If I lived around here, this would easily be a go to spot. Pasta is made in house and it's "quick style" coming so recipes are simple and easy to assemble. The carbonara is a safe order for me cause I know I always like it no matter which location. Just the right amount of creamy and perfect when topped with chili flakes! Staff here are amazing as always. We actually had a baby shower here for a friend of mine and the staff were so accommodating and really well organized. I would hundred percent recommend booking with them for events.
Levetto's... an Italian pizzeria tucked in a very small plaza with very little parking. I came to Levetto's because I heard all the great things about it from their Waterloo location. I came in with very high expectations and left with disappointment. Service was very quick and friendly. They were wonderful to interact with and made sure that I had everything that I needed in a very timely manner. Winter Kale and Pear Salad Lots of Kale, the dressing was light and on the side so you were able to put as much as you want. Nice slivers of grana padano and the pear slices were sweet. I personally don't like salads, but this was good. 8/10 Beef Ragu I was super excited about this because they braise the chunks of beef in this tomato sauce. Honest opinion? I had better. The pasta is fresh and cooked al dente (amazing). The sauce was nothing to be excited about. The marinara sauce was overwhelmingly tangy. But that was it. It was tangy and salty. The beef was very good in that it was melt in your mouth tender. Usually when i eat good pasta, I can't stop eating it. I want to keep shoving it in my mouth. I had a few bites of this and had enough. The portion was quite large though. Enough to definitely feed two or three people. 4/10 Soppresata pizza Surprisingly, this was very good. Their dough is amazing. Not too greasy but flavourful. The soppresata balanced out the tangy pizza sauce (which tastes the exact same as the pasta sauce), the basil and the fior di latte. 8/10 This was quite pricey, i think, for what you got. If you're looking to just hit that Italian craving, they might satisfy it. All I have to say is - pizza. just get the pizza if nothing else.
I am happy that Levetto decided to open up in Aurora. I had been going to their Vaughan location and it was always problem trying to find and an open table at all especially on the weekends! Aurora's location is a lot roomy and with more seating! Pasta and Made when order pizza with high quality and fresh ingredients. My usual order is Slow-Braised Beef Ragu Rigatoni. Simple and delicious food. Fast and friendly service.
Nice little dining establishment in the north end of Aurora. When my friend and I got there there was 1 or 2 other tables occupied. Once we got settled the seats started filling up quick! It seems to be a popular place to get takeout. Lots of people coming in to pick up their orders. In terms of service, a lady dropped off menus at our table, we went to order and pay and get our own utensils and glasses of water. Someone did walk through the tables to make sure that all the customers had everything they needed. Since my friend and I had ordered at different times we got our food separately. If you want to be served together, order together. The ragu was absolutely delicious and the portion is quite large. I had enough pasta for lunch the next day. I read another review that said there usually isn't much meat in the pasta dishes. I'd say there was about 1 spoonful of meat. Maybe a little less pasta and more meat? (Coming from a meat lover)
Absolutely love the place. But you might be a little confused when you walk in. You have to find yourselves a seat first because without a seat, they can't serve you. Next, you must place your order at the cashier, kind of like a fast food joint aka McDonald's. Then you take your seat and they will serve you your food and water. I know! Quite tricky. I ordered the arugula salad - must get! It's fresh and delightful. Not too much oil and vinaigrette. Just the right amount of apricots and toasted almonds to finish the salad with a good bite. Then I got the hollow spaghetti - bucatini! Absolutely delicious. I'm warning you, it's very filling ! I shared these two dishes with my boyfriend and we were done for the night. Delightful! And super friendly place!
3.5 stars - I was craving Italian food and Levetto definitely hit the spot! It's a great place to dine in or take out - the restaurant is quite small with a few tables that might fill up quickly during dinner time. It's kind of like kinda self serve restaurant where you place your order, grab your own water, plates and utensils and wait for the food. I had the mushroom pizza and vodka penne. Both were delicious but the pasta was definitely more flavorful and satisfying! The pizza was a tiny bit on the bland side and had too much crust in my opinion - they could've loaded the toppings a bit closer to the edge of the crust! We only ordered the 2 items from the menu but had to wait quite a while for our food, well over half an hour so I definitely think they could improve on that.

Grab your own water and utensils while you're waiting. I first fell in love with their pizzas when I was living in downtown Toronto. The toppings are fresh and full of flavours, and the crust is very crispy! The following are must-try items :) Salad: The Arugula or Roasted Radicchio would be a good choice for salad. They are light, appetizing, and pairs very well with the white wine vinaigrette. Pizza: Funghi is my favourite one with all those mushrooms! Affumicatto is great for the bacon lovers. Salsiccia is meaty and spicy good #yum! Verde is a very light vegetarian pizza w/ pesto sauce that is not too overpowering. To be honest, all of their pizzas are great lol. Pasta: By far, the Slow-braised Beef Ragu Rigatoni pasta and the creamy Carbonara pasta with Smoked Bacon are my top favourites - my friends and I were fighting to finish them last time lol. Dessert: Panna cotta with a berry compote was heavenly. It was very light and creamy. The white chocolate tiramisu is probably my fave! The crispy lady fingers bring a different twist to the traditional dessert :) I'd recommend this place with my eyes closed. The quality of the food is absolutely fantastic! Considering I have never been to any of the Levetto establishments I had heard good things from my friends that it is a place to visit. We walked in and there was NO GREETING what so ever. We didn't know if it was a seat yourself or a order first place, so we sat down at the first available table. That is when a waitress had come by and gave us menus -- when you guys are ready just go over there to order. Interesting interaction I must say. Think about this. Three females, two pastas, three pizzas a salad and a bottle of wine. I must say we definitely wanted to try everything out! The gentleman who took our order was very pleasant and helpful. His input was most definitely appreciated. We ordered: Panzanella Salad, Bucatini, Carbonara, Patate Pizza, Funghi Pizza and the Affumicato Pizza. (Keep in mind we did it "family style" and we had the pizzas in a small size) The best dishes based on our opinions were the Panzanella salad and the Funghi PIzza. They were both something I would return for because that would be a craving for me. The other dishes were just meh. I understand the pasta is made fresh *based on the video that had been playing on the TV) however I guess I may have had a bigger expectation. Please don't get me wrong, this is based on my own personal opinion (obviously) I just felt there should have been more flavour. I have had pasta downtown and there is definitely a difference. The pizzas were very underwhelming for me. The Affumicato literally tasted like a deluxe pizza that you can get a Pizza Nova or something. Overall, I would only go back for the two items. Finally some solid options for lunch in Aurora! Working up in Aurora and trying to find spots for a quick lunch (take outs) is hard to do but I was so happy when I saw this place was open! According to the server it's been open for 4 months! It's a bit hidden as the strip plaza they are building is right now mainly empty and this is kinda tucked in (it's located right across the Loblaws Superstore on Bayview). For a quick takeout I ordered the small (4 pieces) pizza - Margherita pizza. I like simplicity and the hints of basil and the headiness of the sauce. 4 pieces is good enough for me to tide me over until dinner. I also ordered the spaghetti pomodoro - tomato sauce, garlic infused oil, grana padano cheese. Once again I was looking for simple comfort food to eat on my couch while watching pure trash tv :) The inside décor is rustic and nice - there is plenty of seating and can definitely hold a team lunch here as they have long tables to accommodate. Definitely will be back.
I've definitely been on an Italian food kick lately and while my mouth is thanking me, my mid-section certainly is wondering what I'm doing ... but no one listens to my midsection. It's the ugly, fat kid that no one likes and always kills the vibe when the rest of me is enjoying something amazing - like the food from Levetto. Now, many people might automatically think Pizza when they hear Levetto, but they've got pasta and I would dare say their pasta is more authentic and better tasting (to my palate) than their pizza - but the pizza is pretty good still. Cutting right to the chase, I peeped the menu items and saw a dish I typically make at home and was intrigued enough to see if it performed as well as the best I've had, and of course (brushes shoulders off) my own. Sugo or salsa all'amatriciana is a traditional Italian pasta sauce based on guanciale (cured pork cheek), pecorino cheese from Amatrice, tomato, and, in some variations, onion. Originating from the town of Amatrice (in the mountainous Province of Rieti of Lazio region), the Amatriciana is one of the best known pasta sauces in Roman and Italian cuisine. (Taken from Wikipedia) To those trying to figure it out, it's almost like a penne alla vodka rose sauce except without the parmigianno and heavy cream. In absence of guanciale, it's not uncommon to use pancetta, or even bacon. They use bacon (and LOTS of it). No complaints what so ever. Portion was very filling. Overall, this was spot on. The best I ever had came from a restaurant in Windsor where the dish was cooked table side, so you really cannot beat that. But for the price and the convenience of not having to cook it myself, I'll be back to Levetto for this dish often. I HIGHLY recommend if you've never tried it, you go here for it Eatcrest Out
I really like the concept here. You walk right in and put in your order, pay for your meal and find a seat while you wait for them to make your fresh pasta or pizza dish. Not only was the pasta good but the portions are huge!! I had enough leftover for two meals.
We came from Newmarket because we wanted fresh homemade pasta. Google led us to Levetto Aurora, and it's so good! My husband ordered the meatballs, and I asked if they could make an off-menu item: Cacio e Pepe. It's a favourite of mine, and I had a huge craving. They had no problem putting it together. The pasta is made in-house; you can taste how fresh it is! Delicious. We both enjoyed our meals and will return!
Nice place. Not very large, modern with a practical layout. Friendly staff. I actually liked that you pay first and then sit and wait for your food. No one bugging you if you need anything. The mama or nonna working there is so cute and friendly. I'm assuming it's a family business. Food presentation was well done with delicious flavour. Excellent portions. I can't stand stingy servings. Prices are very reasonable. No concerns.It's fresh food, so you have to pay for that. If you want cheap go to East Side Mario's. Nice place to stop in for a meal. I will be back .
The pasta tastes just like I remember it at the Dufferin location in Thornhill Woods. The pizza however, does not. Idk if it's just this location, but the pizza really was a miss here. The dough was missing crunch and the sauce didn't taste super fresh. I would stick to ordering pasta at this location. Also ordered tiramisu and it was just ok imo. The tiramisu was still a little frozen in the middle lol. Overall, I think the Thornhill Woods location is better but if I'm in the area I'll order pasta here again. There's only a couple pastas I haven't tried yet. Oh yea, they also removed the smoked prosciutto pizza off the menu (BIG SAD). It was such a TASTY pizza when I had it at the Thornhill location. It had a unique, sweet apricot sauce base! Wonder why they chose to remove it but owner, if you're reading this, BRING IT BACK!!! read more

Came because my friends wanted to come after having it at another location. First impression is that the restaurant seems to be more setup for takeout, but has about 5 tables for dine in. You come in and order at the front then take a seat if you're eating in. Considering this, it takes a surprisingly long amount of time (15 minutes or so) to get your food. Pepperoni pizza - Big sized rectangular shaped pizza. The dough was terrible, it dense and tiny bubbly, kinda like baking soda was the leavening agent... I would describe the dough as a dominos thin crust with baking soda added. As for toppings, I would have liked more tomato sauce and cheese to balance out the crust. Would not recommend getting the pizza here. Pistachio Funghi pasta - I only had a couple bites but the pasta was cooked well. The pistachio funghi sauce was tasty as well, pistachio bits added a bit of crunch to the pasta which is nice. A bit pricey but nice to try. After looking at reviews, I think my experience should only be limited to the Aurora Levetto. Will have to try else where to get another Levetto experience. read more

Brace yourself. 5 orders of takeout penne alla vodka. $135. If you don't want sausage subtract $5 per portion. I'll get to that later. The portions are big so right off the bat that is a good thing. Unfortunately that's about the only good thing. Everything else from there on out is a downhill slide. I asked for al dente we got overcooked. The vodka sauce is not vodka sauce it's a tomato sauce with cream and it's quite Bland. I opted for the sausage for $5 more and what did I get? 9 dry, thinly cut slivers of sausage which when stacked together amounted to less then half an Italian sausage (see photo) i believe in second chances. I ate here once before and wrote up a pretty grim review because they were pretty bad and sadly nothing has changed. They are still NOT GOOD AND DEFINITELY NOT WORTH THE MONEY. read more

I've eaten here a few times for sit-down as well as well as take-out. FOOD: The portion sizes appear somewhat larger for the sit-down dishes, and thus likely of better value - it's possible the shape of the take-out container skews this though. The Penne Alla Vodka is one of my go-too dishes here, as the sauce is always quite flavourful. In contrast, the Pistachio Fettucine and the Carbonara were a bit too bland for my taste. Disappointingly their salad menu is seasonal, and much more limited during winter months (i.e. basically just garden or caesar, if I recall correctly). SERVICE: The time to receive dishes has varied, but has definitely felt slower than expected on at least a couple occasions. This is likely due to the limited number of staff that seem to run the kitchen. They are friendly enough though. ATMOSPHERE: Cafeteria style dining, but with more comfortable seats. You need to grab your own utensils and whatnot, but they set things up in a convenient manner. VERDICT: It is still fairly convenient to get pasta here, so I will probably be back. read more
I have come several times since it opened. The food is delicious and portions are plenty. My favourite pizza is the Funghi, so light, crispy and delicious. The pastas are also great.. I love the Rigatoni Ragu.. but as classic Italian dishes..there is not much meat in any of their pastas! My only complaint at Levetto is that apparently the dining area is self serve.. you order up front and pick a seat.. I wish there was a sign for this as I was quite confused my first few times here! read more

5 stars for the pasta , 3 stars for the pizza. Their fresh made pasta is delicious and fairly priced between $10-16. My go-to order is a base pasta of pomodoro sauce & rigatoni noodles with added cherry tomatoes, peas & mushrooms. I ordered the spaghetti once and the noodles were overcooked and mushy. Food was 3/5, but the service brings them up to a 4/5. My acquaintance and I ordered the Carbonara pasta and the Funghi pizza. My acquaintance unfortunately did not want to share the dishes cause she doesn't like pizza (WHAT?!) so I ended up only having a few bites of her Carbonara. From the few bites, I thought the pasta dish tasted quite "homemade"--It was good, but there wasn't enough salt (and I usually prefer lower salt dishes) which I believe made the dish lack flavour. The Funghi pizza had a very lovely mushroom smell and flavour (I might even describe it as a "truffle" flavour) that I really enjoyed. There was the right amount of toppings and cheese and it was quite delicious. As others have noted, their crust is not your usual thin crust; I would describe it as a flatbread with the spongey/sourdough bread texture (without the sour taste, of course). The crust gives the pizza an interesting twist, but does not taste like much. Overall, I've probably had a better version of both dishes elsewhere--nonetheless it was still a very satisfying meal. As mentioned above, their service made this visit very pleasant. They were very accommodating for my acquaintance and I (in fact, everyone in the restaurant was!), and although my acquaintance can be quite demanding, the staff had a smile on the whole time. I felt very welcome. Thus, I will most likely visit again and try out some more of their pastas and pizzas! read more
Love that a Levetto decided to open in Aurora! The gourmet pizza's here are delicious. It is almost like pizza on a crunchy garlic bread. My favourite pizza here is a fungi pizza with mascarpone cheese. The salads are good as well but not enough to be full on. I recommend ordering a few things and sharing between your group. The pastas are freshly made in-house and are tasty as well. Def. a good change from traditional pizza places. read more
3.5 stars, overall good dining experience~ Ordered the fennel salad, rigatoni ragu and the pea pesto cavatelli. Both pastas were good but I was really pleasantly surprised by the pea pesto cavatelli. Very interesting flavours. Not much service but I didn't mind it as that was what I expected walking into the restaurant. it is just a casual restaurant where you order your food at the counter and someone brings it to your table and at the end you walk up to the cashier and pay. Will definitely go back to try their other dishes. read more
Rigatoni Ragu is the best. Arugula salad with white wine vinegar, goat cheese, dried apricots and pumpkins seeds were refreshing. Kudos for keeping the dressing on the side so we can add the amount we prefer. The pizza was ok, a bit soggy, the tomato sauce was really runny. We had it at their Waterloo location and it was not like this. Will return to try other dishes but our go to dish is always the Rigatoni Ragu. read more
I'm always in this plaza to get bubble tea or ice cream, but decided to finally check out Levetto. You order at the counter and then get a table afterwards. The prices are a little cheaper than your regular Italian restaurant and they have all your classic pasta dishes. We tried the pomodoro l, carbonara, and funghi pizza - all the dishes were really yummy! Food came out relatively quickly and the portions were really big (definitely enough for two meals). We really enjoyed our meal, although this probably isn't the most authentic Italian resto you could go to. The only downside is that parking is really limited in this plaza. read more

Pictures looked very promising, very underwhelming food. Ordered a margarita pizza, was like eating a loaf of bread with tomato sauce. Ordered it via delivery, was pretty fresh when showed up. Trying to support small local places and not large chains, but wouldn't order pizza again. I don't expect a large quantity if the quality is there, it wasn't. Would prefer ordering from a chain. read more

Having been to most the other Levetto locations, I was ecstatic to see Levetto open in Aurora! For this meal, my table ordered the Carbonara and Rigatoni since these are our Levetto favourites. The Carbonara tasted similar to the other locations and the pasta's texture was amazing as usual. However, the sauce was also a little more watery compared to the other locations. The Rigatoni had great texture and good taste overall as well but again, the sauce was a little more watery and less rich than usual. Overall, still a great place but could definitely use some fine-tuning! read more

Love the combination of ingredients for pizza !!!! Great little plaza with hidden gem. Inwas there for the elite event and the food is just great. I didn't have chance to try the pasta but the pizza is great. Some are sweet and savory and some are traditional. We also have chance to try the panna cotta but I find the texture is a bit harder than usual. The great thing about going to this resturant is that you can satisfy your sweet tooth with the interesting chocolate and ice cream shop in the same plaza. read more
Could this be a hidden gem in Aurora?! I guess not since my fellow yelpers in Aurora knew about this place awhile ago but I am still glad they took me here to try their pasta! I always wanted to go to Levetto as I heard they are one of the better Italian pizza/pasta chain and it did not disappoint! In a group of 4, we ordered the rigatoni with braised beef, carbonara, Salsiccia Pizza and the Verde Pizza to share. I have to say, I really enjoyed all the dishes but especially the Rigatoni! The texture of the pasta is amazing, pasta done al-dente with delicious braised beef in a surprisingly good tasting tomato sauce. Between the two pizzas, I prefer the Salsiccia more, although a little spicy, but they are not as heavy as the Verde which had a lot of pesto sauce. I will definitely come back for more if I'm ever in the area!! read more
