, i mean getting off 46 and making 100 turns and going through multiple parking lots. The GPS directions are on point, but it was a bit confusing the first time driving through here. however, Magnify's beer is high quality craft beer. i say that because i can taste every word that they use to describe the beers on their chalkboard in each sip. usually a beer looses some notes because one overpowers, but the 3 beers i had did the complete opposite. The quality of each beer showed through and through. I had 2 sours and 1 stout. both of their sours were of higher alcohol percentage, over 6%, which is nice since sours tend to be on the lower scale of %. i had the chain reaction which to me was a typical sour, which i always love. slightly quenched to the sip with the tangy flavors thrown in there. the Bangarangatang was nothing like other sours. It had a milky, thick, but sour taste to it. The marshamellow sneaks in and i couldnt be more happy about this. towards the end of each sip you get the slight coconut and vanilla creeping through. The drastic measures stout is a very mature, and heavy stout. However, the coffee is clearly the star of the show here, and it will wake you up right quick. The tap room is very small and narrow. seems like the place to grab a drink or two, despite there being small tables on the side and one in the front- its just narrow and crowded. so keep that in mind when you bring big groups here. staff is nice and the place (including bathrooms) are very clean and welcoming. read more

Magnify is definitely a brewery worth visiting; do not stop at just buying their cans! The brewery offers a great variety of beers. At times I have noticed a lot of beers that include wine components, like grape parts, which are not my thing. But I love their other styles, particularly the IPAs. And that is coming from a guy who is burnt out on IPAs. If I remember correctly, they sell 8 and 16 ounce pours. Some beers are available for sale in bottles but not all of them. I do not recall any available food but there were some board games available to entice you to stay a while. Also plenty of parking! You better have a DD though! read more

The outside area is located in the middle of the parking lot. The guy who was giving out the cans , had an attitude. I have nothing good to say about this place . A little pre Fourth of July celebration, we stopped in before heading into the city to see the fireworks. A new brewery with a new adventure and a list of beers. Located in an industrial plaza, there wasn't much signage showing us where the place was but we were able to find it located coincidentally next to the distillery that I was thinking about checking out that was sadly closed for the Fourth. Magnify was busy with patrons all enjoying some drafts while others were walking out with cans for their parties and gatherings. We decided to stop in to have a couple of pours from their list of DIPA along with other options like a sour and lager. They offered 7oz and 14 oz pours served in stemless wine looking beer glasses; a nice twist to the typical glassware. Kelly our bartender walked us through the list offering her own suggestions and what caught our eyes. We sat at the nearby high top enjoying some cheese with our beer that we bought at a nearby Bottle King. The pours were strong with my dad's pour being over 12% abv. We all enjoyed our drinks that were not too strong and hoppy but still did the job. Location was a little hot with fans only blasting to keep us cool. I will sadly said that the bathroom and area around the men's room wasn't clean at all. With sticky floors outside, I almost broke my flip flop with it almost sticking to the floor and small bugs flying around inside. I was confused why as it wasn't "dirty" or "smelly" but something attracted them. A small tap room located next to a distillery will be a two for one if you are going out that way. Grab a growler full of their beer and then a spirit next door for a good night or Fourth of July. read more

We stopped by to pick up some beer to go and were a bit disappointed by their limited selection of 2 possible brews. However, we wound up getting a 4-pack of the III, their 9% Third Anniversary Imperial IPA. When we got home and sampled it, we were blown away by how complex it was. Each sip started off with a robust, hoppiness and notes of caramel, but finished with hints of citrus. The III was extremely unique, yet easy to drink. We agreed that this was one of the best IPA's we had ever had, and we look forward to going back, especially when we can enjoy their tasting room! read more

Okay, real talk - and possibly slightly blasphemous - but I don't like beer. At all. I've gone to *a lot* of breweries with my boyfriend and have sampled pretty much everything he's gotten. Often, the bartender will be like "TRUST ME, I can get you to like this!" and then they cannot. The bartender (I wish I got her name!) at Magnify didn't push me to try something but did gently recommend it. It was a sour and I was 100% ready to pay for it, take a sip, and give the rest to my boyfriend. BUT IT WAS AMAZING. And of course I don't remember the name of it. But it was orange and absolutely delicious. I didn't just tolerate it, I enjoyed every single sip that I had. We were lucky enough to get a table and played Connect Four and just had a really great night. Can't wait to go back! read more

It's not located where the GPS takes you. Go all the way to the end of the complex. I only had time for one and it was very good. A "cold" ipa. Very helpful staff and the ipa was excellent. Great beers, my only issue here was a lack of wheelchair accessible curb cut to the sidewalk. We actually looked and didn't see a curb cut anywhere, so if there is one, it must be much farther down. Otherwise, it's a nice little tasting room with friendly guys behind the counter. We really enjoyed the hazy IPAs, and took a few varieties home with us at the end of the day. read more

Had no idea there was a brewery in Fairfield. The choices are IPAs and IPAs :) I'm not really a big fan of them but they were enjoyable with the bag of family sized check mix I brought. I was able to try all of them and ordered 4 of them for $3 for the 7oz size. There's only 1 large picnic table. Plenty of bar space to stand and enjoy. Other smaller high tables along the wall. Bathroom was clean. I'd come back and bring takeout next time. The staff is friendly and engaging. read more

The best brewery in NJ, by far! Craft beers at it's finest. Located in an industrial area you have to navigate through a long parking lot before you arrive. It's easy to miss so pay attention! I have never had a beer from here that I disliked. Their IPA's are on point. No ultra bitter taste. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. You can even sample them prior to purchasing one their cans. They are tough to find in bar/pub locations. So stop on by and pick up a 4 pack...or more. I have stopped in to pick up several newbies. There is a separate area to sit and sample. I don't have time to sample...especially knowing they all are great! But if you're out with some friends, feel free to stay and you can even bring in some grub. Excellent craft brewery located conveniently in Fairfield New Jersey. I was surprised that they had a good variety of different beers. I typically like lighter beers, and my husband dark IPA's, And we were both surprised we found something we liked. It's also great because you can bring your own food and sit at some of the provided seating with friends and just hang out. Definitely a hidden gem!!! My only suggestion for the ownership would be to increase signage. We have a little bit of trouble finding it with in the office park. We will be back! read more

Great spot for some serious beer! They have a great selection with a ton of imperials. I tried the 4th Anniversary Triple IPA which was great! Summer Fridays was also very refreshing. There is no food here, but the beer was worth the visit; of course you can fill up your growlers and take some cans home if you wish. Never went to a brewery before but I can promise you that I will again really soon. Magnify is awesome. Great little bar area with a caring and more than congenial staff. But really, who cares about all that, it's about the beer, STUPID! And friends, I'm here to tell you that it rocked. Not sure whether it's their specific varieties themselves or the freshness aspect of being literally brewery to table but the taste was unlike anything I'd tried before. Delicious beer aside, the place is a bit hard to find. I would use the directions on their website rather than your navigation system because it's at the back of a large industrial park. Once inside you'll see a fairly small bar area with a few tables and a counter. Beyond the bar is the brewing area, open and in plain view. Last night (Friday) they were fairly busy but we found a seat at the bar and proceeded to order. There's no food aside from some really good pretzels but they encourage you to bring it in. It's kind of like a reverse BYOB which is just fine with me. Guys sitting next to us ordered a pizza. 4 beers were $15, woo hoo and more than worth it. The staff was great and explained to us all we needed to know about brewing beer, varieties and tastes. Worth noting, this is a really new brewery, being open less than a year. But judging by last night's enthusiastic crowd and the incredible taste of everything we tried, they're going to be around for quite some time. When I asked about how business was, they answered simply, "great". No surprise there at all. Go, you'll love it. read more

Magnify Brewing is one of only two production breweries in Essex County, which is one of the most densely populated and higher income counties in New Jersey. So, needless to say, they serve very high quality beer, have a sophisticated decor and clientele. However, it was very crowded on the day I went. It was so crowded, and as I was patiently waiting to get served, I even thought of coming back on a Thursday instead of a Saturday. I noticed that they really do not have a system for managing the crowds at all. People are sitting at the bar, and then the crowd is three people deep behind the bar. I was thinking that they could have an "ORDER HERE" sign at the end of the bar. They could also have an employee standing at the door, greeting everyone, handing out tour cards, and working the floor. Or maybe they could have customers take a number. There just needs to be some sort of system, which currently there just is not. There is also no physical tour available, and I did not get to chat with the owner. So, I feel bad, but I just cannot give them five stars. Magnify, however, has some of the best IPA's that I have tasted in New Jersey. You might have to go to Vermont to find ones that compete. Based upon my tour throughout all the breweries in NJ, I have found that some breweries might have a good IPA, but that's not their specialty. Magnify will please even the most sophisticated IPA enthusiasts. I bought cans of the Imperial IPA to take home. They also have a really nice, updated decor, with bell jar lights, white subway tile, and other cool features. The crowd that goes there is mostly the 30 something, well dressed crowd. They just are very North Jersey and aren't super open to meeting others. I would go back to try more of their IPA's, but I think I would want to bring a friend and go at an off-peak time. read more

Don't be fooled by the tucked away (slightly creepy at night) location. If your date is driving you here and you start to get worried...just go with it because the beer is AWESOME and so worth the trip. The fact that their cans are snatched up immediately by people looking to take some home is a testament to how great their beer is. The space has great industrial vibes and I only wish they would expand the seating space more! But honestly, whenever I've gone with my fiancé we don't mind standing by the bar because 1. It's worth it and 2. That actually makes it easier to taste different beers Go, try everything that you can and then keep going back! That's what I'll continue to do. read more

Magnify Brewing is an authentic local brewery with a rich and rustic tasting room. Located in an unsuspecting warehouse in Fairfield, NJ...and conveniently next door to NJ Spirits Distillery. The tasting room was warm and inviting with several of their beers on tap. The bar tenders were knowledgeable and friendly. Magnify offers draft beers a la carte, cans to go, growlers to go and a small selection of soft good....They DO NOT serve food. However, you are welcome to bring your own food and eat it there. After taking the edge off, jump next door to NJ Spirits Distillery and wet your whistle with some locally sourced and crafted spirits. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Magnify Brewing. Other than that, the beers are delicious and reasonably priced and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. Their smallest pour is 8 oz. ($3), but they'll let you try the different taps before you commit. While the growlers to take home are a nice option, I feel like flights must also be an option at breweries, yet they don't offer them. This is the only reason I'm stuck at 4 stars. Stopped by Magnify on a Friday before NYE and apparently had the same idea as 100 other people. The tasting room was packed that night, but the beer baristas kept up with the rush and handled everyone fairly quickly. The Husband had a Turkish Coffee Porter with cardamom pint $8 and truly enjoyed it, I had a Baltic Porter fermented in oak with cocoa nibs and liked it as well. This is one of the smaller tasting rooms, especially with the size of the crowd on this night. So it was a one and done visit for us but a place I'd return to in the future. read more

If you haven't yet had a chance to visit Magnify...what are you waiting for?? I'm so spoiled because this is now a local brewery for me. Their four "year round" beers are Low Visibility Pale Ale, Search Saison, Vine Shine IPA, and Black Wheat. They often do limited can releases and special kegs of one time only brews, as well as variations on some of the flagship beers (eg. Vine Shine aged in gin barrels). We're so addicted to Search Saison that we served it at our wedding! So, the beer is definitely great. The owners? Passionate about their beers and always welcoming. Their tasting room has a great vibe - it's not huge but it has a good amount of space and seating. Magnify have proven themselves to be a major NJ beer contender, and I cannot wait to see what the future holds for them! read more
