There's some fun drinks going on here. Got to try Pandan Milk Punch and Coconut Negroni. LOVE it. Will come back.

On my last day in New York City before flying back home, I wanted to spend time with one of my favorite people and she recommended we hang around this bar as it is a cool and cute place to be. There's a swap meet outside and inside this bar, and my friend asked me "want to go to a swap meet on Sunday?". I said yes, because swap meets are my jam. We bought some items from the swap meet vendors and that qualified us a free drink ticket. I got the Dirty Birdy, and enjoyed it. I also got a hotdog that they grilled out front, which was delicious. I picked up a cute tote bag that I use all the time. You can find some nice art pieces and clothes at the swap meet here. It made me feel like a cool young person being here.

This review is more for food rather than drink! Chanced upon this place 6pm on a Saturday when I was hungry between work and an evening event. I saw this glorious neon sign "Kitchen Open" beckoning me. Open the door and Korn's "falling away from me" was blasting, the scent of nag champa wafting, and I knew this was the spot for me. I got a breaded chicken sandwich which was bomb, with a good lil side salad. Wolfed it all down with a kolsch and without taking a pic! Actually going to come back for the vegan ceviche and I appreciated that their barfood menu was more fresh and healthy offerings rather than like just, fried things. Hella good vibes all around: All staff were friendly and approachable. It was chill when I arrived but starting to get busy for a show when I left, excited to roll back in here with buds.

Stopped in this bar a couple of times before heading over to Brooklyn Steel for a show. Service was slow at first but the drinks were good and the happy hour specials were pretty well priced. My friend wanted to order the frozen margarita, but it wasn't quite frozen enough so the bartender offered to make her one instead. I thought that was cool of him, instead of serving her a crappy drink. Another cool thing is that they have a decent selection of sliders... and I LOVE SLIDERS!! Unfortunately, we didn't have enough time to wait for the food but enjoyed some crispy french fries with our drinks. The bar has an easy, low-key vibe which I really liked and was lively without being obnoxious. If you're looking for drinks before a show or just in the neighborhood, I'd recommend stopping in. And please try the sliders for me. They looked SO good!

I stopped by here late night about a hr before closing but in that hour , i grew a liking for this place .. it's a intimate space but also has an additional space in the back i was told by the dope bartender . (JB ) was friendly and fully aware andknowledgeable of the spots events . I didn't get a chance to eat because the kitchen literally just closed but the menu looked pretty tasty I will def stop by again to hit up one of the many events they have a grab some food .. GOT MY VOTE!

Great late night spot for some quick grub. Not an extensive menu, but definitively tasty options past 12am that will fulfill your craving. Two sliders for 12$. Fries are 6$ and theres a few different kinds like yucca and beet. Aside from the typical beef (from their neighbors Meat Hook) & chicken options they also have a mushroom croquette type of patty and a beet burger. Pork slider is available as well. The beef was tender and juicy, and the mushroom was delicious as well. Crispy and cheesy. A smart idea would be to round up a gang of friends and all order different sliders because mixing and matching is not an option. The. Get a round of 7$ beer and shots because why not!? Also-the door guy is super friendly and nice! He'll get you some of the yummy chipotle mayo.

Let's start with the good - the service and ambiance were on point. I went on a Sunday evening around 7pm. It was busy inside, but since I was a solo diner I was seated immediately by the bar. The servers were friendly and attentive. Probably 3-4 different people checked in multiple times throughout the meal. Where I struggle is with the actual burger itself. As a non-resident New Yorker, for me $22.50 is a lot to spend on a burger and fries. It needs to rock my world at that price point. And it just didn't. I got the B&B Burger. The onion ring tasted like it had been refried a second time to make my burger. The bread was crumbly like it was on the verge of going stale. The actual beef patty itself was decent - good flavor. Usually I can overlook an okay burger if the fries are top notch, but these fries were under-seasoned and also 'just okay'. I also got a side of Chicken Tenders. These were good - no complaints here. I really wanted to like this spot, but not sure this would be a return visit for me.

My friend was as turned off as me due to what happened (read my previous review) and he headed for the proverbial "Hills". This left me solo and hungry. I started walking northwest knowing I'd find something pretty good. Low and behold Brooklyn Burger and Beer looked like just what I wanted, so I walked in, grabbed a stool at the bar and jumped into their menu. What a difference a 1/2 mile makes! This place was perfect and its menu was choke full of bargains and bonuses. This place was cute; I mean the bar was front and center and was very impressive but the table seating was charming too. Their lunch menu has a great "build your on burger" which i had a blast doing: Burger Cheddar Cheese Bacon Grilled onions Lettuce Tomato Mayo / BBQ con The service was exceptional, the ambience was very "Taverny [sic]" and my lunch was delicious!

Greetings all, it's been a while but here I am. Let's talk about Emily a quant pizza restaurant…read morethat you could easily walk pass and not know what they sold. Today however it wasn't pizza that brought me here, it was the famous Emmy Burger. To begin with the atmosphere of the restaurant is dim lighting a few tables with a reasonable sized bar in the middle of the room. They also have an open kitchen concept where just past the bar you can see the cooks working. My server Inda was polite and knowledgeable about the menu. My burger was excellent, normally I don't eat my burger with a knife and folk, but in this case with all the cheese and sauce oozing down the sides, not to mention the caramelized onions, it was necessary. (If I were home I wouldn't mind having burger juices running down my arm, but other people were eating in the restaurant also). The tiny pickles which I can't remember the name of were an added treat to the burger. I decided to order mine with the loaded fries. Just imagine the ground burger with all the toppings covering french fries and add melted white cheese. Since I was alone I didn't order a pizza because how would I eat it all, but next time I will try the pizza. I don't mind paying extra for a burger when it's aged beef and the taste is great. I definitely recommend this location. There is a fast food burger restaurant next door to Emily's but I can't imagine there burgers compare. I will try them another time and let you know. That's all for now, see you on my next review.

I do have to say that the tables are way too tight next to each other as people kept squeezing in and out. I know it's a small space, but I didn't know I was dining with strangers. Anyways, we started off with the Hot Nguyen Wings ($18), which has a nice spicy glaze from the Gochujang. It also comes with 6 full wings, so you get a good amount of food here --perfect to share with two or three people. The flavor on these were one of my favorites that I'm still dreaming about these. Then we also got The Breeze Pizza ($26) and Emmy Burger ($31). The pizza dough was really good on this with a chewy texture and loaded with toppings. They have so many variations of pizza here that I'd love to try some of the more unique options next time. As for the burger that everyone comes here for, it's good. I can't say it's the best, but it's a solid and very messy burger with lots of carmelized onions. It's also quite a pricey burger, although it does come with some crispy fries. Also, I think the waiter forgot my burger order because every table got their burger before their pizza except ours. When my husband was already on his last slice of pizza, I had to ask if my burger was still coming. By the time it came, I had to eat this by myself and was a bit too full to even enjoy it anymore. Overall, loved the food here especially the wings that I find so underrated. The service was a bit off and it felt like it was just me sadly. Plus, the space is just way too cramped. It looks like others who celebrated their birthday here gets a Banana Pudding, so that's a plus.

They say some things age like fine wine, and I believe this restaurant falls in that category. After 55 years, this family oriented fast food shop known for its famous roast beef sandwich and other popular greasy goodness is still standing. I swung by recently for my usuals and glad to report that everything still tasted the same, just slightly more pricey year after year as expected. My regular order has always been the Roast Beef w/ Cheese, which was maybe $4 when I first tasted it over 25 years ago. It is now $9.45 or $.50 less for no cheese. Regardless, the roast beef (medium) is still tender and juicy, piled on top of a soft and pillowy, freshly made bread that's been dunked in a bath of delicious beef gravy. The ooey gooey cheese makes it complete for me. Everything else is solid. Nothing fantastic or worth driving out of your way for. Don't come here looking for the best version of everything on the menu. However, if in the neighborhood, this place is an inexpensive experience that brings you back in time, when the world was less complicated and a night out with family meant a delicious trip to a local restaurant like Roll-N-Roaster. Enjoy it for what it is and you'll have a good time.

We spent enough ($50) to get a free pizza and that too was tasty - thin crust. Can't wait to stop by again in another few years. It's worth the stop.

I ordered: * Truffle Maker ($11.59) * Truffle Parmesan Fries ($6.50) * Chicken Bites with BBQ sauce ($8.05) * Large Yuzu Honey Lemonade ($4.00) Truffle maker was pretty good and I was glad I was able to remove the caramelized onions and truffle aioli (I'm picky). The bun is soft and sweet and the burger has a good amount of sautéed mushrooms. Truffle Parmesan fries were pretty standard, but still very good. Yuzu honey lemonade has bits of citrus at the bottom of the drink and it was refreshing. I saved the chicken bites hours later and it was still pretty crispy after being microwave. Texture was reminiscent of Taiwanese popcorn chicken, nicely seasoned. Overall had a pleasant experience, I definitely want to return and try the rest of their menu.

Not all restaurants have restrooms that are made available to customers. That is an A+ in my book. Food 10/10 I ordered Hous Burger (hold the onions. Don't at me) it was pretty good. The taste of their burgers is different from most of the burger places I have tried before. I have also ordered Yuzu Honey Lemonade. I was trying to taste the honey in the lemonade. I guess I was expecting too much. The drink was refreshing. I may try the Matcha Yuzu Lemonade next. I met a gentleman who goes by the name Ten P aka 10pushups on IG. He recommended that I try his cola shake. That is what I got, plus the whipped cream. I was honestly looking for the taste of Coca-Cola because Cola is in the name. Regardless of what I expected, the shake was pretty good. I am not a shake person, so when he asked me to try it, I made an exception. Overall: I plan on coming back to Bun Haus. This was good eats.

My wait time wasn't long for a table since I had a reservation. Once seated I ordered the bacon cheese burger with the egg on it with fries. I will say once I got my food it looked delicious. The fries were amazing, perfectly cooked with what has to be the best garlic aioli sauce I have ever had. Now to the burger and I'm sorry to have to say this because I love burgers, I'm a huge burger fan but this was the most greasiest, nastiest oily mess of a burger I have ever had. The bacon was too damn thick and chewy to the point of nausea.
