Came in for the LDW special, 2 for $8 bubble teas. It wasn't really 2 for $8, it was $3.90 off so unless you're getting two plain bubble teas, you'll be paying a bit more. I had the taro slush with boba and hubby had a matcha red bean slush with pudding. KFT is usually hit or miss and this one was a miss. I figured you can't go wrong with taro but for some reason, mine tasted like cool ranch Doritos. The matcha was okay though. Not sure how their other flavors would be but probably wouldn't be back to this location, especially since we were only in the area to run some errands. read more

My boyfriend and I stopped here for bubble tea while out driving. They were prepared super fast and my coconut milk tea with bubbles and zero sugar was perfect. My boyfriend had a different flavor, sweeter but also delicious and refreshing. The store itself is tiny but there are two tables to sit at which we did and were perfectly comfortable and not cramped. Definitely recommend you stop here for refreshments read more

I've been to this franchise in Boston, Seattle, and Montclair. I wish this location had been the one to break the pattern. It is really cramped inside, and like 8 people showed up after I entered to an empty store at 2 PM on a Sunday. Even though I was first, I got my drink after two other people and only because I noticed it sitting by the cash register. There's no handoff plane, no line management, and no communication from the 2-person staff. While I like that they offer 5 sugar levels, that's doesn't make up for the less than fresh taro. And there's only one choice of milk: soy milk. Why not offer more choices at an upcharge, like at any espresso place? read more

Been to the Kung Fu Tea location in Cedar Knolls. The bubble tea is really good and refreshing. They have many different bubble tea, and coffee drinks along with yogurt based drinks and different topping. You can adjust the ice and sugar level to your liking and they also sell fried chicken and sandwiches with TKK express. It's a good place for bubble tea. read more

So happy they opened here! We literally go there 2-3 times a week. Plenty of options for bubble tea, various toppings and their spicy chicken is amazing! The servers are nice and thoughtful. My only ask would be for them to add a "milk" selection option on the app for the non-dairy customers. read more

Whoa so excited about this Kung Fu Tea / TKK Express! I love bubble tea and I love fried chicken and now I can conveniently get both in one stop! This location seems to have opened very recently. It's in a small unassuming strip mall on Ridgedale Ave and it was surprisingly very busy on a Sunday afternoon. The parking lot is small but it seemed like many people were walking and biking here from local neighborhoods. My green tea bubble tea was great - customized to 50% sweet which was perfect for me. The tea was good and not overbrewed or bitter. The boba was perfectly chewy and a little sweet. At first I thought the fried chicken and hot foods seemed pretty random so my expectations were low but I was blown away by the quality of my food! My spicy chicken sandwich was excellent - brioche bun was fresh and not soggy and the chicken was super crispy and juicy! For me the spicy was quite spicy... subtle at first but it will kick in. The wings were awesome and were really big. Also enjoyed the sides - curly fries were crispy, seasoned, and not super oily. The charred corn was delicious - sweet, buttery, and slightly smokey. Quick service for being so busy! Now they're they're newly opened, the line was out the door on a beautiful Friday night. We've been excited! Haven't tried the fried chicken yet, but I absolutely will! With summer ahead, I plan to work my way through the menu. So far, very happy with my mango milk tea. read more

I've had this in New York City before back when I was a middle schooler and fell in love. So I was (and still am) super happy to know there's one not too far from my home. My all time favorite drink is the blueberry creamsicle, good combination of cream and berries. One particular thing I really appreciated was the fact that there's a specified section that's "kid-friendly/non-caffeinated," I thought that was pretty sweet. And of course, I like that there's advertisements for more caffeinated teas, too (I need caffeine to function). It's a great place. read more

Service is good but the drinks are a bit too sweet even I asked for less sugar. Kids love the drinks but not too healthy if it's too sweet.

I was a bit disappointed with my taro bubble tea with almond milk. It was watery with very little taro flavor. I have had it at another location where it was excellent but this day it wasn't worth drinking and was a waste of my money. read more

They never seem to have non dairy milk /options when I go. On one occasion I asked what their non dairy milk options were and they said lactaid. FYI lactaid is NOT non-dairy. Another occasion they said they can make any drink dairy free- again turned out to be false info because 10 mins later they said they couldn't.
