There is a large indoor area with the main bar, food-odering station, merchandise area, small stage and lots of tables and chairs. There is an outdoot area with tables (with center firepits) on the street level, but also an elevated deck with additiona tables and chairs. The entire space was well-maintained and very clean. When we arrived, there was a live band playing some classic rock. As the indoor area was a bit crowded at the time, we ordered a few drinks and went out to the deck which was empty. We later even ordered some food at the food station and they brought the food (pizza) out to us. There are a lot of drink options including lots of various types of beer, hard ciders, wines and cocktails. The bar, despite long lines at times, moved very quickly with efficient servers. It was a bit colder when we arrived so the majority of customers were inside, but as the day warmed up, many came outside. Prices were within a reasonable range for the beer and food. All staff we encounteted during our visit were helpful, friendly and efficient.

The staff was lovely. The inside is quiet small so we decided to sit outside. The remaining part of our group ordered two additional wings and each time they came out it was incorrect. That took easily another 40 minutes to get the two correct wing orders out. As well one of our members has a serious celiac condition and cannot have any gluten. Thankfully her meal was the only that came out correctly the first time. Our server Bruce O was very helpful and easily just as frustrated as our meals were consistently coming out wrong and delayed. I do have to say for the amount of issues we experienced I was shocked nothing was comped or that a manger did not come over once and apologize for what had occurred.

My grandparents ran a fresh seafood store for years. They, and others in my family, were excellent seafood cooks. Making a breaded soft shell crab sandwich is an art form. I don't think I had one outside of my family that ever measured up. Usually the shells are over or underdone. D'Boathaus is the ABSOLUTE best soft shell crab I've had outside of my family. The obvious ones are their logo and the beer names like the Rock Scramble (pale ale) and Backbreaker (hazy). They have cool leafy ceiling light covers that add to the theme, and their beer list behind the natural wood counter is called the Trailhead; it looks exactly like one you'll find at the beginning of your hike! Okay last thing is that their taps are pieces of wood with trail markings (painted rectangles) on them. Okay onto the beer: we were lucky enough to come when we could get a flight (they've been selling out because they're so good). We had the pale ale, a hazy IPA, a porter and a seltzer. The Rock Scramble was truly the best pale ale I've ever had (I've had a lot), and I'm sad I don't have more. The biggest surprise was the seltzer - it was SO refreshing and about 500x better than a white claw. I wouldn't have gotten it if it wasn't in the flight, but if you're not a beer person, check if they have this on tap, and you won't be disappointed! They have about 7 tables inside of various sizes with cute mismatched chairs and quite a few picnic tables with plenty of shade in their beer garden. You can also BYO chair! They're adding a cool new outdoor high top seating area on the patio too so there are plenty of options to enjoy your beer. Thursdays are Karaoke night ! so though I didn't show them my non-talent vocals, it was fun listening to others! This Back Road Brewing Co. is a craft brewery as well as a restaurant !! It is known for their handcrafted beers as well as brick oven pizzas, and BBQ!! Also a dog-friendly atmosphere with indoor and outdoor barn seating having live music on weekends! We ordered jalapeno poppers!! Delicious!!!
