We were seated rather quickly and our orders were taken promptly. Our party of four all had something different. The food was good, not great. Service was good not great. The atmosphere was loud and made conversing next to impossible. I would not choose to dine hear again if we were to return.

Two of us went for dinner last night and it was an ok experience, hence the 3 out of 5 rating. Service was good and our waiter was pleasant and tentative when needed. The food on the other hand was lacking taste and very skimpy on the toppings. We ordered the Arugula salad with pear and prosciutto. The prosciutto was good but the salad had no taste and the cheese shavings were scarce at best. Then we shared a Carne pizza which barely had any sausage topping...this pizza was $18, certainly not worth it! We have been here before and our experience has been the same, will not go back and don't recommend.

Dropped by 9Baci for a quick bite on a Monday night to an empty restaurant. The service here was fast and friendly even with the one waitress as there was just another table aside from mine. Moretti though listed as one of the drafts but it was not available but nicely they have Barking Squirrel from Hop City instead. And they were nice enough to give me extra a pint instead of half pint for the same price.. (smile) Spaghetti Aglio Olio ($9.50) though the portion was smallish but was cooked perfectly al dente. I really wanted to try their Pizza Nutella as dessert or even order a pizza as main. I guess I can try those next visit. Yes, there will be a next visit!

Ugh. Just thinking of the what I ate makes me cringe. The only reason this place gets a star (aside from the fact that you cannot give someone zero stars), is the service - it was great and fast. Problem is, I don't go to restaurants for service - I go to restaurants to eat, and this is the worst food I've had in a while. My penne alla vodka was all lemon juice (?!) and little else - still have heartburn. The ricotta cheesecake tasted like an overly sweet supermarket off the shelf variety. Do yourself a favour, and don't bother with this place - I certainly won't.

Nice crust with a good chew. Good amount of toppings. Really solid New York style pizza. Dave Portnoys pizza review went to their downtown location and gave it a 8.4 if you follow him. There was no parking on Avenue but I found some parking on the residential street just North of the restaurant. The inside is really nice with comfy seating. Not a ton of seating but I think they get a lot of takeout. Service was good but I did have to wait more than the 20 mins they said as they seemed to be dealing with online orders.

The Caesar salad was SO crunchy and fresh--like every bite had that perfect crisp, and the dressing was light but still super flavorful. You can tell the ingredients are really high quality. The pizza was just as good. The Margherita was classic and perfectly balanced, and the Killer Bee side had such a rich, unique flavor that made it stand out. And the crust? Light, slightly crispy, and just done right. Honestly such a solid spot--I'll definitely be back

We got honey garlic and buffalo. The buffalo was pretty tangy and a bit spicy (not really my favourite), but the honey garlic was nice. The pizza tasted fresh and you can tell they use good ingredients. We added the dragon sauce on top and it was such a nice touch. The interior is really cute too, and the service was super polite. They had Christmas decorations everywhere which made the place feel extra cozy, plus a bunch of board games you can play. Such a nice, homey vibe. It wasn't very busy when we went, more laid back and chill, which was actually really nice. Overall, it's a cute local spot and I'd definitely recommend it if you're in the area!

There were some seating outside but it was only the one table for two people. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. The only downfall was that they ran out of meat sauce so the lasagna was out of the question but they made up for it in the pizza flavours. The menu is pretty straightforward; they offer multiple types of pizza ranging from classic meat lovers to unique ones like smoked salmon or tandoori chicken. I ended up ordering the four cheese because I was in a cheesy mood. The pizza was amazing. The crust had a nice puff up but was not so crunch that it would cut the roof of your mouth. The sauce-to-dough ratio was perfect, and neither ingredient overpowered the other. The cheeses they used (Ricotta, Feta, Bocconcini and cream cheese) didn't clash with each other, and it just seemed to be a slice of cheesy goodness with every bite. The pizza was not greasy, so no mountain of napkins was needed. A must-try if your into pizza and like my nannu says in Sicilian "Veni e pigghiati 'u divertimentu" (Come and enjoy it already).

We probably made a mistake when ordering 2 large half and half pizzas as this turned out to be a very pricey pizza dinner (over $80!!) but that's not the restaurant's fault. We'll just be more mindful next time. The pizzas were good and I loved the freshness of the toppings. Unfortunately, I did not love their crust as it was too chewy for my liking. The chicken wings we got was pretty heavily breaded which is also not my favorite way to eat them. We may come back to try their more adventurous offerings.

In terms of the pizza, the dough was fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside. We got the Electric Avenue and Truff Guy which were both tasty but to be honest, I wasn't blown away. Maybe my expectation was set a bit high from previous raving reviews. Toppings tasted good but nothing spectacular. It's also a bit on the pricier side considering the size of the pizza. I totally get why it's a Toronto favourite, but I can't say it's my favourite pizza place.
