Might have wanted a little more espresso flavor but it was very good. Last biscoff cheesecake, it was a little more dense that what I normally like in a cheesecake but you can really taste the biscoff. Yes! Zoom in, it's as good as it looks. The Mega of all Chocolate Chip cookies! This cookie will satisfy any Chocolate lovers cravings. It has a slight crunch, but soft and think, with silky milk Chocolate chunks throughout! Half a cookie was fulfilling. I've never had a macaroon before and I was convinced to try one, so I became adventurous and bought 2 lemon macaroons (forgot to take a picture) I must say I was not disappointed. The outer shell was light and had a great Snap to it, followed by a nice chewy and soft inner cookie, which was then followed by a smooth lemon cream filling. This review is solely on their gooey chocolate chip cookie. Let me start off by saying I walked in here with 7 other people thinking we were gonna get cake. After looking at the beautiful cakes through the display glass, I think we all realized we were too full to eat anything. Out of courtesy I decided to just get a gooey chocolate chip cookie, left it in the car, went out for drinks, and ate it a few hours later. I shared the cookie with a friend and he said it was better than Levain's in NY, which I'm not quite sure I agree with, but the cookie was definitely good! Even after hours of sitting in a box in the car, the cookie was still very satisfying. I'd definitely get it again. It was a little pricey at $6 a pop, but I think this cookie is better than any cookie I've had at Pudgy's so far. Service was very friendly and attentive. The place gives you a legit homey mom and pop feel. I'll probably be back to try a slice of cake and to get another piece of that that gooey chocolate chip cookie! read more

After an awesome lunch me and my wife decided on some dessert and Eat Cake was our choice! As we walked in there building had a beautiful mural and the aroma of the building was heavenly. I will admit compared to other dessert places in down town Houston the prices were much higher than expected the cheese cake was 12 and the pudding was 8.50. Starting with the cheese cake it was perfect starting with the consistency it broke apart nicely and was chilled at a perfect temp the strawberries were fresh and were covered in red strawberry syrup with was very light yet extremely enjoyable. The cheese cake was sweet yet light and it was also balanced well by a tartness. All in all the cheese cake was awesome now moving towards the banana pudding it was heavenly as well the wafers were so soft and the pudding had lots of banana slices inside which brought a natural sweetness and amazing smell. So I think for the larger cake we needed to let it thaw some more. I have to say I've been looking for a cake place here in Houston and my daughter and I have finally found it at Eat Cake. These cakes are amazing the flavors are really scrumptious and the cake is moist. The only thing I would Nic Pic on is the frosting some of the cakes I would say have to much frosting it's good but a bit much for me only because I'm a diabetic and i shouldn't have it but for the normal soul it's perfect. All the deserts looked extremely delicious but in the end it came down to preference. I'm a huge biscoff fan but on this go round it was disappointingly a miss.
