Located in the south west corner of Dufferin and Steeles. This location has a huge parking lot and plenty of seating options. The takeout door is at the back facing the lot. The crew is plenty efficient and friendly. The decor is nice and has different zones for different enjoyments. The bar area has plenty of screens to catch up on the sports along with great food. There are plenty of daily specials and with today's economy, these are definitely great finds

I felt as though I was welcomed into an Italian home from the moment I walked in. Calamari Al Diavolo arrived sizzling and tender. Linguine Chicken Amatriciana was rich and hearty. The endless soups, salads, and bread made me feel spoiled, especially when cheese was grated over everything. That cozy vibe is perfect for families or a relaxed night out. My first visit was memorable and definitely not my last.

Eating here was a pretty great experience. Back a couple years ago now. Cauliflower pizza crust was exceptionally tasty. Crispier than most pizza crusts, yet still delicious. The calamari was also ordered and worth trying. The wait time was not very significant. Obviously dependent on when one chooses to go.

Above average food and great customer service from my servers Betsy, and Arny the robot. Very clean and zero dead rats on the sidewalk.

After seeing all the bad reviews, I was hesitant to come here. I heard there was a deal going on to getting a free second pasta to take home and I also had a gift card so I decided to give it a try. I heard it was recently renovated and the interior was nice! It was clean and spacious with an open concept. There was also a sit down bar area. I came here on a Sunday evening and it was quite busy, we got seated right away. We ordered the Bacon Carbonara Pasta and Veal Parmigiana. Both meals came with ayce salads or soup & toasted garlic bread. Their bread was delicious and we kept asking for more. The pastas were okay but not the best, it was slightly bland tasting. The portion sizes were also huge and I had to get it to go. After paying, they gave us 2 free pastas of our choice! Overall, it was a good first experience trying this place out, the service was great and the lady that served us was very nice and attentive. I would be open to coming back here one day and trying out their pizzas.

This was my third visit to this location and to be honest I dont know how they're still in business. Over the last few years nothing has changed, the food is insipid at best and service has been terrible with a complete lack of attentiveness along with a total lack of facility upkeep. On this occasion the restaurant was virtually empty yet somehow my waitress was rarely ever seen except to take our order and give us our bill. No refills were offered at any point and we were made to feel like we were a burden. I felt our waitress had other things better to do than serve us or even ask how out meal was. Our starters came and we didnt have cutlery, no one was on the floor for a good 20 minutes I had to chase down another waitress and ask her for cutlery even she didn't bother to get us any. Eventually about 30 minutes after our starters arrived at the table I manager to find a supervisor only after waving my warms around like there was an emergency haha. Once our entrees arrived I noticed my lasagna was completely empty, only the top had sauce and cheese, there was literally nothing in between the pasta sheets. I was shocked that the kitchen would let at dish that clearly didn't meet standards out. I showed this to the manager and she simply said she would take it off the bill. No genuine effort was made to make our experience any better at all. And to top it off the bathrooms were in disgusting condition completely dilapidated and without any soap or hand towels. I'm going to reach out to corporate headquarters, I feel an immediate change in management is needed. Avoid this location at all costs.

Never would I think that Canada has pizza that rivals New York but was proven wrong when visiting…read morethis spot. The line was short during a late lunch on a weekday, and if we had planned better, we would have ordered ahead because you can skip the line. The service was a bit slow; we were thinking they could make so much more money if they just had a New Yorker taking orders, but it was worth the wait for some piping hot, crispy crust. We got a few slices; mushroom blanco (we tasted some truffle oil), a vodka one (all pizza should be made with this sauce instead), a marg and a pepperoni. All the spots were taken outside so we walked 2 minutes to a park and crushed our pieces there and saw a number of others so the same. We brought our empty pizza box back to patio outside the restaurant where they have a designated container for them.

Would come here more often and would've given 5 stars if it wasn't for the long wait time outdoors…read more Parking is also hard to find nearby. We waited for 45 mins on a Friday evening, and ended up getting a parking ticket that was issued 10 mins before we were leaving. But I guess their set up does live up to the "neighborhood pizza" vibe. Their pizza is the best though and I'm not much of a pizza girl. My favourite is the burrata marinara because I find it so unique. The burrata is creamy and go so well against the crispness of the pizza. The vodka slice had the most insane cheese pull and I love that it doesn't have a strong tomato/sour taste. Next time we'll probably order ahead and just get a box!

This place gets a solid 4.5/5 for its authentic southern Italian food and very friendly & attentive…read moreservice. It has a very homey, old-school Italian American restaurant ambience - the opposite of the stylish, hipster or touristy restaurant vibe. Apparently this restaurants gets a lot of regulars, and I could see why. As soon as you walk in, you feel like you're transported back to the 1960s with the red-and-white checkered tablecloths, red chairs, old-style wax candles, brick walls, and a large black-and-white photo of an Italian family on the wall (perhaps the founder or owner's?). I could see this place being a movie set for films that need an old, classic Italian American restaurant as a setting. In addition to the décor, I love the 1960s music being played in the background. Size-wise, the inside of the restaurant isn't that big so it feels very cozy. It can get very busy and crowded after 5 pm, as most people seem to come here for dinner. We came during lunch hour and we were the only patrons there. The southern Italian touches are very apparent in most of their dishes - with heavy reliance on olive oil, tomato-based sauces (especially in the fish and seafood dishes), fresh seafood, herbs, peppers, and vegetables such as eggplant. This is in contrast to northern Italian cuisine that is characterized by rich, creamy dishes using butter, lard, and cheeses, and puts more emphasis on rice, polenta, and meat-heavy dishes (where as seafood is more prevalent in the south). Dishes that we tried: 1) Baccala (Pan-Seared Black Cod) - This was the BEST and my favourite dish here. The black cod had a crispy exterior and flaky interior, and came with roasted mini potatoes and mixed vegetables (zucchini, red bell pepper, Brussels sprouts, eggplant) roasted with garlic -- such a well-rounded and wholesome dish. The roasted mini potatoes were so flavourful, and the vegetables had a nice char. I asked for the puttanesca sauce on the side, as the fish was already flavourful on its own without the sauce. But the sauce was better than I expected - it contained actual whole chunks of cherry tomatoes and olives. 2) Steamed Mixed Fish & Seafood in Tomato Sauce - This dish wasn't on the website menu, but it was on the printed menu in the restaurant. It reminded me of cioppino (Italian-American mixed seafood stew with tomato sauce, herbs, and spices). It came presented as wrapped inside aluminum tin foil, which the server then opened in front of us on the table with steam coming out. The fish was salmon, and seafood consisted of mussels and shrimps. This dish was just alright. For almost $50, there wasn't much seafood. 3) Pizza Funghi - I liked the very thin and crispy crust, and the sliced roasted mushrooms as toppings, but I wasn't a fan of the "truffled honey" they added on top of the pizza. I didn't taste any truffle, and the honey made it very sweet. Not a fan of sweet pizza. 4) SIDES: Rapini, Brussels Sprouts, Mushrooms - They got bonus points for being able to customize the sides. They didn't have asparagus that day, so they substituted it for steamed Brussels sprouts with garlic instead - which was heavenly. The Brussels sprouts weren't overcooked at all, and they were generous with the garlic (anything with extra garlic gets extra thumbs up from me). The rapini came out chopped with a side of lemon wedge. Mushrooms weren't on the menu as a side, but we asked and they were able to make a simple side of just mushrooms. Overall the vegetables got 9/10. The chef was very friendly as he came out and talked to us. The server was extremely attentive. Great service overall.

They have a great stock of wines and an impressive drink list that we don't get to enjoy as we can't handle drinks these days. We do enjoy the food and the friendly service immensely tho. Lots of options for shareable apps; excellent options on pizzas and pastas; and I am always impressed with their mains (as someone that has to limit carbs, options can be limited at some Italian restos). They are also understanding of reasonable diet requests. They have gluten-free options as well. It is more of a "quiet" restaurant in terms of the clientele chatter, at least for the times I was there, so I can hear the music they play ("oldies"!!!!)
