There was a nice selection of craft beers, including some local micro breweries like Czig Meister of Hackettstown. Alas, I did not indulge in beer today. Czig Meister hit everything on my list. My girlfriend and I visited on a late Saturday afternoon in September and it was pleasantly crowded so the atmosphere was nice but not crowded to the point where it was obnoxious and hard to order beers. The building itself is a repurposed carriage house from the early 1900's, lending the operation an air of historical, progressive-era American ingenuity and quality. I loved the beer. We tried several beers in the few hours we spent there, and everything we tried was a perfect rendition of its style. Favorites were the Prospector (amber ale), the Lawman Sweet Justice (Hefeweizen with peach and cinnamon), and the Boom Haka Rakau (New England IPA). Another good indicator of a quality brewery? When I'm inspired to buy the beer to go and bring it back home. We bought a pint glass and two four packs to bring home with us, and look forward to enjoying them soon.

I rated them pretty high in Untappd and I am going to carry that over here with a side five star score. I tried just one of their beers but it was quite impressive! The name of the beer was Long Hill Lime which is a Lager. It was very refreshing and very, very flavorful. I was especially happy to have this beer during summertime! Flavor features in this beer are lime, crisp, a dry aftertaste or finish. All of it blends together nicely. The beer is light bodied and "crushable " which means it's very, very easy to have more than one in a single sitting.

All staff are knowledgeable in the brewing and hospitality skills to succeed now and for the long run. Point of sale systems are able to keep open a tab and clearly distinguish ongoing bills. The marketing keeps rights with the sign ups of emails and keeping customer histories. Branding is consistent and relevant leading to a nice, smooth, comfortable customer experience. The two bathrooms are both individual and there are plenty of amenities like nooks and crannies the chat in and coat hooks and ledges and more private corners and food trucks rotate thru the good seasons and lots of lovely people always. Since they don't have gluten-free beer available, I opted to try out some seltzers. I ended up loving a limoncello lavender one that secured its place as my favorite drink there. My fiancé sampled a few different beers and enjoyed most of the selections. They had some more obscure flavors like oyster and pickle, so there's definitely some fun ones to try If you visit. Minus one staff member, I really enjoyed the service we received and it's a place I would return to for another date or with a group.

They distribute heavily around North Jersey where they are located, but few cans make it to South Jersey where I'm from. My girlfriend and I visited the brewery on a Saturday night in September for the first time. I counted 15 beers on tap, a shandy, a hard seltzer (with about 600 flavors available to mix in) a variety of NA beers and an NA seltzer. We each tried two beers and enjoyed what we had, though nothing really wowed us. They had live music outside with a $10 cover charge which is a first for me. I've never been to a brewery that charged for live music. So we sat inside instead. Pleasant atmosphere inside. We were the youngest people there by far; everyone else was in their 50's or 60's. Not sure if that is due to the type of music or if that is a typical Saturday night here. Overall not bad. I don't live close and probably wouldn't go out of my way to come back, but it was a nice enough Saturday night out while we were in the area.

Only after this encounter did he put up an "Employees Only" sign, which tells me it wasn't clearly marked before. This could have been handled in a much more respectful and professional manner. The owner's attitude was unnecessarily rude and confrontational. If he expects people not to go in, proper signage should be in place before the event begins, not after making guests feel unwelcome.
