It went pretty well! I had to rent a car for the week. The car was good. Had cold AC. The pick up did take longer than I expected, maybe just because I was in kind of a rush. The drop off went pretty smooth. I told them at drop off the car did smell like weed and they charged me a little less for the inconvenience which was nice! This was my first experience renting a car on my own, so they did charge an extra $200 on my card that is supposed to be refunded after drop off. I didn't know they charged an extra "deposit" type fee. So just be aware if you're also renting a car for the first time. Overall, I would rent again. Frequent customers at this location. We had the hardest time with our rental. Changed our plans to camp to 2 states away from original plan with 18 of our friends because the cylinder car was getting 10-15 miles per gallon. Had to switch out 2 rental cars until we got one that didnt throw an error on the dash board. When we came back a day early they made it right. Apologetic, understanding and truly got our dilemma. At 1st this store seemed really cool. The employees.. too. Not anymore. Some little inexperienced gal A combined my ins rental agreement with my personal rental agreement. She was totally inept if being able to credit back 2 different checking. Then horrors, I checked my bank and I have half my insurance money gone. She put in a claim for the whole amount. The whole amount and combine days which they shouldn't have done. I can't buy anything.I can't pay bills.I can't do anything and they're sure pokey, and they've kept my two hundred dollar deposit and double charged me for the rental car after I went in and paid it. Now, it seems like they're trying to get out of it. I will be complaining to the proper entities. My bank says it doesn't see the main refund, which is short over $600. It's actually $700. Doesn't see it trying to be put into my account anytime.Soon so I am literally out money.I hope I can keep my electricity and water on. I would avoid this location. If you are going to require a credit card instead of a debit card for payment and security deposit, you need to make sure all of your vendors securing reservations do the same, such as Costco. You mess up a lot of logistics when your poor management can't get this big detail correct read more

If I could just do a BIG Frown..... 1st the Collision Shop called Enterprise to come and pick me up , I asked the driver if they needed any information from me I was advised (quote from driver ) No Ma'am, for me to arrive @ Enterprise for them to tell me that they have no vehicles for me and to call around ,look up locations on your phone cause we don't give out other location phone numbers. 2nd after I found a location that had a vehicle to be told FIND YOUR OWN Way to that location. So WHY did you pick me UP if you KNEW there wasn't any vehicles at your location for me not to STRANDED. The Customer service was AWFUL, DISREPECTFUL,INCONSIDRATE , just plain STRESSFUL. If you're taking care of the customer and the phone ring answer it and put it on hold or let your other coworker take care of it instead he was talking on the phone like no customer in front of him and it doesn't hurt if you smile. To be honest the people here are very nice and helpful. I picked up the rental here but returned to another location in scottsdale. Giving one star because the other location saying i damaged the car upon returning. I actually turned in my vehicle earlier because they gave me an unsafe vehicle. The seatbelt in this car were not even working. Found this out when i had to brake and all of a sudden my chest is on the steering wheel with my legs all crunched up. I tugged on the seatbelt multiple times and it never locked. Tested the other seatbelts and the latch perfectly fine. So for 5 days my life could have been compromised due to them renting me this car with no functional seatbelt. Im pretty sure thats a lawsuit on your hands. And then they have the audacity to say i damaged the vehicle. Whens the last time you looked at the very bottom of the bumper for damages? They tell you to keep in mind for scratches and dents. Nobody mentions make sure the plastic body trim is perfectly in tact. I attached a picture of the "damages". When i show people this picture they cant even guess what the damage is. Even calling this enterprise to tell them what the Scottsdale location said, the guy on the phone couldnt even tell me what the damage was the first guess. He laughed at it and was surprised they made a claim about it. He said i shouldnt worry about it because its a no fix anyways. So enterprise can inspect every tiny detail on the outside of the car but they dont check the most important safety aspects of the car? The person checking me back in made note accusing me of damaging the car but he didnt want to note the very important detail that the driver seatbelt was not functional? Still no answer. I emailed the person who replied and nkthing. But what they did do is send me an invoice for $1,000. 1k for something i didnt even do. And 1k for a car that shouldnt even be in service!!! I couldve died and theyre gunna send me a bill. Someone from Enterprise already told me this "damage" is a no fix anyways. This doesnt effect the car's performance at all. Even on the invoice it says the value it takes down from the car is $62. Like really?? Youre gunna make me pay you $1000 to not even fix it for a $62 value. read more

They wouldn't be able to give us a full sized car for over an hour past our pickup time when we were there for the car. I am not happy about this car rental place. I highly DO NOT recommend them!!! They are missing two stars because they were late giving us our car. Plus the fact that we got an "upgrade", but we would have not preferred that since we had a long trip ahead and SUVs are not exactly gas efficient. I do want to tip my hat (figuratively, since I don't wear one) to Victor and Gilbert. Gilbert had an extremely difficult customer up in his face. Victor had to step in and back his boy up. They handled it very well. They never lost their cool. Victor eased a tense situation once the customer left by cracking jokes for the rest of us waiting and witnessing it all. I admire these guys' patience. I don't know what I would have wanted to do differently had I been in the same situation. I say "wanted to do differently" because I think I may have lost my cool if I was behind the counter. Honorable mention to Brazil. She got us out of there as quickly as possible once there was a car available for us. read more

Guess I did get the luck of the draw when I came to this Enterprise Rental car during my stint in Phoenix AZ. There were some great points and some good points, albeit the service is slow due to lack of personnel during Presidents Day weekend. I found this Enterprise rental car on Priceline while searching for a cheap transportation option during my stay in the Phoenix area. The PHX airport prices moved considerably higher when i tried to look for something at PHX airport. I booked this car rental for $29/day a week before departure and prices at the airport were at least $48+, so it was decided to save money this way by renting off airport. Enterprise rental car seemed to be the best deal. Only problem is that Enterprise car rental does not do airport pick ups, neither do they do airport drop offs either. Upon arrival, I took a taxi from the airport to the enterprise rental car office on West Glendale Avenue in the Glendale district of Phoenix. The overall experience was great, although as aforementioned earlier, it was slow since they only had 2 people manning operations. I thought both of them handled it all amazingly. It took me about 45 minutes to get checked in and be on my way. This is where the service was slow, but never lacking. It felt like it was being in a doctor's office just standing there waiting to be serviced and having other customers come in and wait alongside with me. I get it that they're understaffed, I've been there too at my own job and it can get get stressful, but these guys can handle it. Julia helped me with my initial reservation and another guy helped me with vehicle inspection before driving it off the lot. The office itself doesn't seem like much, but you can find the service to be good, albeit slower than many other car rental locations I've been at across the country. I just happened to hit a major holiday weekend where they have been swamped and that's okay. The Enterprise car rental office is located within a strip mall along W Glendale Avenue. Easy in and out along the I-17 corridor. There is parking here at the culdesac, although many of the parking spaces were earmarked for the Enterprise rental cars. Office is clean and kind of organized. I'd like to thank employees Julia and Kyle for their warm customer service from check in , how to deal with dropping rental car off at airport location vs original rental location, and asking Kyle if they kept a photo copy of my driver's license on file at the time of check in, and the return, since i lost my wallet with all my credit cards and cash on this trip. They made my car rental experience here at Enterprise Phoenix a little better than what was reality for me. I enjoyed driving the Dodge Dart, which was pretty cool. It drove smoothly and no issues were experienced. I also purchased LDW car insurance from Enterprise car rental company, for just in case protection. They charge $18.99/day, which is less than that of the other major car rental agencies. I checked out this car half tank and returned it more than half a tank, but gasoline was cheap at $1.49 per gallon here, so I didn't really mind. Do search for lower prices off the airport and you'd be amazed at how much you can save. Just be aware that you may need transportation to and from the airport, if you do so. 5 stars. Worst enterprise I've ever been to. Reserved a car 3 week in advance. Went a week before to make sure the reservation was in the system because I didn't get a confirmation email. Everything was in their system. I show up on the day of reservation and they had no vehicle for me. They kept trying to make excuses but didn't give me any options. I called the customer service number and they were no help either. Told me that they will try and figure something out and call me back. It's been 4 days since the incident and still haven't recieved any type of contact from enterprise. The worst part is the person helping me on the day of the reservation tried to dispose of my paperwork that showed my reservation and try to say it was not important to me anymore. read more

I found myself without wheels on a Thursday afternoon because my starter had gone out and the shop could not get to it until the next day. I called the reservation number and reserved a car with a person who wasn't too good with his English. When I got here I was told they had no available cars but I could hang out and see if something came in. They also corrected a lot of my data that the guy over the phone had put in wrong. I hung out until almost closing and was asked if I would mind a truck. At this point I would have taken anything so I ended up with a big Dodge 4x4. From that point on things got better and I was able to make a 6AM delivery the next day. The people here were nice and knew what they were doing. The system sucked. read more

We got Pictures, the lady's name AND a picture of her drivers license.. this company FIXED their own damaged car but refused to fix ours because the lady claimed she never hit us?? Helllllooo we have PICTURES of the exact same damage you fixed on your own car AND we have pictures of the lady AND her license SHE provided. Where do I begin? After confirming reservation and car type 48 hours in advance with this location I am told there are 10 people ahead of me for car. 1 hour wait! After an hour and 15 minutes- my name gets called for a SUV when I reserved a sub or compact car for.my under 5 ft frame. I get told it's spring break , it's spring training (at least they aren't using covid as an excuse). Here's a tip IF YOU DONT HAVE THE CAR DONT TAKE THE RESERVATION. I am now 2 1/2 hours late for work. I wish I could say this is my first encounter with this location, it is not. BTW not even a place to get water. Bad communication. My original destination had changed and HERTZ price jumped from $360 to $1200 and all that was available was a Carolla. I called ENTERPRISE and was elated that the price here was only $550 for a caravan. Steve & RJ had my mind set at ease while here. This was over 6 months ago, but we've been meaning to write this review since we visited Glendale. I was there with my girlfriend, who would be taking the MCAT early the next morning, so we really just needed to rent a car, get to our hotel, and relax for the next day. I had a corporate reservation with Hertz, but after our flight arrived late we realized that we would have to scramble to pick up the car before Hertz closed at 5pm. We called the Hertz rep at the pickup location, and he couldn't have been more rude and unprofessional. Called the Hertz corporate line to report the experience and were promised a follow up response, but of course nothing ever came. Needless to say, I won't use Hertz again. As luck would have it, there was an Enterprise a few blocks away from Hertz, and even though we knew it was closed, out of desperation we knocked on the door after seeing some movement inside. The nicest team of people opened the door and asked how they could help. After explaining our situation, they re-opened the store, rented us a car at a totally reasonable price, and got us out the door within 10 minutes. And they did it in the most friendly, professional, and helpful manner, thanking us for coming in. The contrast between our experience at Hertz and our experience at Enterprise was shocking. The entire team was great, but the standout was Armin Smailagic (we got his card), who is the branch manager. Thanks so much for your help, Armin, you really saved us that night! read more

Had the pleasure of renting a car at this location through the Costco benefit. Gilberto Hernandez and the entire staff were friendly, accommodating, and professional. The first car that we got ended up being too small to meet our needs which included needing to pack a wheelchair in the trunk. They invited us back to the office and did everything possible to get us in a bigger vehicle. We swapped vehicles and were on our way. They were busy but gave us, and everyone else, the time and attention they deserved. Great experience all the way around. Highly recommend. read more

What a nightmare! Called a few days in advance to reserve a car. The rental was through our insurance while the car is in the shop. Over the phone with enterprise we were advised the full cost would be covered and the car would be ready at 8:00 am. Come to find out today that not only is the car not ready but it will be $14 per day out of pocket. On top of that, after waiting 2 and 1/2 hours in the enterprise lobby, the car still isn't ready. Not very friendly. Do not communicate well. We were only 2 miles away and they gave us a pick up window between 1:00 and 2:00. I had to call them several times(got hung up on once) to figure out where our ride was. The driver showed up 20 minutes late. She was not a very good driver and tried to drive away before I got my daughter in her car seat. Wtf, lady? Don't drive away before everyone in the car has a seatbelt on, especially a 6 year old! The level of customer service is very disappointing at Enterprise. The rental company wants to charge a premium but seems to miss the mark with service and value. I had a reservation established for a scheduled time. Also, I had previously called in advance to schedule a pick up. The staff wasn't sure when they could do a pickup even though I called in advance. I certainly got the impression they weren't going to go the extra mile to accommodate. I heard a message loop around on the company phone system while they put me on hold for 15 minutes about how they will pick you up and how they will go the extra mile... The branch manager sure didn't seem very accomodating either. He just had a whole lot of attitude. They just wanted to make me wait over half an hour to get assistance. Equally important, the rental rates seem very high at Enterprise and then they want to tack on all kinds of other fees and charges and sell a bunch of extra a la carte services. It seemed exorbitant and outrageous. In any case, I ended up having to figure out my own ride to the rental car agency. At the end of rental, I had to wait on Enterprise a half hour to return the car and was told it would probably be 45 minutes for a ride. I ended up having to figure out an altertative. I sure didn't feel that my business is appreciated or valued. There was an advertisement sign in the lobby talking about, great cars, great rates and great service... I didn't feel like my experience was so great. Enterprise talks about being a family owned business that treats you like family.... If this is how they treat family I sure wouldn't want to be a member of that family.... It would be interesting to see if anything improves at Enterprise. read more

We've rented from the Glendale location 3 times. Each time the service is better than the previous time. The customer service people are polite and very helpful. If there is an issue with a car it is taken care of immediately. The employees are the reason we will rent from this location again. The only reason not 5stars is that there is a 3.25% "stadium" surcharge (for the University of Phoenix stadium district.) read more

Tried to rent a car for a few days, person on the phone "assisting" with reservations didn't seem to know what was needed and how to go about it. Lack of training? When we arrived the man at the counter was short and rude from the get go. Told us that "he was trying to explain but wasn't going to repeat himself" after we were given multiple different answers for the same question. When I asked to speak with a manager since we weren't being helped in the least, to my complete shock he replied that it was him!? This place is a joke.
