    Taro milk boba

Delicious taro boba, would go again! The consistency was thick but the boba was layered with the milk and taro so it was delightful.

Bubble tea is my favorite drink ever and I'm always on the lookout for new places to try with new flavors to discover. So glad I stumbled upon this new place on Yelp! Meow & Sip shares a building and parking lot with the Japanese restaurant, Mr. Sushi. I almost missed the place, not realizing they share a lot lol. Meow & Sip is a "window only" kind of service with one bench positioned right in front of the ordering window. My friend and I went around 8 pm, so the car wash next door was closed and we just sat on the edge of where the Mr. Sushi/Meow & Sip parking lot meets the car wash parking lot. As it got darker, we moved and chatted inside my friend's car. I ordered the Creme Brulee Milk Tea and added boba for 50 cents. SO GOOD. The milk tea is nothing out of the ordinary, but it's delicious and refreshing nonetheless. The "creme brulee" foam was light, airy, and creamy. The caramelized sugar on top gave it the perfect crunchy texture and flavor! The crunch isn't something you get in your typical boba drink, so I enjoyed that a lot. Their boba is very good too - the perfect consistency. When our order came out, the cashier asked us if we wanted a piece of mochi ice cream on the house, so we obviously said yes! I got the black sesame flavor. Yum! Highly recommend this new spot! I'm excited to go back!

New bubble tea shop alert!! Meow and Sip just opened up this month (April 2021) and we welcome it with open arms and mouths! Found out about this place thanks to my sis and bro-in-law who also stumbled upon the shop thru doordash. They share a spot with Mr. Sushi and you order in store or online. There is no indoor area and/or seating but there are a couple of tables outdoors. Parking area is huge which is a plus! As i got my order I could tell this would be an above average tea shop! There is a nice milk and tea ratio and the bobas actually have good texture. Today I tried their taro milk tea and i like that its not the powdered type as it has fresh taro puree although i'd prefer it a little sweeter. The dragon fruit is lovely and has great taste! It's one size only and comes with cheesefoam topping which is a nice harmony of tangy and sweet! Lastly I also got their signature milk tea and planning to bring it for work. Hopefully it will still be good and that the flavor wont disappoint. I know it may be too early to give this place 4 stars but heck this is one of the very few places by me that offers bubble tea so im gonna be supporting it and hoping it stays here for a long time! Will definitely come visit again!

https://www.toasttab.com/meow-sip-186-mountainview-blvd/v3 that is their direct link to their menu qr code on 6/24/23. they have added a ramen shop to their boba shop. my previous review was when they first started it would appear they got their act together and is serving customers again. i got their taro boba milk and milk tea panna cotta with boba. i specifically asked for less sugar and when i got my two drinks. the panna cotta is delightful not as thick as a panna cotta should be but it went so well with the drink itself. a plus. the taro drink was great too a rad sugary but its boba so i forgive them lol great boba shop looking forward to coming more regularly

Pretty good drinks, fav was the brown sugar milk tea and the baby got blue sky which is like a yoghurt drink with less sugar so win win

I dropped by this place the other day because I was craving bubble tea while I was in the area, and they did not disappoint!! We ordered the brown sugar bubble tea and the creme brûlée bubble tea -- both of which were delicious. They were super quick with our orders and very friendly in general. Would definitely recommend!

Great find on Grubhub by the hubby! Didn't realize that a new bubble tea place was open so close to home and along a route that we use a lot to go to our usual places. I love that their tea was not watered down. Husband preferred the taro to be a bit sweeter but I really enjoyed my brown sugar milk tea. Can't wait to go in person and try other stuff on their menu! Welcome to the neighborhood! And thank you for being affiliated with a delivery service for the times I am too lazy to drive. UPDATE: Finally got a chance to check this place out in-person. I went back not once but twice in one day! And I'm very glad I did because I loved everything I ordered. I especially loved that I was given a preview of their new drink to be launched this week...on the house! I was told it's name is "Blue Sky" and it's made from Kefir (something that I had to Google because I've never heard of it before). When I saw him making it, I wondered briefly what it was and who it was for because there is nothing blue anywhere on their current menu. And voila! Was I pleasantly surprised to find him putting it in my tray and saying "It's on the house." Thank you thank you! You truly made my day! Once again, I am so glad to have this place so close to home. A true gem indeed to have this in our neighborhood. Please stay for a long long time!

Peach Oolong Cheese Foam and strawberry cheese foam

We came here and got a strawberry cheese foam and a peach oolong cheese foam, which were both delicious. Good prices and service. We will also have to check out the ramen place(nana noodle bar)that they share the restaurant with.

Ordered a large Taro Milk Tea with boba today and I was so disappointed. First, it looks nothing like the advertised picture. The taro paste was blended so it lost all the texture. Secondly, the lady blended it with MILK instead of Milk TEA. I didn't taste any tea flavor and you can tell by looking at the color of the drink. And I paid $6.6 for it. So disappointed.

Black garlic ramen, shrimp teriyaki, spring rolls and crème brûlée boba tea

Delicious tea, delicious Ramen and rice bowl options. We were pleasantly surprised. Also really cool. They had a robot. Deliver your food to the table.

I absolutely loved the idea and the overall vibe of the cafe. That said, we came specifically for coffee and mochi donuts, and unfortunately those fell a bit short. The coffee was just okay, and the mochi donuts weren't great - ours tasted on the staler side, which was disappointing. Overall, I really think this place has a lot of potential. The service is great and the concept is very unique for this area, and with some improvements to the quality and freshness of the food and drinks, it could easily become a go-to spot. Worth checking out for the aesthetic, but I'm hoping the menu catches up to how cool the space is.

We ordered from a touchscreen kiosk and had the food delivered in plastic containers by a robot. My daughter and I had the black garlic ramen, my wife the spicy miso, and my son the miso with the udon option (75 cents add-on to replace the ramen noodles). We also had pork gyoza and pork steam buns. The food was pretty good. It wasn't the level of some of the NYC or California ramen places that we've been to (e.g. Ippudo, or even the Edgewater Mitsuwa food court ramen--which are amazingly good). However, it was decent especially for the price and we enjoyed it. What struck us as very odd was that we were the only customers in the entire restaurant. Why was a well-reviewed, fairly good place like this not without a single other customer during prime dinner time (6 to 630pm on a Sunday night)? Complete mystery--hoping it's an anomaly as we need good places like this to stay open.

Turns out drive by here all the time so why not finally try!? I ordered the Tonkotsu Shio Ramen with extra pork + egg along with the Pan Fried Pork Buns and Yasai (veggie) Gyoza. The bowl of ramen is big enough for two people so I made it last for dinner and leftover lunch the next day. The pan fried pork buns were my FAVE! There were 3 of them and pretty sizable! The gyoza was okay - next time I won't get the veggie option. Pretty reasonable pricing, it was approx $30 for all of this. All in all, I'd order here again!

I actually came across this place on an Instagram post and decided to check it out. It seems that normally a tea ceremony is something we'd have to book ahead of time (and pay for, apparently) but we didn't know. So, we wandered in and the shopkeep started telling us about teas and she let me smell a green one. I asked if I could try it, she generously said yes, and that kicked off an unplanned tea ceremony. It started off with just my husband and I, but as other people came into the shop, the shopkeep invited them to join us at the table so by the end there was another couple, a woman, the shopkeep's husband and the shop's assistant hanging out together and drinking tea. We learned all about the villages where the teas came from, the differences between some of them, how old the teas are, how the shop came to be, even about the tea table we sat at. Super cool vibe, loved the coming together of strangers bonding for hours over a shared love of tea, but one that I'm not sure can be replicated because again, these tea tastings are meant to be booked ahead of time with your party, and are meant to be a paid service (though in Taiwan, tea tastings are free). We got lucky because the shop wasn't busy and people had cancelled their tea bookings due to an upcoming snow storm. I will most likely come back for more tea at some point. Even if a spontaneous tea ceremony never happens again, I count my blessings that such an experience even happened once, and would still recommend this shop to any Chinese tea lover.
