I can't believe I haven't explored this gem sooner but I'm glad I did! Stopped in for some bubble tea and went with the classic brown sugar. There weren't any odd after tastes and it proportions were well balanced. The staff were friendly and the actual location was super cute with high top seating. This boba spot is a plushie HAVEN! If you're looking for a squishmallow or smiski's. It was so much fun to walk around and look at all the goodies this place had to offer. They have an extensive list of beverages to choose from and their Horchata milk tea really caught my eye. It was so refreshing on a warm day! I mostly only tasted cinnamon but it was still delicious. Their tapioca is really good as well! Such a fun gem in downtown Denville (: read more

No longer serving hot bubble teas, no longer customizing sugar, husband asked for no milk - they said NO, you HAVE to pick a milk substitute. What if I have an allergy to dairy, nuts, and soy?6 for a drink that tastes mediocre. We have supported this business from the start and it's sad to see how they have stepped away from the traditional Taiwanese bubble tea model of customizing sugar, ice, milk, temp, when competitors in the area are embracing it. Update: Bubbles are hard, kids noodles have no meat or veggies, this place is a rip off read more

Two areas that could be improved are customer service and the overall store layout. Customers should always be the priority, rather than staff being distracted by family members or personal conversations. The store could also benefit from additional seating, less clutter, and better organization. There were boxes and excess products throughout the space, making it feel crowded and overwhelming. Clearer information about portion sizes and pricing would also help customers better understand what they're ordering and improve the overall experience. read more

Cute store! I didn't try the boba but I got some chicken bao. The buns had a good chewy texture and mouth feel, the chicken was microwave chicken and the plum sauce was too sweet. Service was super friendly. I would come back and try the boba. read more

This was a cute, unique boba shop right in downtown Denville. The boba itself was ok and seemed mostly made from powder (or at least tasted like it). The shaved ice cream was surprisingly good with creamy shavings (not icey at all!) and a good portion size. However, with that big portion size, I did get a bit tired of the artificial pink sweetness, but that's on me for trying to finish it by myself. They sell a lot of cute trinkets like phone charms and plushies and mini claw machines. I might not come back for boba but I would come again for the shaved ice and to check out their other dishes. The workers were pretty nice and I really liked the light wooden aesthetic. read more

Cute little spot in Denville. It has everything from bubble tea to Pokemon and Squishmallows to a mini arcade and adorable tchotchkes. I dropped by because of rave reviews and was not disappointed. Service is quick and the folks there are super helpful. The passion fruit green tea was delicious and refreshing, but the mango green tea was a bit of a letdown. We'll be going back to try other flavors and other items on the menu. read more

10/10 place to take your kids. Bubble in Paradise is so much more than a boba cafe - it's also a toy store, little grocery / mini arcade. My daughters had a blast running around, checking out all of the squishmellows and playing the claw game for prizes. They could've spent hours. I was too busy chasing around my kids to try out a boba, so I'll definitely be back to do that soon. Great local spot in downtown Denville! read more

clearly customer service needs a little attention. I ordered four drinks, which were just left to be picked up, no bag, no straws, while the other drinks and straws were put in bags for people. When I asked the woman at the register for a bag, she completely ignored me and went about making the next person's drink. When I said, could I get a bag? I asked you a couple times, she stops what she was doing and says to me I am with a customer. so for that, she could stop, but not to give me a bag. The other girl working there, had the audacity to say to me you need to wait, talk about great customer service in this place! I was patient with the woman standing at the register, and asked politely twice, to which she ignored my request. But of course, you would side with the ppl that work there. You being the business owner, or manager, should've come out when you heard my conversation with the woman at the cash register. maybe don't hire people who don't know how to serve customers. You are in the customer service, CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT. You are going off based on what your employees told you, you were not there. It was just two women there, so instead of CLAPPING back from behind a computer, come out and see it with your OWN eyes. i'm sure no one will want to come to a place where the manager goes off on a customer like this. read more

This is a colorful and fun boba shop! I loved the fun environment, and would definitely take kids here. The boba was on the sweeter side. We came after lunch hoping to get a taiyaki fix but once we got there, we were told that they no longer have taiyaki on their menu. They only have egg waffles and shaved ice as their main sweet desserts. Most people went for bubble tea there though I heard people murmur "that looks sooo good" when they saw our order come in. We ordered matcha ice cream on egg waffle with pocky and mochi topping AND strawberry ice cream on egg waffle with red bean and mochi topping. It was a little longer than the 15 minute wait promised. We're patient enough but the toppings were meager and at $9.25, I would expect more. Specifically, the egg waffle was simply not hot at all (it was lukewarm temperature) and the texture was not soft, it was hard to cut through with plastic knife. read more

We love going to Bubble in Paradise!! We go there almost weekly because we love their bubble tea, treats (plenty of snacks!), amazing plushies (many which are very unique and hard to find!), and their overall vibe. I've had bubble tea from a lot of difference places over the last 15+ years - including the city (Flushing, Chinatown, etc.), California (SF), and even Taiwan where bubble tea originated, and hands down BiP has the best bubble tea in the area with the perfect consistency bubbles and flavor. The staff is super friendly, and you can tell that they take great care of their customers. There are definitely regular customers, and Vicky remembers A LOT of people's orders - including ours, which is insane and shows that she has a lot of attention to detail. Don't hesitate to check this place out! You won't regret it. read more

I've been coming to Bubble in Paradise since they first opened--back when I was still in high school--and it's truly become my go-to spot over the years. Even now, as a college student, it's still my favorite place to relax, study, or catch up with friends. Their bubble teas are consistently delicious, and the food and snacks are just as amazing. The quality has never changed--everything is fresh, flavorful, and made with care. They're also incredibly fast with service and have never once gotten my order wrong (which is seriously impressive these days!). What really makes this place special, though, is the atmosphere. The staff is always so kind and welcoming. Vicky and Mr. & Mrs. Chang go above and beyond to keep the shop clean, cozy, and safe for everyone. It's warm, inviting, and full of adorable plushies that make the whole space feel like a little pocket of joy. If you're looking for great bubble tea and a place that genuinely feels like a second home, I can't recommend Bubble in Paradise enough. I'm so grateful to have watched them grow and to still be a part of their journey! read more

I hate to give fewer than 5 stars, because I'm really genuinely thrilled that bubble tea has made its way out to Denville. I ordered a taro milk tea with tapioca. This is my standard drink. It hit the sweet and vanilla-y flavors that I look for in taro, but I wanted it to be stronger. I found the tapioca chewy, which made me question its freshness, but I appreciated that it wasn't drowning in syrup. For these reasons, I'm deducting a star. To me, an aging millennial, bubble tea is a special treat that needs to earn the right to put high fat and sugar content into my body. In other respects, this place is an exemplar of the genre. It is full of anime stuffed animals, the Asian supermarket snacks of Pocky and Yan Yan are well represented, the ambiance feels authentic, and my drink came fast. read more

Made a trip to Bubble in Paradise after seeing them on my Instagram! Ambiance/Parking: I love how it's located on a strip full of small businesses. A bunch of parking out front too! Upon walking in, I was overwhelmed with the different snacks, plush toys and gifts surrounding me. Overwhelmed in a good way. The menu is on the wall so while you're waiting on line you can check it out or you can check out the menu at the register. From Pocky snacks, to key chains, to different drinks they have it all. Food/Drink: You can download their app where you collect points for rewards and order ahead which I always love for a business to have. There were so many tasty items to choose from. I was sold on their split cup where you can order two drinks in one. I also wanted the bubble waffle and taiyaki ice cream but I couldn't eat all of it LOL! I ordered the brown milk tea and taro bubble tea with tapioca. I also picked up two boxes of Pocky and two bubble tea keychains. I spent about $28 in total. My bubble tea was so good! I can't wait to go back and try more. Service: Was super quick! The lady had my cup ready once I said 'split cup." They also sell DIY bubble tea kits which is a cute gift idea. On a warmer day, you can sit outside as the strip has benches. Such a cute little spot! read more

This place is truly amazing. Not only is their food, drinks, and ambiance perfect, but so is their customer service. If you ever want a great place for bubble tea and food, as well as purchasing toys such as squishmallows, Labubu's/ Sonny Angels, etc. THIS IS THE PLACE! Not only did I get an amazing bubble tea, but also purchased 2 Sonny Angels for my collection! Just a heads up though: please be kind to the workers and don't be disrespectful about how many Labubu's and Sonny Angels you can purchase. It's 1 Labubu and 2 Sonny Angels per person, if that's an issue for you, SUCK IT UP! Bubble in Paradise is a business while having a very inviting environment. Don't give the workers a hassle just because you want more toys than they can sell. BE KIND JUST LIKE THE WORKERS ARE. This has and ALWAYS will be my go to spot!! read more

So relieved to find this place. I used to live in California where boba shops are abundant but was not expecting to find much in Morris County New Jersey. When I stumbled upon this place, I was besmirched by it. It was right next to a dairy that looked like it had been there for a while so I wasn't quite sure what to expect. But going in, you could tell that they wanted to make the place stellar. It literally reminded me of stores I've seen in California. They have merchandise, quirky things, and are definitely ready to serve in the safe manner during these pendemic days. I got the taro temptation (see my attached picture). At first I thought it was way too expensive but then what they gave me was definitely large and I felt like it was worth the price. However I had to rate them down one star because the taro shaved ice was lacking in flavor. Everything else was delicious, all the toppings but the taro shaved ice itself just did not have that kick that I'm used to. I'm going to go back though and try something else. Definitely want to sample their menu before I leave New Jersey soon. They also have a great online ordering system that makes it so you don't have to go in and stay very long. Definitely worth trying out! read more

My friends and I wandered in on Saturday night since Denville Dairy was closed. Thank god we did! Bubble in Paradise was great! I loved the plush toys for sale at the front of the store and the menus hanging all around so that you can make a decision while you are in line! My friends got a bubble tea and cup of ice cream and really enjoyed them. I ordered the "taiyaki." It was so great! The fish-shaped waffle was adorable and the ice cream tasted delicious. Honest review. I try new bubble tea places as I come across them and will travel for bubble tea way outside my area so I've had my fair share. Unfortunately this bubble tea let me down! Why were the bobas hard? Why is it so sweet? Why was the almond flavoring SO strong that it tasted like a chemical almost? Sorry I did not like this bubble tea at all. I visited this cafe for its grand opening. If you know Green Seed, the decorations for Bubbles In Paradise is the same. It is very clean and spacious-- there are lots of seating areas available. When you walk in, they have a mochi ice cream bar with lots of flavors. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. I ordered the taiyaki ice cream in red bean flavor. It was very delicious, it came with a stick of mochi on the side. The ice cream was drizzled with red beans which was a great addition to the ice cream. Since it was the grand opening, if you order taiyaki ice cream or egg waffle, you get a free small bubble tea. I got the Taiwanese mango bubble tea and it was yummy. The tapioca balls was a chewy consistency that I like. Overall, I really enjoyed this place and will come back again. Everything is very aesthetically pleasing/Instagram worthy. The portions do come a bit small for the price you have to pay. However, I will still highly recommend this place to anyone who loves desserts. read more
