Very very good burgers! My boyfriend and I were craving burgers and fries. I am vegan and he's a meat lover so I really appreciate places like this where both vegan and non vegans can have a great meal! I built my own burger and got the beyond burger with vegan cheese, the vegan aioli, and other classic fixings. I also added sweet potato fries, which were fantastic, and exactly the type of sweet potato fries you can eat an entire plate of. We came here a few weeks ago, so I honestly forget what kind of burger my boyfriend got, but I know he loaded it up with a bunch of stuff and got bacon on it, and he also really enjoyed it. The only reason why I'm not giving this place five stars is because our waitress only really checked in on us about one time, and it did take her a long time to come back around. We were kind of flagging her down. My boyfriend and I did mention that this place is definitely fantastic in the summer. Especially to sit outside and just enjoy some beers and appetizers. We really did like the inside though. And it's still a great place to check out in the colder months! We'd come back for sure when we get another burger craving! read more

Came here last weekend with my wife and friends because I saw this randomly on Google maps. Definitely a great decision. Food : I ended up ordering a messy mac & cheese burger which was done to near perfect perfection. I also had some delicious steak cut fries with them that I would recommend 10 out of 10 times. They offer a lot unique burger options, and include other burger like meals. Service: our waitress wasn't particularly energetic or thrilled to be there it seems, but she was on top of everything and very nice to us. This is an early Sunday afternoon. We got seated outside fast. We waited and waited for more than 15 minutes. No attention at all. The waitress was still seating the new comers. I went inside and still got ignored. I bet they were short of hands today. We had no choice but to go to another restaurant we used to go to. OMG is our favorite restaurant. I still think so. I will give it another try sometime later. I never give a 1-star rating to a NJ restaurant. Normally if I don't like it I just don't rate it. This is my second attempt at a good experience here. Not thrilled. I'm gluten free and when I asked for a substitute for fries they offered me tots but then never gave them to me. The wait staff is not very friendly. I had to clear my own table and put my things on the nearby empty table because no one was interested in clearing anything away. I came for the burgers and like other reviewers, was not impressed. The patties are premade and I'm pretty sure frozen but they do offer a nice wide variety of build-your-own, which is nice. What was very good: the Bavarian pretzel, best I've had in a long while and the mustard and cheese dips were fresh and delicious. And that French onion soup? A real star of the day. Place is beautiful, too bad the burgers don't live up to the rest of the place and menu. It's definitely worth another try and oh yeah, the beers on tap selection is huge. Service was meh. While visiting a friend in NJ over the weekend we checked out OMG burger and Brew in Long Valley. The interior was very spacious with huge ceilings, a nice bar, tons of tables, and an upstairs area. There were outside tables as well which was inviting also but we chose to sit inside. Our server was very friendly and jumped right into our conversation and started joking around with us and stuff. With that said, she wasn't a great server otherwise. Ten minutes after we ordered our drinks we were curious where they were and looked at the bar to find the bartender just cleaning and doing side work. We then see our server go to a POS screen and then the bartender began working on our drinks. The restaurant wasn't particularly busy so ten minutes to even enter our drink order felt a bit much. I got a "mega-Rita" and it was quite good. It was $16 but it was the size of at least 2 drinks and the flavor was spot on. I'd absolutely order that again. I decided to order the "Jersey Burger" to eat which was a half pound steak burger with American cheese, and Jersey meat (I won't debate pork roll vs Taylor ham) on a brioche roll. The burger was cooked to the temp I asked for (which these days is not close to a guarantee) so I was happy, and the flavor was solid. Good sear on the Jersey meat, and all the flavors together were enjoyable. I also chose to get tater tots in place of the fries. I ate one of Samantha's fries and it was okay but it a menu has tots I normally get them. Total bill for 3 people was right around $100, but a good $42 or so of that was drinks. This was our first and last time at this restaurant. Our waitress an older lady rolled her eyes when we asked for new water at our table. The first water was out of a wine bottle and it tasted off. When we asked for another round of water my husband and I both watched her roll her eyes at us. It just got worse from there unfortunately. It took her forever to come back to our table to take our orders. Not only was the customer service awful but the food wasn't good either. We had to wait for someone to leave to park our car so I'd have to say the parking lot could use some work but don't let it deter you from giving it a try. We waited about 20 minutes, which wasnt bad considering how busy they were. The burgers were cooked to perfection with a Nice char on the meat and good flavor with the toppings. We've been to OMG several times and never had a bad experience. Today's visit was a different story. We were seated quickly upstairs. It took some time for our unfriendly waitress to stop by for drink orders. We weren't given the beer/cocktail list, nor the monthly burger special, so we had to ask. We asked for water and ordered an appetizer. It took forever for her to return to take the rest of our order. In the middle of asking our waitress a question, she rudely turned her back on me. The appetizer never came, the burgers were overcooked, the condiments were missing. Very disappointing. We won't be returning anytime soon. read more

We've been stopping at OMG for the past few years after going pumpkin picking at Donaldson Farms. Every time, I get the craft-your-own burger with a Bison patty. It always comes out delicious. It's served on a 1/8 sheet tray. Their beer selection can be found on Untappd. The hostess and our waitress were very friendly. The inside is very open with very high ceilings. I almost never give five stars but this place deserves every one of them! The 4th of July was a great day to get a cold brew along with a burger - appetizers of calamari and king onion rings started it off and hubby and I were extremely happy, he ordered his usual draft beer and I had my ice water. We then both created custom burgers that were brought quickly to our table. Perfectly cooked topped with carmelized onions and mushrooms, juicy and freshly made. Our waitress Maddy was extremely attentive, and we sat admiring the tall ceiling, lighting and ceiling fans shaped like old windmills. The restaurant was happily quiet, great music was playing so we lingered enjoying our meal and the surroundings. Since we have family members that are vegetarian and also require gluten free meals, it was great to finally see options at a reasonable price for them. We highly recommend making this a destination for a very nice lunch or dinner, especially after viewing the beautiful patio area. Stopped in for a burger and beer. Great selection of beer. The burger was a 5. Thin patty, ordered medium, however with such a thin pre-formed burger, all you get is well done and dry. Again , great beer selection, but be aware. This was the second time eating here, and both times, when presented with the check, they wanted to charge a processing fee for using a debit card! The bar tender said that the additional fee was because we were not paying cash. It is illegal to charge a processing fee when using a debit card. When brought to the managers attention, she said OK we will charge the "cash" amount. Check your bill!!! read more

My son and I were locally in Hackettstown (Centenary Uni) for a Baseball Showcase event and we stopped by OMG for some lunch. My son is gluten free and they have a bunch of options for him! I had the chipotle bison burger and my son custom designed his burger with OMG sauce (yum). My burger came out with coated fries and his with steak fries and the food was delicious. People were so excited for this place to open and after a few of years it's just ok. the food is not bad but it's not knock your socks off. there are so many burgers on the menu which is fun to choose but every time i get something other than a classic burger it's a gamble. it really is a hit or miss when i go so i can't confidently give it a better rating. The service is always a toss up. there have been times we are at the bar at like 9 and they are pissed we are still there. The restaurant itself is in a great location and looks amazing inside. it's in the middle of town across the street from the park. We order from OMG every week, I'm surprised it took me so long to write a review. I am a big fan of their build your own burger and make your own salads. They have a perfect kids menu for my picky eater- cheeseburgers and Mac and cheese. The savory chicken sandwich is my husband's favorite food on the menu and their old bay fries are delicious. I can't say enough about the food, it's really good and fresh. Love the vibe of this place. They have a lot of their own beers on tap, if that's what you're into. The owner, Frank, is exactly who you want to own a restaurant- truly cares about the customer. What prompted me to check if I had reviewed OMG already was that last weekend, my order was missing an item and Frank went above and beyond to get it to me and gave me a free dessert for the trouble. I really appreciated that he cared and didn't say oh well, like some restaurants may do with delivery. We've been here several times. The Grandkids enjoy the food. To be honest the service is typically substandard. Last night there was an unfortunate incident with a bus boy. While clearing a table next to us he dropped some items on the floor resulting in food splashing up on to my wife's back. When she pointed this out he just walked away. Our waitress was near by and she heard the commotion. She called the manager over. This is where it gets bad. The manager asked us, "is there any thing we can do to make this right?" Yes actually, an acknowledgement and apology would be fine. The manager said to us, oh, he's left for the day. I questioned that. I mean, two minutes ago he was standing right there and now he's left? Gone? Really? Yes, I was assured he had left for the day. Don't you know 5 minutes later there he was clearing tables in a different section of the restaurant. This manager made the situation 10 times worse by lying. Why on earth would he do that? I've been curious about this place for years driving past it to visit my ailing parents at Heath Village in Hackettstown. I feel a little sacrilegious ordering a Spicy Thai Salad with spicy marinated tofu chunks instead of a good old fashioned cow made burger or at least a vegan version, Impossible or Beyond Burger, but I made my choice. The salad was really great. I'll be back to try good old scorched cow parts next time.
