Arrived inclined to like this place but bad customer service. They need to practice how to speak to the clients. I went to have my iPhone 5S screen repaired with a $55 Groupon but they wanted to charge me $85 for LCD because the screen went black but it still turns ON. I told the young lady "it is just the digitizer" since I know that a pristine screen comes with a new LCD & a new Digitizer. With a NEW screen the LCD & Glass are fused together, but what they are including with the Groupon is the installation of just the glass with nothing in the behind. In other words a new glass is attached onto the old LCD. That is not even a deal.. Apart from that they say its Quick but they take over 24 hours to repair the screen. When it takes less time. It's by demand.. first come first serve. Luckily I recieved a refund. The tech-savvy in me saved me from spending at Easy Tech. The owner keeps trying to trick me as you can read on the comment below: Other places charge $85 for Screen with LCD replacement. Not really giving me a discount there. What is expensive is the LCD & Digitizer. The Glass itself is very Cheap. The screen can be purchased more or less around $50-70 with the LCD & Digitizer. To say that I am unhappy with this "establishment" would be an understatement. I am FURIOUS. I have tried to give myself some time to calm down before writing this review, but it seems that no amount of time will be enough. Let's just say my weekend before Christmas did not go as planned. I had penciled into my agenda that I would spend the weekend recovering from my companies Christmas party and then head over to the malls to do some last minute shopping (you know me, the procrastinator). Any who, that Friday I had a little too much wine (keeping it classy) and dropped my phone. It only suffered a little crack at the bottom, barely visible. I wish it had stayed that way... I could live with it for the time being. Saturday morning I woke up early and headed to my father's house. It was 7am and I was still half asleep - when I walked out of my car and walked only a couple of steps my phone slipped from my hands. WHAT A WAKE UP CALL! It fell flat on its face and I cringed before picking it up. I WISH I HAD NOT GOTTEN OUT OF BED THAT MORNING. My phone was completely shattered! Luckily the LCD screen had remained intact. I have insurance for my phone, but I'm impatient. You know that little voice in your head that tells you when something is a bad idea? Yeah I NEVER listen to it. Maybe for the New Year that will be my resolution... I searched on Yelp and came across two stores that could fix screens. My first choice, unfortunately, was closed for relocation, so I opted for this joint. Why didn't I just wait? :( I called and asked for a price on replacing an iPhone 6 plus screen and the gentleman over the phone responded with $160. Now, my insurance asks for $200, but again, I am impatient and wanted it done THAT day. I drove and I drove so far. I was greeted by a young man (very friendly, I will give this place that much) and he took my phone and indicated that because there were small pieces of glass, there was a chance the LCD could get damaged. I heard an alarm go off in my head, but I felt that this guy knew what he was doing and couldn't possibly let me down. I TOOK MY CHANCES. He told me the phone would take 3 hours to replace and the price was $130, score! When I arrived to pick up my phone I was so excited. I could not wait to see how well they did it. OH BOY. I came in and was greeted by another gentleman and he "regretted to inform me" that my LCD was scratched in the process of the replacement. I swear I had to keep it together... I was going to have a mental breakdown. My beautiful 3 - day old phone was tainted goods! He then proceeded to give me two options: 1. I will only be charged $100 since they scratched it, or 2. I will not be charged for this service, but I can go ahead and order the $300 LCD screen and they will replace it. What? You want me to pay for YOUR mistake. NO. I paid the $128 (I purchased the tempered glass screen protector as well) and left. After about 20 minutes on my phone it started going crazy. Calling people, opening apps, texting - my phone was POSESSED. I immediately messaged the business and explained my issue. Of course they told me that the phone was working great when they had it and they had no idea what was going on... CACA. I now cannot use the letters V & G and cannot use a question mark. I constantly have to lock and reopen my phone before using or it will spaz out. I AM CRYING WHILE WRITING THIS! On Noche Buena I noticed that the screen is now separating from the actual phone. What did you guys use? A glue stick?! I am now on a wait-list with Verizon to receive a new phone. Here is hoping I get it soon! Save your money, folks... Get insurance and pay the deductible. I really don't write reviews but this place messed everything up so badly that I feel I have to. I have a 6 plus that I bought less than 30 days ago and unfortunately dropped it and the entire screen shattered. This place was recommended to me by someone I knew so I figured I should give it a try, the prices were extremely reasonable, especially considering this phone came out recently. I went by at around 4pm one day and they told me I'd have to leave it overnight and they'd have it ready for me the next morning. I read a review on here about the glass getting into the LCD and ruining the display, so I started to panic a little and called asking if they thought this would be the case with my phone. They said I shouldn't have anything to worry about because the shards of glass were rather large. This put me a little more at ease and so I waited for my phone call. Next morning I get my phone back and I notice half my screen has these vertical lines running down the side of the display, and there's a scratch in the LCD right in the middle of the screen. On top of that the top right corner of my phone's siding looked like it was bashed in with a tiny hammer. I was at work and my mom was home so she said she'd take it back to them. They basically said there was nothing they could do and to "go home, turn it off, charge it for an hour and turn it back on. If the lines are still there then the LCD is damaged and you should buy a new phone." EXCUSE ME? Well after charging the phone, the lines are still there although I will say more "faint." I decided I could live with this. However, later that night I went to my car and set my phone VERY carefully on the passenger seat while I started the car. I pick up my phone and notice all of the sudden there is a giant crack in the "NEW" glass right near the front-facing camera. At this point I'm so tired of being angry that I don't even care anymore. I figured the glass they use isn't high quality, and expected cracking would take place anyway. So I figure whatever, it doesn't mess with the visibility of my screen and to have to go back down there would just be an exercise in futility. Next day I wake up and noticed that overnight the crack spread all the way down the center of the screen. Mind you, I have not dropped the phone, I've been treating it like a baby since I got it back. I don't know what these people did to my phone, but going there was the absolute worst mistake I've ever made in my entire life. I should have just gone to the Apple Store and paid more to have them do it right. You REALLY do get what you pay for. I don't know what I'm going to do now as I don't have an upgrade. Now I'm stuck with a cracked phone and they won't do anything to fix it, nor would I trust them to if they even offered. So thanks for one of the biggest f-ups of all time, Easy Tech. read more

The easy tech guys are extremely professional. Not only were the prices extremely reasonable and better than I found anywhere else (around 80-90 for an iPhone 5 screen repair), but the service was efficient and I had my phone back within 45 minutes. I did have to go back because there was an issue with the glue used on the backlight when fixing it, but as soon as I called the guys back, they had me drop the phone over again whenever I could. To make sure there were no more problems, they replaced the entire backlight free of charge. I would recommend easy tech to anyone who needs a quick, cheap, quality screen repair. I haven't used them for any other service, but I'll turn their way for any issues I have in the future. read more

It took them 3 days to repair my phone, and the screen now is pretty messed up. There are four spots that are darkened and look like there are "waves" underneath the new glass. Sure they were cheap, but it was out of the way and now my screen hurts my eyes if i look at it for more than five minutes. EDIT: joel replaced the defective backlight in under 30 min free of charge. Great service ! Even before I came I sent a question through yelp and Joel responded fast. Next day o went over to see him Anreplaced my iPhone 7 speaker same day. Close to my house too. It happened to me at 8:30 am and I was at his store at 10:18 am to see if he could fix it. He got it done for me the next business day and saved my Mac and at a good price for his work. I just brought my phone down there and I'm definitely satisfied with the service I've got. A few days ago I cracked the screen of my iPhone 4 and I've been desperately trying to find a cheap place to fix it. I called different companies and they all told me that it would not cost less than $60 - which I thought was too expensive since the iPhone 4 does no longer have a high value. I finally got to Easy Tech and they charged me $53 (tax included), they've done the job in about 40minutes and now my phone looks like new as before. Gonna try to make it short. My galaxy S5 had a broken camera glass couple of months ago, after it broke it has trouble focusing even when the glass was changed. Sometimes the camera would focus sometimes don't depending on the day light. I went first to other repair stores and they guide me wrong on what I thought was a damaged camera (both told me I had to replace it) because I had taken the glass off many times to clean it up but still didn't focus. The guy at Easy Tech explain to me that the problem will go away if I take the glass off and clean it up my self very carefully because if it was broken it will not focus at all. That he could not charge me for that. At the end I ask him if he could open it, check it out clean it up for me that I will pay. I left the phone 45 minutes because he was busy at that moment. I am again amazed by these guys! My phone went in searching mode, meaning it could not find network, no in or out phone calls, no data service, no text, etc. I took it to a place close to my house, famous cell phone repair chain, they spent 30 min, try some parts and could not fix the problem. So they said I had no option but get a new phone. Then I went back to Easy Tech. Took the same 30 minutes and tried parts without any luck, but the difference is that he did not give up and told me he needed two solid hours to see if he could find the problem. He was willing to work almost 3 hours all together and not charge at all if he wasn't able to fix it!! Well, to my surprise, he did fix it!! And also charged me a reasonable price. He gave me a range before checking it and at the end charged me te lowest end of the range. They are very honest with pricing and they are experts! My daughter took her phone here to be fixed for a cracked screen and she was pleased until her phone started going black on certain parts of the screen, she took it back and they said there was some glue left so they fixed that. She went to NY to university and she called me to say that the phone home button is not working now that Siri keeps coming on and also calling random people's numbers. I got her phone from NY and brought it back to them and they now claim there is nothing wrong with the phone. This place open whenever they feel like it, and they do not care about their customers. I am referring to the west Kendall location. I went here on two occasions to try and fix my iphone 6 screen and both times was a waste of time. The first time, I went with my mom and they made her CRY from frustration. The second time, I went by myself and waited 45 minutes outside in the hot sun sweating for them to open late to no avail (it was a saturday). EDITED: I lowered my review from 5 to 4. The reason is because the screen installed is not an Apple screen but a generic OEM screen. Now, I don't expect to get an Apple screen for $70, but I would of liked to of been told (disclosure). The OEM screen gets the job done but its not as sensitive as the manufacturer screen. It acts a bit funky at times. ---- So this is my story. I broke my phone (5 c) the previous night. It was a freak drop as I had my case on it. I debated getting a 6 plus but thought more about it and decided to repair it instead. I googled some places and this was one of the nearest to me. It has a few bad reviews, but more good reviews and did some research on their pricing and found them to be very competitive. I called on a Saturday and someone answered immediately. I told him my issue and he told me its probably my screen and it was 70 bucks. I said "ok how long ?" He told me 30 minutes. I jumped on my car and headed straight over. Lo and behold I arrive and the store is empty . In less than 30 minutes my phone is fixed ! No extra fees just fast service. Bought a groupon to fix my screen and when I got there the GroupOn was not good for what I needed given a technically but ok I was already there. First talk about inconvenient, you need to make an appointment but not to have your phone fix right then and there, you need to drop it off and it takes a few hours for them to do it so I don't understand the point of making an appointment. Now I have my phone and my screen is less than perfect. It freezes and it is really sensitive sometimes. I try to touch one thing and something else gets clicked. I'm so annoyed and the screen actually seems loose. I can touch one side and see the separation between the screen and the rest of the phone casing. I am not impress! read more

Since she was vacationing in Trinidad, I took it upon myself to get it fixed. I called the store and the guy over the phone gave me a great quote, literally half the price cheaper than other repair places I called! Ok so I must say that this place is a lifesaver! I can be pretty critical of places, especially if I'm writing a review, I don't just give 5 stars for nothing! I shattered the screen on my phone and was going to have to pay Verizon a ton of money to fix it so I decided to give Easy Tech Miami a chance. From the moment I walked in, the gentleman that helped me told me that there was a possibility that my phone's LCD would also be broken and that I run the risk if he just replaced the glass but that he could try. I liked that he was straightforward about the situation and gave me a quote on the worst case scenario. I'm the kind of person that you need to just give the worst case scenario to and he did. I was not being very optimistic because so many things had already gone wrong with the phone that I was just expecting to have to pay the extra money. When I got there to pick up my phone it was as good as new! Literally the best money I have ever spent, and let me say that it was not too much money, better than having to deal with insurance.
