Close to both home and work I have driven by here many times. The space is smaller than I thought it would be. There are about half a dozen tables and the rest of the space is kitchen. Menu is one page consisting of salad, pizza and pasta. 3 options for dessert. Pizza is Roman style. Prices are on the higher end with pastas priced between 15 and 22 bucks. Portions are generous though. There is no complementary bread with your meal. We arrived for lunch at noon and there was only 1 other table and as a result service was good. Staffing was 2 people. I ordered the pollo affumicato which is a cream white sauce with spinach and smoked chicken on tagliatelle. Couldn't tell if the chicken was smoked but pieces were generous as was the spinach mixed through. Because it was cream sauce it was a heavy dish. All three pasta dishes came with grated Parmesan on the pasta already so if you don't like, best to mention this when ordering. Someone at the table ordered an expresso to end off their meal and it came with a little cookie. Great neighborhood spot for a quick meal or takeout. read more

After many years I've come back to eat here in the restaurant. It's a small place with a handful of tables and some counter seating. This time we ordered two pastas and a Caesar salad. The salad was decent; crispy and refreshing. The pastas had good texture as expected for their specialty made in-house. However, the sauces were far too oily and toppings were in short supply, making the dish unbalanced. There was basically a puddle of oil left on the plate when I finished. I was quite disappointed compared to my experience during the peak of COVID. Overall, while the pasta itself was good, I would not return due to how they cook the pasta. read more

My best friend's favorite pasta spot, so we've been here quite a few times. My go to is the alla vodka and my best friend always gets the carbonara. We both really like how the pasta is made and cooked everything tastes well balanced and thoughtfully put together. That said, I personally wasn't a huge fan of the smoked prosciutto pizza; I didn't really enjoy the flavor on it? Service has been consistently good when we've visited. Levetto had amazing pizza for such a great price. The amount of toppings and quality of the ingredients was clearly evident. The rigatoni rose was delicious, though the portion was too big for me to finish. The service was great as well. We were seated by the door where it was cold, so we asked to relocate to another table away from the door and the waitress accommodated our preference. The inside had cute decorations for Valentine's Day and it really set the ambiance for a date. read more

My go-to place for affordable homemade pasta. The pasta is freshly made every morning and the menu is nice and compact (only salad, pizza and pasta). Having such a specialized menu means that they really focus on making those items well. It's located in a random civilian strip mall along dufferin (edge on a neighbourhood) and there is maybe like 4 tables to dine in (and one long bar table)? You pay for your food before taking a seat and the menu is illuminated along the wall. The pastas I would say are quite well portioned. They all tasted pretty damn good but my favourite would have to be cacio e pepe (w/ added chicken breast). I like that they shave grana padano on the pasta as a finishing touch. We also tried the affumicato and smoked prosciutto pizzas. The smoked prosciutto pizza was definitely the better one. *chef's kiss* delizioso (and super unique w/ the sweet apricot sauce base). It's pretty much self-service w/ additional condiments so don't be expecting good service at this joint. Top notch food though. read more

This casual Italian place keeps its menu and premises small and its concept casual (almost cafetaria style), which holds down prices. They have a seasonal menu, which is nice in a casual joint. Had the affumicato pizza and pasta. The pizza was decent, though nothing to write home about. The scallions were an interesting touch. The crust was crunchier and brittler than usual pizzas because they do Roman style pizzas. The pasta was alright. It was not as strong tasting as you'd expect from the description (this place is more Italian than Italian American). It was made with fresh pasta (which they make on-site) so it tasted fresh, together with its light sauce. It was extremely under salted though they said they hadn't forgotten the salt. I ordered their takeout pizza and pasta. Their food quality was good. The bread of the pizza was decent with balanced flavour and ratio of ingredients on top. The olive and cheese tasted yummy, and I liked the gentle taste of the onions. The pasta came with decent portion of the noodles, not much veggie and meat though. It was surprisingly spicy, which reminds me of the fusion dish my husband made previously combining Italian noodles and Sichuan peppers. I will consider revisit here in future. read more

Love this location. I believe this is one of the originals of this franchise. The store is very small with only seating for around five tables. Very simple decor with bags of flour and canned sauce in the background. With decent menu of a dozen past the dishes and about 10 different pizzas, you have a pretty decent selection of what to eat. Your solids are also really good. Everything here is made fresh and made to order. I think this place is more popular as a takeout but I have eaten here with my family. There isn't much of a service here as it's almost like a cafeteria style where you order and we take it to a table. A small Italian restaurant out of nowhere located in a small plaza. Small dinning area could barely fist 10 people most orders are takeout. For starters I ordered their arugula salad with dried apricots with virgin olive oil. I greatly recommend this appetizer very fresh tasty and appetizing. Then I ordered 4 different pizzas unfortunately I was not able to take photos of the 2 pizzas naming prosciutto and funghi. I also ordered pepperoni and Margherita the flavor was good I think they can do better on the dough for me it's too thick. I couldn't resist the call for the Penne ala vodka which I didn't regret ordering perfectly cook savoury. I would stay away from ordering beef pasta I find the beef flavor too overpowering and doesn't taste fresh. Overall I like to come here again I think this would be at least my 3rd visit. Levetto has become our favourite place to get quick, tasty Italian food, and also where we set the bar for other Italian restaurants! The handmade pasta is chewy, delicious and cooked al dente, we had a lot of pasta sauce. We got the full sized pizza this time around, and we enjoyed how well the mushrooms were cooked and the taste of the different cheeses on top. Quite cheezy. We like this type of crust on pizzas, where it just surrounds the toppings like so and crunchy, not overly thin or filled with flour. A friendly, affordable, good service Italian restaurant. We came here with family friends around 11:30 when the shop just opens. We were the first one here. It gets busier afterward as more people started to come in and quickly filled the space. This restaurant is pretty small, only a few tables and bar seats. Since it is a large group, we ordered salads, pizza, and pasta. Every dishes we ordered are very good. The portion is pretty good, we end up sharing the dishes. The pasta is very filling. I think the noodles are handmade, it is so fresh and chewy. The salad is fresh as well. The pizza is baked in front of us, a lot of ingredients, cheesy but not greasy. I do not believe this is an Italian restaurant. It is a North American chain (I believe) with high prices and greasy North American pizza. I have been to Europe and this is not what Italy calls pizza. Cut back on the grease and the price. My other diners had recently come back from Italy and were craving a replica of what they experienced in Italy. One thing to consider is that their hours don't go very late. We got there and it was somewhat cafeteria style. Order at the front and get seated waiting for your food. We noticed a lot of people ordering Takeout via Skip or Uber. Something to consider. We placed our order for a pizza and a pasta. The order didn't take too long and the pizza came piping hot. The pasta wasn't as hot as expected but still a good quantity and flavour. Pizza was decent too but a bit oilier than our preference. The ingredients were really fresh. Unfortunately, I am a person of jazz and additional toppings (hellooooo Blaze Pizza). It can be confusing here if you didn't read yelp first, order right when you walk in like at a pizza-pizza but sometimes they bring the menu over and carry on like a waiter in a restaurant bringing napkins, cutlery, condiments and menu. Pizza crust is very light and airy, crust has the crunch while middle has a slight soft chew. Small size pizza is very small which left lots of room for tiramisu. Dessert was good, huge coffee juiciness explosion from soaked lady finger cookies, mascarpone is nice but not as solid/firm as the traditional filling and berry coulis on top did not compliment or do much to the taste profile. Would come back again for pasta but bring small group of friends as finding open tables or counter seating can be hard. This place is great for take out to eat at park across street. read more

Place is physically small but you wouldn't feel that walking in. Is open concept so it's very bright and at the same time, cozy. The staff are really friendly and the decor portrays a very consistent theme. :) The pasta is home made here so it certainly tastes and feels different. Very Italian. :) the menu is smaller than most places, but I think that's even better cause it means they really perfect each dish. I had the carbonara. It was a bit too salty with the bacon and the added salt and not creamy enough. But it still tasted great! I only wish the pasta was hand made and hand cut the old fashioned way rather than by machine. Would give it that huge authentic wow factor. Same with the pizza dough which is hand made but not in house according to one of the lovely staff. But the flavors great, there's no denying good cooking :) Its a little far away for me, but regardless, i'll be back for sure read more

I did not expect Levetto be so crazily busy on a Sunday evening. The takeout requests was just crazy: both phone in and walk in. The wait for food was around 45 minutes. It was kind of insane for pasta and pizza. The quality of the food did suffer due to their popularity. Caesar Salad ($9) was really fresh since it did not involve any cooking. But Affumicato ($8.50) bacon was burnt, I just scraped those off. They forgot my Rigatoni ($14) and the girl gave me a takeout order that belonged to someone else. The braised beef ragu was really good, I would recommend that instead of the pizza. I don't mind coming back but definitely on a weekday. read more

This place is great! The portion size and the food is fantastic (especially for those who like value in their meal). This is designed to be more of a take-out experience, but they set it up so that patrons can eat in house. They've set up a few tables. Have cutlery and napkins at the front for you to grab on your own. And I'm sure they would wipe your table down if you asked them, but I'm a server, so I did it on my own (but you lose a half star for it). Everything here appears to be made in house. From the fresh ricotta to the pasta. We got the Carbonara and the Truffle Cavatelli. Like I said earlier, the portion size is quite generous. I'm not a big eater when it comes to pasta but I can definitely pack a way a bowl of pho twice the size. Anyways the Carbonara is creamy enough yet light so it doesn't instantly feel too heavy. The bacon is the salt element and initially you feels like it's salty, but mix you bowl of pasta and let the cheese melt into it and you're solid. In fact, you might be craving just a tad more salt like I was when the dish mellows out. The Truffle Cavatelli was also phenomenal. Rich earthiness of the truffle cream sauce, the wilted arugula, and the whipped ricotta that helps to add a little lightness to the dish. In my opinion, great dish. I would have preferred even more arugula but I'm being nit picky because the dish was so good that I wanted it to be customized to me. Seriously fantastic meal. Take home boxes are essential. By far, the best pizza spot in the area. Been coming here for a while since they opened up about 2 years ago or so, and they never disappoint me. They simply have salads, pizzas and pasta. Have only tried their salads and pizzas so far, Portions are very generous when it comes to salads, but if you're not into gourmet dishes then this might not be a good fit. My favourite is their chicken pesto pizza, in my opinion their best on the menu. Very small place though, can take up to 25 ppl maybe at max, 4 or 5 smaller tables with like 3 or chairs each.
