Hibiscus and broadway with sour watermelon.

Great brew, great music, great service, great atmosphere. Cant wait to come back. This place is so inviting and we are so glad we happened to pass it while dining in denville. It came highly recommended by a friend too. I love that they will pick up food for you from the surrounding eateries.

It was a warm late afternoon and we sat outside. A dog friendly place in downtown Denville, the outside seating was spacious. I sampled a flight of three craft beers while the ladies sampled fruit and berry drinks. This was my first time here and I learned about the live music later that day. Diamond Springs Brewing co. had a large selection of beers and the three I sampled were excellent. The staff were friendly and attentive.

Black Bear Stout (June 2025)

Bottom Line: The Blackberry Bear Stout was amazingly good. Came in to a very busy wednesday evening at sunset, and it was a modestly busy night. Kinda surprising, but in a good way. Weather was awesome, and so was the black bear stout. Now, to be clear, I am not a fruity beer fan, and neither was my cohort. He had the mexican lager, which he stated he liked. And my black bear stout was awesome. Not overly sweet, good complimentary flavors, and a pleaser. The ambiance was definely patio happy - and I can definitely see myself returning some day.

staff was nice, menu variety plentiful, prices were good, nice outdoor area with fire pit, dog friendly, and parking lot They don't serve food due to NJ laws but they allow you to bring your own

Top notch brewery! I was here a week ago and it's such an amazing little brewery. It's very small and cramped inside but the atmosphere was outstanding so I didn't mind it. I can only imagine what's it's like with the doors open and everyone outside sitting at the tables enjoying themselves. The service was great! We ordered a flight with: - Nutty By Nature 5/5 - Griswald Family Xmas 5/5 - Jelly Of The Month Club 5/5 The beers were outstanding! Some of my favorites tbh I like that they sell some snacks that are local so we bought package of pretzels to nibble on while we enjoyed our beers. They were having trivia night while we were there which is super cool, but we didn't participate due to being hungry and leaving just as they were starting. This is an amazing brewery in an amazing town. Check them out :) Sláinte

DENVILLE: in the heart of downtown Denville is Diamond Spring Brewing Company, a beautiful craft brewery serving up a wide selection of beers and leashed and friendly dogs are allowed inside! The cozy tasting room is perfect for kicking back some seasonal specials like the Griswald Family Christmas stout, Hot Nutz warm mulled herbed cider, and much more including non-alcoholic options. They even offer "Dog Electrolyte Water" in a can! We loved seeing the "Pour it Forward" board where customers buy a beer for someone of their choosing, like teachers, veterans, and first responders. They have events throughout the year including live music and trivia, photos with Santa, and more! In addition to the tasting room is a large outdoor patio overlooking Broadway with fire tables, heaters, blanket rentals, games, and they hope to have a covered patio in 2025. Bring your own food and enjoy a day with your pup, family, and friends!

Super impressed with the size of the outdoor space at Diamond Springs. All of their seating is outdoors, so I wonder what goes down here in the winter. In any case, this is a wonderful spot to enjoy some fresh brewery beer outside when the weather is right. You can of course bring your own food, and thy even have a stage set up for outdoor events. Beer is absolutely delicious -- I tried a flight with a few fall specials and everything was a hit. I just wish they had more variety of beer to take home. They only really sell the classics to-go. All the more reason to come back! My only major complaint is the adults only seating situation. A large part of the outdoor space is sectioned off for adults only. This area had plenty of open tables that we couldn't sit at with kids, when there were lots of tables in the GA section that were only occupied by only adults. Not sure if there is a solution to that problem, but it was incredibly frustrating for us. Overall, this is a great brewery with delicious beer and expansive outdoor seating. Maybe next time I'll have to come and ditch my kids, lol.

The entire customer space indoors. Brewing in the room to the right. Bathrooms behind the Good Life.

An intriguing new addition to brewing companies in the greater Denville area. This may qualify as the closest to my home. I offer the following intrigues (as opposed to positives and negatives): * Very open environment. All our good-weather seating was under outdoor tents. Not a lot of room under the fixed building ceiling. Not sure what they would do for cold or stormy weather. * Opens promptly at 12, not a second before. Dogs and children welcome and abundant, playing with the gravel rocks we all walk and sit on outside. Up to parents to supervise. * No one outside to take orders; occasionally someone came by to collect empty cups or rake the stones, but otherwise up to you to walk inside to order. There was someone disabled sitting at one table, and I was not watching to see if perhaps he got personalized attention from the staff. * No TVs, no food directly, but since I went on a weekend there was a vendor on-site shelling out hot dogs and pretzels. I imagine there is a rotation of on-site vendors for busy days, but you should plan to eat elsewhere just to be safe. * One line at the cashier to place orders and close out. Then you stand at the bar to get your drink. Not an arrangement I've ever walked into before - everywhere else you just wait and pay at the bar. Having a single line to get in for drinks is not the norm when you're thirsty. Anyway, with a wide selection of beers on tap, I went for the nut brown and the seasonal pumpkin spice stout (since it's a stout on nitro). Both were okay, but a bit hoppy and not really in my upper echelons of beer. Combined with the unrelaxed outdoor seating and the fact I have to drive here, this isn't for me. If I lived within walking distance I might occasion here, but $8/pint adds up pretty quickly. So right now, I'll stick with Twin Elephant as my nearby fave.

Stopped in while waiting for our table to be ready at a local restaurant. They had a plethora of beer options. We ordered a mahalo while waiting for a seat to empty up. They were very limited on non-alcoholic options. I ended up getting a lychee soda. The inside area was very packed I think due to moving all tables inside so it was very tight inside the bar area. They have a very large outdoor seating area which I assume they are packed in the summer. I would have to try again in a warmer season to give a more detailed opinion of this brewery.

Came here with my wife before going out to eat earlier in the week, seems like a great place to go to with friends. Food: though I wasn't a super big fan of their sodas/flavored seltzers, their flannel beer my wife got was a picture perfect ale. Service: the two ladies working the counter were solid. Aesthetic: I really liked the outside, small fire pits linking the land and ample seating. The inside is small but really nice too!

A breath of life has been brought to downtown Denville! Diamond Springs has an awesome beer selection and new beers on tap frequently! They do not have any good but have a good runner stand for those that want to order food from a local restaurant and have it picked up for them. Grabbing some Tacos from Taco Affair and a beer is my go to combo! The like for beer can get a bit long but those working the bar keep things moving and always give good advice when I inevitably get stuck between choices. There isn't much room inside, but the appeal is really the beer garden that has fire pits, live music, Cornhole, and tons of seating.

Wifey tasting her flight
Steve S.

I've now visited Diamond Spring Brewery five times and I love this place. I've been here with Wifey, with friends, and by myself and I'm always glad I stopped in. The service here is sometimes a little slow, but it's usually due to volume. The servers/bartenders are usually really friendly and helpful. I do have to say that the last time I was there they refused to provide a taster, stating they couldn't do that, when every other time I'd been there they allowed me to taste before buying. The beer selection is pretty wide with about ten choices. Not all of them work for me as I hate IPAs and some of the sweet selections were good, but I didn't love them. That said, every time I've been there I've enjoyed my selections and so has Wifey. I love the layout here with all the outdoor seating - reminds me of a shore bar...they even have corn hole boards and a few fire pits. One of the really cool things they do here is offer food runners for you (in NJ breweries can't serve food, but you can bring food into the place). They will run to pick up your orders from the numerous restaurants in the immediate area...a brilliant idea. Not sure of the winter plan, but I'm looking forward to finding out!

Diamond Spring Brewing Company is a new brewery right in the heart of Denville. While they do have indoor seating, most of their seating is outdoors, so it is a perfect spot for a beautiful day. They have picnic tables and lawn chairs. I have been to Diamond Spring twice now, with the most recent time being Saturday. I have tried three of their beers and enjoyed all of them. The coffee Porter has just the right amount of coffee flavor for someone who doesn't like coffee, the blood orange sour was just sour enough. The Island Hibiscus is wonderfully fruity. The only thing I would say is there is something weird with your ordering system and if you order from the guy standing there with the iPad rather than from the person at the bar, he won't ask your name and instead they just take the name on the card you use to pay, but it only prints a couple letters on the ticket, so they may call out the wrong name for you. For example, they called out "Nico" for my order rather than "Nicholas." I plan on heading back asap to try some of their out her selections!

We came right before opening and waited in the car for the doors to open. Upon entering there were several people doing the same thing which speaks volumes for this place. The girl who waited on us was very nice and honest as she gave my gf her brand new Chanel sunglasses she had left on the counter earlier when we were ordering. Thank you! This place has chill brewery vibes as you can see their production area and it's pretty spacey and I love how they are in an old post office building. They have a lot of board games to play while enjoying your beers and they also sell some merch. We ordered a flight: - Resting Grinch Face, Winter Warmer 5/5 - Terrible Twos Anniversary, Imperial Hazy IPA 5/5 - Kite and Key, Hazy IPA 5/5 - BOO-Yah, American Porter 5/5 Every beer was tasty af!!! Autodidact came highly recommended when I asked Reddit to recommend a brewery in North Jersey…read more Glad I made the trip as the beer was definitely top tier. My girlfriend and I stopped in on a Friday evening during a weekend trip to High Point State Park. They only had nine beers on tap but there was nice variety and excellent quality in the lineup. Several IPA's and hazy ales but also a grisette, a German pilsner, an English mild and a milk stout. They don't offer flights. Interestingly enough, as much as I enjoy flights at breweries, I've actually found that not offering them is usually a good sign as it is the mark of a brewery that is serious about beer and knows what they are doing. This was true for Autodidact as each beer was excellent. Five star beer but four star taproom. 6 o'clock on a Friday night but only about seven other people there so it was kind of dead. I didn't enjoy the dim, colored lighting or the cold concrete slab bar. We were sitting at the bar and I hated that the only menu available was behind us so we constantly had to turn around to look at what we wanted next. No beers available in the to go fridge but they were able to make us a few crowlers. We live too far away to come back any time soon, but I'm looking forward to tucking into the beers at home sometime soon.

My girlfriend and I came on a Sunday afternoon and were only able to find street parking a few blocks away. The taproom itself is a beautiful warehouse style space with small decorative revolutionary flourishes, views of the brewing equipment, a long bar but no seating at the bar, long wooden tables and plenty of high top tables, and more than enough tv's to show NFL football. A side business called Salt Pepper Ketchup (a man selling food off a flattop grill and a fryer) was located in the corner. His food looked incredible but we didn't try any. The beer was pretty good, all decent renditions of their respective styles. We each tried a flight and enjoyed what we had. Our eyes were probably bigger than our stomachs as we ordered 2 apps, 2 entrees, and 2 cocktails, and it was an enormous amount of food. The portions are definitely what you'd call hearty, and everything was very tasty. Thursdays are all day happy hour so we picked the fried calamari appetizer at the HH price (still a full and generous plate and didn't seem like a downsized version) which were tender and well-battered, as well as the hot honey wings which were meaty and substantial. The short rib parpadelle with housemade pasta and a perfectly medium-rare, well seasoned hanger steak with truffle fries completed our satisfying and belly-stuffing meal. The cocktails are serious as well - the presence of a drink with egg white is my personal litmus test for a bar that knows what it's doing, so the Thyme to Bloom special had my name on it.
