This company is a joke. Don't WASTE YOUR TIME no cars available and what was available was a piece of junk.

I rented a car on booking.com because it was advertised UNLIMITED MILEAGE. When I arrived to pick the car up I was informed that it would be 25.00 a day for unlimited mileage. By then it was too late to cancel and I had to give up my already paid for rental car. I will not be using them or this rental company again. I felt as though I was tricked. Scammers scam on because there is a special place in hell for those who make money this way. I will be sharing my story in as many places as I can in hopes of these rip offs lose money. I would give you a -1 if I could. read more

they were horribly unprofessional, the car was supposed to cost $180, got charged $375, my insurance which is compatible, was blocked by the lady at the desk, not to mention understaffed and their shuttles cost money as well, not to mention th lady at the desk was horribly unprofessional and slurring her words and was generally slow to react, respond, and talking to customers. Beware of EasiRent. After 45 mins waiting to be picked up by their shuttle, you'll travel 10-15 mins to off-site office in a nearly abandoned industrial park. The when entering the office, they all be in the office behind the desk chit-chatting as you wonder if you're in the right place. Then when you ask, they'll yell out to you to scan their QR code to start the check in process. If you're lucky someone will emerge from the office and offer to check you in. As you check in, watch out for shenanigans such as: 1. TIRE & GLASS PACK - if you don't buy it, they state they will keep your deposit if there's any paint chips on the car when you return it. 2. CDW CHARGE - you'll tell them you have insurance, but they'll charge you for this CDW if you don't present your declarations page. They won't ask for it. You MUST do it on your own Don't wait for them to ask for it. 3. DON'T SHOW YOU THE CHARGES ON THE SCREEN: They don't show you the charges on the screen prior to you signing, like a normal rental company. They keep their screens turned away from the customers throughout the entire process and have you sign on little digital pen pads so you can't see the charges they're hitting you with. 4. DON'T PROVIDE COPIES OF EVERYTHING: After signing waivers (separate sheets of paper not in their system) they don't include those in the final paper work. 3. POOR CUSTOMER CARE - If you challenge their fees, check-in procedures, communication flaws. They'll argue with you and blame you for the breakdown of communication. 4. BOILER PLATE RESPONSES - Writing a review like this will end up with their boiler plate response of "Hello (name), thank you for leaving a review for Easirent Car Rental Phoenix Airport. We are disappointed your experience with Easirent is not as high as we expect and we want to do better! Can you please contact customer services through the "manage my booking" link on the Easirent website. Thanks!" Even though I've already contacted customer services through the manage my booking, I expect to get see this same response because boiler plate responses mean they aren't truly reading their reviews. 4. UNWILLING TO CONSIDER REFUNDS - Even after outlining all of their shortcomings in their check-in process, inconsistencies in the contract vs. how they run their business, and failures to communicate clearly, they'll deny any refunds because you won't have the paperwork you need (missing waivers) to fight them on anything. MORE CONSIDERATIONS: 1. After driving away for 20 mins or so, the air freshener smell wore off and the car reeked of weed. Maybe stick around before leaving to avoid this. 2. They don't have you fill out the forms to identify paint chips, damages, etc. They do it for you and have you sign it. Pretty convenient way to do things when you're gunning to keep someone's deposit from a simple paint chip. 3. When you return your car, you won't know where to go or do it because nothing is clearly marked. After simply parking the car in one of the spaces, I was told by Davonta he'd be right with me. Then I watched 2 more vehicles come up and park in random places as well. Of course, even though I was the first person to arrive, I was the last one Davonta helped. KEY TAKEAWAY I rented cars from both NuCar and Easirent during my last visit to Phoenix. If you're looking for a value rental, with a company that doesn't pull fast ones on you, go with NuCar. Other then NuCar asking if I wanted a special deal on an upgrade, I didn't encounter any of these issues with them. The experience was 100 times better than Easirent. read more

Where do I start... showed that it was at the airport but it's a five minute walk to the shuttle and then approximately a 20 shuttle ride thru the ghetto to the rental agency. Waited at least 30 minutes for the shuttle. Tiny room where they tell you to sign in and scan the qr code on the wall. They are very abrupt when talking to you. Cars are not washed or vacuumed. Best part was the shuttle drivers. read more

I will resist my desire to get an inexpensive rental car, and will never do this again. The people are very nice; shuttle drivers and staff in the office. The car choices were bad and worse. Wound up with one that had a cracked windshield - probably illegal - but better than the one whose seat could not be adjusted for my short legs. I knew that there would be another off-site shuttle necessary after the Sky Train, and if the car had been acceptable that would have been OK. As it is, in 105 degree heat, waiting for a shuttle made everything even more uncomfortable. read more

This is not an airport location as advertised. There is an intermittent shuttle to the airport (once every thirty minutes, they say), but it only goes to the *actual* airport car rental center, not the terminal. You then have to take the Air Train from the *actual* car rental center to the terminal. The whole process is time consuming and someone who does not budget enough time could easily miss a flight. I never purchase insurance when renting cars, but unlike every other car rental company I have dealt with in recent memory, Easirent required me to purchase their insurance, which more than doubled the cost of my rental. What's more, they were deliberately misleading about the charges. They told me the total was $183 at checkout. I very clearly asked if that included all charges and they said yes. Only later did I realize that I had previously paid the car rental fee of $176 through Expedia and that the $180 at checkout was an additional fee for insurance. I thought I was spending $180, but I was actually charged $360. As far as I am concerned, they lied. The car itself was okay, but not great. A little old, scratched and dented in places, and the AC did not work that well. I will not use this rental company again. It would have been cheaper and more convenient to use one of the major national rental companies. read more

I canceled my reservation over the phone 4 hours before pick up. Spoke to a lady with a name that started with M, maybe Magdalena. She "wasn't by a computer" so she wrote my name down to cancel. Well, she didn't and they charged me and now refuse to refund my money. This company is terrible. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Also, if you use Priceline or Expedia, they use this company. Just go to Costco!!! Stay away. read more

I would have rather paid the extra few dollars than deal with the headache and time of getting the car. You have to take a shuttle to the rental place. We waited 20 minutes for the shuttle and then did not make it on the first one so had to wait an additional 30 minutes. Once we arrived at the rental facility it was packed with frustrated travelers. We had to wait an additional 45 minutes. If you don't have the declaration page from your insurance company, you are required to purchase their insurance. The one positive aspect was that the employees were really kind and understanding. It was not their fault. read more

Horrible horrible horrible! Turned away due to no cars, despite having a prepaid reservation. Had to Uber to my hotel and back the next day. Was told that we wouldn't have to pay for gas to make up for it and was given a car on EMPTY! Also, we had to pay the next day to fill the tires due to low pressure! People working there were nice but they were up against it because everything was so bad. Our car has someone's finger nail clippings in the cup holder. Please don't fall for this place! read more

Beware Easirent Phoenix! I booked my car in advance because the agreement clearly showed unlimited mileage. Never again. Not located in the rental center. Waited an hour for the shuttle and finally took a cab for $30. 15 people waiting for cars. Thankfully we didn't wait for the shuttle. Negative 1,000,000 stars: offsite location with a shuttle bus that takes 1 hour+ to arrive at airport; however, they will not open in morning for return, so you will still have to pay for a rideshare to airport. I booked a car through Priceline in Aug 2025 for a large SUV. We arrived to disorganized chaos. No system for checking people in, no staff greeting customers, no informing customers of a wait system. An agent announced, "Does anyone have a booking for a large SUV?" I immediately answered yes; the agent looked at me and and proceeded to give the last large SUV to the family at the counter. Mind you we were on time. After 30 minutes I approached the counter and asked one of agents if they had a system for checking in customers and they pointed to a clipboard without making eye contact...1.5 hours LATER we were called and shown a full size SUV with a SHATTERED passenger window and what looked like bullet holes in the passenger door!!! After having to haggle, we were downgraded and given a small SUV crossover--the agents tried to convince me that a DODGE CHARGER was a comparable car! We were told to come back the next day to exchange the car for a full size SUV. The next day we called for several hours to see if the car arrived. NO ONE PICKED UP THE PHONE, so we were forced to drive there only to be told, "Oh we never answer the phone because we're always busy." Nevertheless, THEY DID NOT HAVE THE FULL SIZE SUV. Furthermore, we were expected to return the car by 8:30am and were told "oh we won't be open at that time." We dropped the key in their lock box and still had to PAY to take a rideshare back to the airport. Furthermore, Priceline agents tell me that Easirent must answer their phone call or emails to approve my partial refund for having my rental downgraded---THREE MONTHS LATER and neither one has helped me. TAKE HEED to the reviews from 2025 which were HIDDEN as "not recommended." Because my review is the honest truth it will probably be sent to the hidden abyss as well. The cheap price is NOT worth your time not your hassle with this car rental company. They are the worse car rental agents I have dealt with in my life. Finally, if after reading my review you're still thinking about actually booking a car with this company visit the Better Business Bureau's (BBB) website and read this company's profile. If you are still delusional, visit the Florida Chamber of Commerce's website and review this company's profile. Many customers unanimously have provided identical warnings about our experience with this business. There is no reason for you to ignore our warnings and choose to give this company your hard earned money and patronage. read more

Car Rental Review: Easirent at Phoenix Sky Harbor - Stay Far Away! I reserved a mid-size SUV for $29.00/day with unlimited mileage while my car was in the shop. Wanting flexibility with my return time, I chose pickup at Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport since many companies there accept returns 24/7. I found a deal through a third-party site (I had points to use) with Easirent, advertising a Toyota RAV4 or similar. This is where things went downhill fast. When I got to the airport, I couldn't find Easirent anywhere. I tried calling the reservation line multiple times--no answer. An airport worker finally told me I needed to walk to the visitor parking area outside the rental center (about a 10-minute walk) to catch a shuttle. I called again to ask about shuttle timing. The man who answered barely gave me any info, told me shuttles run every 15-30 minutes, and hung up quickly. He said I'd receive a link to track the shuttle, but the link didn't work. After 25 minutes waiting in 113°F heat, the shuttle finally arrived--a hot, stuffy van that took another 15 minutes to get to the rental location. Red flag: the building looked extremely sketchy--no signage, barely marked. Inside, it was uncomfortably warm. The woman at the desk ignored me at first, then rudely asked if I was picking up or dropping off. I said I was picking up, handed over my ID, and was immediately hit with, "Since you're a local renter, there's a $500 deposit." I was quoted $250 over the phone, and no one ever asked if I was local during booking. I asked if it was still $500 with a credit card--she said yes. Then another employee chimed in: "There's also a 150-mile-per-day limit for locals." I was stunned. My rental confirmation clearly stated unlimited mileage. When I showed them, their response was, "That's only for out-of-state renters--locals get limited miles unless you pay an extra $25/day for unlimited." Complete bait-and-switch. They blamed the third-party company for not disclosing it, but that's not my fault as the customer. It was clear I was being scammed. I told them I wanted to cancel. They said the reservation was non-refundable. I called the third-party site, who said Easirent would have to approve the refund. The woman behind the counter said, "I'll cancel it. You can go find another company." As I stood outside in the heat, waiting for a ride home with no car, I started reading more reviews--and saw horror stories just like mine. I couldn't believe I hadn't seen them earlier. Bottom line: DO NOT rent from Easirent. It's not worth the stress, lies, and shady behavior. I've rented from Enterprise, Hertz, and SIXT before--never had these issues. Their deposits are reasonable ($200), and when they say unlimited mileage, they actually mean it. Avoid Easirent like the plague. Stick to the reputable companies. read more

I was so hopeful that I would have an easy transaction during my trip. However, my experience was anything but easy. The pick up location is several miles from the airport, and transportation to the location runs every 30-45 mintutes, which is too long to wait when you have a schedule to which you must adhere. When I finally arrived at the pick up location, they were assisting once person, and there was one in front of me (it was around 6:15). By the time I was assisted and my car was pulled around it was dark outside (after 8) and I couldn't inspect the car for damages. The car was fine, but the wait time made the whole experience completely unacceptable. If you don't mind the long wait times and the extra travel to get the car, this may be an ok option for you, but if you need effeciency, just be aware. read more

NIGHTMARE Experience This was by far the worst rental experience I have ever had. We arrived at 1pm to pick up our rental car and were stuck in line for over an hour and half. ABSOLUTELY GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! This was the worst rental car experience we have ever had and i am 51 years old. It started out with us waiting 25 minutes for the shuttle. The pickup of the shuttle was not good, the driver was so slow getting out of the car and didnt help load our bags into the shuttle. His attitude was "I dont care". When we arrived, we were first in line and i was just sitting there in front of her while she was doing other work! When I asked what she was doing. she informed me that she had other work to do before she could help me. After waiting about 10-15 minutes, they informed all 15 of us waiting for our vehicles that there was only 1 car available! There wasnt even a simple "sorry" or any kind of apology. They then said if we weren't happy we could just go somewhere else! One woman had flown in from Australia and was so upset. Another man had his whole family with 3 kids and no car. They told us we could leave or we would have to wait for the cars to come in. The one woman at the counter told us not to get mad at her because "I just work here". Keep in mind we were at the rental car place with nothing around us. The manager then made an appearance and she was even more unapologetic than the employee. She said "someone left on me yesterday, please dont make another person leave". Everyone was being so polite, yet they were acting like they were being abused - it was totally bizarre. Since we were first in line i got the only car they had but it was not the type of car we reserved, which was a Medium sized SUV. We received a SUB COMPACT suv, which is the smallest one you can get. They also told me if there was a chip in the windshield we would have to pay to replace the entire windshield! Worse part about it is that when we got to the car there was already a chip in it, which means they are charging customers over $1000 for a new windshield and then keeping the money. Shady, poor run business. read more

Do not, I repeat, do not rent a car from this place (EASIRENT). I got to Phoenix on 4/23 me and a few of their customers had to wait about 40 minutes for a shuttle (we were told by the shuttle driver she was the only one working). Then we were told by the shuttle driver that it would be a 2-hour wait once we got there. Me and every customer did not get on that shuttle. Guess what, now they don't want to do a refund. Try calling, see what you get. NO ONE PICKS UP. I EMAILED NOW I DID GET responses, BUT NOBODY KNOWS WHAT TO DO. DO NOT, I REPEAT, GO WITH THIS COMPANY. Review for Easy Rent This company was anything but "easy." We picked up our rental car from a secondary location at the Courtyard Marriott in Houston, Texas. At pickup, we were told we had to pay $15 per day for toll coverage we might encounter, or else we would be charged the toll plus a $25 penalty for every toll used. This felt excessive and coercive, but we proceeded because we needed the car. After leaving the location, we drove straight to our destination. The next day, we drove about 50 minutes away. On the return drive, a faulty brake light warning came on, advising us to drive the vehicle to a dealership. Concerned about safety, we immediately contacted Easy Rent and requested a replacement vehicle. We were told they do not provide replacement vehicles, even though it had been less than 24 hours since pickup. When we asked to speak to a supervisor, we were hung up on. After calling back multiple times and repeatedly requesting a supervisor, we were placed on hold indefinitely. Only after Priceline intervened did Easy Rent give us options: either tow the car at our own expense or drive it back, despite the fact that the vehicle was potentially unsafe. We made it clear this was a liability and dangerous. Eventually, we were instructed to call roadside assistance to have it "evaluated." Roadside assistance informed us they only tow vehicles, they do not evaluate them. Ultimately, roadside assistance towed the car to a dealership. We immediately notified Easy Rent of the towing location and requested to speak with someone regarding a full refund. This occurred on December 13, 2025. As of December 16, 2025, we have not spoken to anyone about a refund. However, Easy Rent did call us to ask where the car was and why it wasn't returned on December 15 per the rental agreement, completely ignoring the fact that the vehicle was unsafe and towed with their knowledge. Between the poor vehicle condition, lack of accountability, unsafe expectations, and unacceptable customer service, I would strongly advise others to avoid Easy Rent. This experience was stressful, unsafe, and unresolved. read more

Not so easy! Logistically a nightmare, take the sky train to the car rental plaza, walk out of the plaza for a fair distance, take the elevator to the street level, wait for the shuttle, ride to the facility for 10-12 minutes and be greeted by a long line in an understaffed office. DO NOT RENT A CAR FROM THIS COMPANY. This was a horrible place to rent a vehicle. I had to wait for almost a hour to take shuttle from Phoenix airport to their rental office. When I got there in front of counter, the person told my reserved SUV(3 days reservation) was not available, I had two choices, either cancel the rental or give me a Sedan, this is ridiculous, it's already late, if I cancel, I had to spend another two hours to go back to airport to rent another car, I took the send choice. Sedan renting price is much cheaper than SUV in rental market, there's no negotiation, they wouldn't even consider adjusting the price, staff are rude. Unfortunately, I had a car accident at the second day, gas tank underneath is low and hitting an object on the road(if I had my SUV, it shouldn't have happened), the gas tank's leaking, I bought third party insurance to cover the repair, however, this rental company charged a high admin fee and refused to provide documentation for my insurance company to pay for it, the insurance company only paid for damage repair, it ended up I had to pay the rest of $400. It's the worst rental experience I never had before. Stay away from this rental company. read more

Maya was very helpful and showed great customer service. Her coworker Shaquia was also helpful in checking in the car.

I booked a car rental on the Expedia web site. I paid for insurance through Expedia. At the booking, Expedia said I would owe $92 at the counter. An email sent after the booking explained the rental company might have extra charges. At check in, I handed my documents to the employee Krystal. She said I had a local license, so look at the wall. A small poster explained local drivers would be charged an extra $25 per day the car was driven more than 150 miles in a day. I explained I would exceed that mileage 3 of the 4 days. She said my total would be $296.99, three times what I was expecting from the Expedia booking. Krystal said she looked at my insurance and it only covered comprehensive and collision (I had to assume the extra $139 was insurance). I said I paid for extra insurance on Expedia and was told to call them to get my money back! I was in a tight spot, so I said "Okay, then rip me off" and paid the fee although none of the details of the excessive cost were explained to me. At no time while I was in the office was the rental agreement shown to me, I was not given any choice of options on taking or waiving extra insurance, I was not offered either a paper or an electronic form to sign or initial. A rental agreement was emailed to me. In the spots where the renter is supposed to sign for accept or decline is a line drawn by the employee. In addition to having a large amount of unexplained chares added to the bill, the customer service was horrible. When I entered the office, no one was at the counter and no other customers were present. I signed in and was ignored. Another customer came in and yelled into the back area that he had a return. Krystal took care of him and another customer who arrived later than I did before helping me. After I paid, the key fob was handed over with the explanation that the car was out to the left. I did not know which one, so I honked the horn until I found it. No one reviewed the vehicle for existing damage with me, no one showed me anything about the features of the car or where to find necessary switches. read more

Taking the tram to car rental area was demoralizing. For Easirent elevator was off to the side and not very nice. Waited for the shuttle for 20 minutes and decided to call. I got a live person, outsource, and he was very rude. Once at the rental office, it was very unorganized. Only one worker trying to take care of customers picking up and returning cars. The one worker then had to take customer outside to go over the car with them. One customer asked a working sitting in the back about returning keys. He said just put it on the chair. After a while, there were about five keys on the chair. Nobody had processed them. Once we got up to the counter, which took a while, she did not go out to the car with us.
