four different types of beer

Friendly and fast service with delicious and different beers. We had the flight special $15 for 8 tastings. Totally worth it and fun!

Muckraker Beermaker has officially opened its doors Labor Day Weekend of 2019. They specialize in Wild, Funky, Sour and Tart and Spontaneous Ales. I have been to over a hundred breweries and Muckraker is making some of the most creative beers I have ever tasted. There are about seven beers that are on draft, and there are some beers that are only available in bottles that must be consumed at the brewery. Also, there are some bottles that can be taken home, as well. Angel Blend '19, a beer made with Chardonnay Must and Grapes, Fig Juice, Donut Peaches, then it is age in Gin Barrels. It is one of the most complex beers I have ever laid lips upon. I don't think anything like Angel Blend '19 exists in the Wild Fermented World. Chocolate Sunset, another standout beer, was outstanding. The flavor reminded me of a Chocolate, Cherry Yogurt with some Vanilla. It was tart, slightly funky but the chocolate and cherry added an amazing dimension to the brew. When you enter the brewery, the bar area is on the right side. There are some seats available next to the bar, but more seating is located through the door. Picnic tables greet you alongside some barrels that you can place your beers on. There is a small room that is gated off, this has the Coolship and other brewing equipment in it. Surprisingly, the bathroom has one of the most unique settings in the brewery. It is located in the left corner, it is quite hard to miss because a creepy, red light illuminates the floor and walls. There is a barnyard door right before you enter. As If the red lights were not enough, two unisex stalls glow in purple. This definitely gives a unique touch to the bathroom area. (Update) According to the owner, the bathroom has been "de-creeped." Well, I am glad I got to see it when it was eye-catching. Tom the owner, brewer and blender is incredibly nice! Extremely knowledgeable! He made sure to ask everyone how they were doing and if they were enjoying the beer. Feel free to ask him any questions! Overall, I was extremely impressed. Customer service is amazing. The beers are unlike anything that is being made. I am looking forward to more awesome beers! I heard they are going to get a Crowler machine. There are only a select craft beer bars in Northern New Jersey that are getting Muckraker Beers, but to get a wider range of their flavors, it is best to enjoy the beer straight from the source! Cheers!

Great spontaneous beers, super cool owner, wonderful atmosphere. The flight to try all the beers is a reasonable price and the bottles to go are different than whats on tap so you get to try even more beers.

Good beers and slushies! Ask for the Nut Roll. My favorite was the Grand Cuvee wild ale.

There was a birthday celebration going on inside that seemed to take up every table except for the bar. Wasn't sure if they rented out the place as we were still able to come in and get drinks. We ordered one drink each and were in and out quick because it was a feeling claustrophobic from the party going on. I was impressed with the blackberry sour I had. And my boyfriend enjoyed his IPA i can't remember which one he had. Pretty sure it was the Dubco ipa. They also have a food menu seems to rotate the food options here as well. The bbq smelled amazing but we didn't end up getting anything. They are dog friendly and my dog loved it here as the girl behind the bar instantly offered treats and water if she needed it.

DUBCO is a brewery based on Long Island and this second location, on sprawling wooded grounds, is absolutely awesome! The beer selection is varied and good, both on tap and by the can. While they offer a couple of local wines and spirits/cocktails, the focus is on beer. Food-wise, there was pizza and some snacks in-house, but they also bring in different food trucks and outside food vendors. The Octoberfest catering was provided by Trattoria Italiana GWL on the day we went, and the grilled chicken and sausage & onion sandwiches we had were both delicious. The place is spacious both inside and out. There are ample outdoor seating and picnic tables, or you could lay out a picnic blanket on the grass. Family friendly too - the ladies room is large and has a changing table which I appreciated. Picturesque, chill and relaxing, with great beer and food, and things to do in the area. What more can you ask for! 5 stars all the way.

The taproom inside feels cozy, and the two young women working were super sweet about getting us samples and drinks. Get the Endless Summer! It's a light, refreshing beer with the perfect hints of cucumber and watermelon and it is absolute heaven on a hot day. The lime lager was also excellent. We took our drinks and went out to the patio area under the tent where they were doing the pizza vending. There was a nice vibe in the air: a mix of folks and ages, but everyone just chilling and having a fun time. Bugs weren't too bad! The outdoor pizza set up is John's of Arthur Ave, which we have always had as to-go, but wow, they are bringing their A-game here with the outdoor ovens! The pizzas are INSANELY GOOD! Like, Razza-style impressive. We were seriously blown away because it's nothing like what we've had in the past from there. We ordered their white pie with ricotta and the "Bronx Bomber." DAMN. Perfect char and chew on the dough, and while we know that the ricotta on the first pie wasn't homemade, it practically tasted it. The BB pizza was outrageously delicious as well: loved the meat and banana peppers with the hot honey, which we're normally not a fan of, but it was perfect here. Cannot say enough good things about the pizza! Overall, a wonderful visit despite a heated conversation about world events at our table! Four very happy stars and we hope to have just as good of a visit next time, which will hopefully be soon.

Solid beers; good variety,, chill place, nice outdoorsy vibes with plenty of outdoor seating.read more
