I have never had a bad experience at this location and I've been ordering occasionally over 5 years. The employees are ALWAYS nice and organized, I even once noticed someone being trained and despite the rush of customers, the person training them was still kind and helped out quickly and effectively (which says a lot about work ethic and made them look good). The drinks are always sweet and made quickly (even when there's a rush, it has never taken me more than 4 minutes to get my order). The drinks are also presented nicely. The location in the mall is also great, since it's located underneath the staircase, the roof seems lower which makes the area less overwhelming. The stools next to it are also convenient and great. It's located inside Willowbrook mall 1 floor. It's very busy on Sunday! Service is quick. They have 3 people at the back just pumping out drinks. Festival decorations for the holidays! This Kung Fu tea is located right in front of food court, mainly a take out store. They have all the popular drinks. In addition they also sell macaroons and large tea bags. The store is very clean and organized. One person is at register, 3 are making drinks in the back, one handing them out correctly, during heavy rush hour. One of my favorite boba store I been too. Everyone here is very friendly and kind. They treat you like family. My go to drink is the Kung Fu milk tea with the brown sugar bubbles. The mango green tea, strawberry lemonade, any selection of the milk tea, Oreo slush and Taro slush are the best. I would recommend any of these drink if it your first time coming here. All the drink taste so good and fresh. I come here at least once a day. If you come to Willowbrook mall you got to stop by Kung fu Tea and grab yourself a Boba. read more

I'm glad that I can still get my boba fix when in the area; given the trying times of COVID-19 for all business. Drinks are ready reasonably quick and the flavor of the tea is consistent and bold like the other Kung Fu Teas in NYC that I frequent. So happy there's a kung fu closer to me. But I ordered seven drinks. I am a regular at the Montclair location and have gone to many in nyc. Please look at your brewing method!!! The green and black teas are both bitter. No one likes bitter tea. Please make sure you are tasting your tea before serving. There is a poke place that serves better tea than this next door. I absolutely love Kung Fu Tea. I've tried so many different drinks and combinations and have every single one of them. The drinks are made fairly quick and they never disappoint. it was around 5:00 pm when I decided I wanted some "Oolong Milk tea" from a known chain I have been at before, Kung fu tea. Never had I ever made a more idiotic decision. After I spent the worst $5.95 I have ever spent, I was drinking what I didn't know would HOSPITALIZE me within a few hours. About an hour and a half passed by, and I start experiencing the beginning of the terrible pain I was about to be in. It started off with casual cramps, a normal light stomach ache. I felt this way for about an hour and 15 more minutes until the pain became unbearable. Advil nor a roll aid fixed this. As I sat there on the couch, getting chills then fevers and cramps, I had enough of this pain and it was around midnight when I was driven to the hospital. The doctor knew I must've drank boba the second she saw my face. I do not recommend this drink. No matter how thirsty you are. Kung fu tea more like kung fuck ur tea. read more

I love bubble tea and I love kung fu tea, but this place has to be the worst one yet. To sum it up this place is just a huge mess: this is the only establishment ever that has had my card repeatedly be unusable (let me emphasize NOT declined) and I think it has to do with what a mess their system is.. usually the register and payment tablet are connected and link up but these look in no way connected which results in so many annoying errors, their delivery apps have so many mistakes and things missing it makes half the menu not orderable, something in their recipes is always off (milk foam way too sour and teas way too bitter, and I love both from other locations), I don't typically order in person but I've had friends tell me the wait is EXTREMELY long even when they are not busy and properly staffed? and even more one drink too it was 15 minutes NOT during a rush period. they refuse to serve the medium size which is very odd? I thought they never had the cups in stock but when I revived a delivery order and asked for the boba in a separate cup it was in a medium!!! so why they don't serve medium just baffles me... I hate wasting drinks especially when they are BAD!! Kung fu tea is not bad, it's great actually, but don't come to this location until they fix their sh1t! Will be taking the half hour drive to the montclair location! Or better yet, the poké place in the same mall has much better drinks too. Just don't waste your time and go somewhere else, you'll thank me. read more
