Decided to try out a members deal being offered through my bank and found this company offering a very affordable rate. I'd say this is a great example of 'you get what you pay for'. Overall the booking process was easy and if you can get over the inconvenience of waiting for their shuttle to take you to and from the airport to their off site building then it's worth looking into renting with them. Although their fleet of cars are fairly newer models, the one we got wasn't even washed (the minimum of what I'd expect) and it kept warning us of low tire pressure. Since we were mainly driving around the city I wasn't too worried but we did drive out to Sedona one day and one tire went all the way down to 19psi at which point I had to put air in it obviously. Immediately after putting air in the tires we got a warning for it needing an oil change. They clearly can take the time to maintenance their vehicles better. Again, if you are looking to save money, can afford the extra time to be shuttled to and from their building to the airport then this is the spot for you - I would just check the car thoroughly beforehand. read more

Avoid this company at all costs. Car broke down 45min into trip. Called but no customer service after 9pm (they decided to go home early). Forced to take an Uber to local hotel. It has been nearly two weeks and they have not refunded anything and no communication even after I emailed corporate manager Morgan Koehler (no way to call corporate). Local manger Jaden Curtis seems to be attempting to help but without resolution, who knows. Horrendous experience and even worse professionalism. Do anything you can to avoid this company. read more

IF could give 0 Stars I would! DO NOT rent with this company! I am a local arizona resident. I booked through Expedia with unlimited mileage. Upon arriving they pointed me to a sign where it says local drivers are charged for mileage and also for taking it out of state. This was not what I booked with through Expedia. Then I showed them our car insurance so they would not charge us for that. They said they would email the receipt that something wasnt working right. They said they would throw in additional driver and tire and glass ( which I never have had to get in the past) we told them we had insurance so not necessary. We paid Expedia $275 for the week and they charged us an extra $403. When I called Expedia Easirent said it was not for unlimited mileage that we were charged but for insurance. Which is totally false. My husband signed for the keys but wasn't able to see what was on their computer screen. WHen we got to our car it was filthy, filthy, filthy!!! The gas was only 3/4 full. The lady said there is nothing wrong with the car. It had several dents and scratches which we took pictures of and showed them to the worker. The door also made a weird noise when closed on passenger side which we informed them of. They said they are inputting it into the computer. We wanted to cancel but we would not get a refund because their policy states a time frame for cancellations. When we dropped off I had read the reviews by then and asked for a copy of the statement that said we brought in the car on time, with right amount of gas, and that our deposit was going to be refunded. They tried to say we will email you that. I said no and took a screen shot of the document in their computer. I never have seen anything like this. there are so many complaints with this company!! read more

I booked a rental for 12/26 through expedia. When I arrived at the PHX airport you have to leave the rental facility to go to their offsite location via a shuttle that comes every 30 minutes. After waiting and getting to their location, we were told they only had 3 cars left for about 9 families waiting. They took down my name and never called to resolve. Expedia also would not refund me for a rental that was not available. Poor experience across the board. read more

As well as some of the other reviews I booked thru a 3rd party travel site that stated the Easirent was located in PHX airport which was false. It was offsite and required a shuttle to get to, which signage was terrible at the airport.. I believe we got lucky though as the shuttle got there relatively quick after we found the pick up spot. The driver of the shuttle was extremely nice and helpful. Gave us tips on rental car return which made it super easy for us on our way out. Getting the car was easy, and it was freshly washed, but def had some dirt marks on it, but that was the least of my concern. It was available right away, we did have to pay a $250 deposit like the other reviews said, but we got the deposit back today! I'm guessing this company doesn't do well with a large volume of customers, but if you're traveling around a non busy time and want something that won't cost $400 then check this place out! Cheapest rental I could find for our time here. read more

I rented a car for 10 days at the Phoenix Easirent in Oct. 2025. I didn't realize the rental office wasn't at the airport. I got the shuttle to their nearby location within 30 min. Renting was easy, I received a nice 2025 Chevy Trailblazer comparable to the car I initially rented. I did purchase the extra tire and windshield insurance, because the on a previous trip, I crack the rental window and pay 3 times the price for replacement. Only had one issue with this rental, which is the security system on the car lock up after 7 days. This was solved within 45 minutes and a call to the rental company and then to the Chevy help line. They were both very helpful. The car ran great, good mileage. Return of car and a 30 min shuttle back to the airport went smoothly. Good rental price, so I would recommend if you want to save and don't mind taking a shuttle, and renting from a less know car rental firm. read more

They neve rgave me a rental car, but kept my money. This place was terrible. Their computers were down when I showed up to pick up my car. They could not check me in, take my credit card information, or give me a car, so I canceled and they assured me thar I would receive a refund, but then denied the refund saying that I did not show up. 0 stars. Scam place, car smelled like smoke, front fender held on by zip ties and then i return same day and they say I caused the damage. I rented a vehicle here for a week while my car was in the shop, but the experience was nearly a disaster. Almost immediately after hitting the freeway, I noticed a loud, concerning noise coming from the rear end that sounded like a failing wheel bearing. Because my personal car was finished early, I returned the rental the following day. I expected a simple adjustment to my bill, but instead, I was met by a manager named "Lydia", who was incredibly rude and unprofessional. She flat-out refused to offer a refund for the unused days and insisted on charging me for the full 7-day rental despite the car being in poor mechanical condition. Her "nasty attitude" and lack of basic customer service skills were shocking for someone in a leadership role. I was ready to walk out and escalate the issue to corporate immediately. Thankfully, I encountered another manager, "Nolan", on my way out. Nolan is the only reason this isn't a one-star review. He actually listened, acknowledged the mechanical issues with the first car, and went above and beyond to make it right. He moved me into a much newer, safer vehicle and provided the level of service Lydia clearly lacks. Nolan outshined his peer in every way, but upper management seriously needs to have a conversation with Lydia about how she treats paying customers. If you visit this location, ask for Nolan avoid and please Lydia at all cost. read more

This is worst place to rent a vehicle First they falsely advertised they are in phoenix airport, not true off sight location about 20 minutes away The customer service is horrible, girl at counter eating while trying help. Check out took over 30 minutes after they try to strong arm into buying unnecessary added insurance after you tell them you pre purchased. The vehicle rented was a complete downgraded one that was dirty with awful cigarette stench. We brought it to their attention and were told they could not address the issue cause it was busy BS !!!!! We were told car had been inspected and filled with gas which was a lie. Be sure you document and photograph everything before leaving the site !! read more

This was hands-down one of the worst rental experiences I've ever had. First, the pickup location was not at the Phoenix airport as clearly advertised online. We had to arrange separate transportation just to get to their off-site location--completely unacceptable for anyone flying in expecting airport pickup. Second, the vehicle we reserved--a Hyundai Santa Fe--was not available. We were given a "similar" vehicle, but it was significantly smaller and did not accommodate our luggage as expected. We had to put our bags in the back seat, making the ride cramped and uncomfortable for passengers. To top it off, the car was visibly dirty inside and out when we picked it up. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned or inspected between renters, which raises serious concerns about the company's maintenance standards. read more

Never, ever rent from them. In Phoenix it's not even in the rental car building. You need to wait at the rental car building for another shuttle that come once every 30 minutes if you are lucky. I waited 30 minutes for the shuttle and finally paid to take a taxi. From there it took another hour to rent the car. You must sign in on a clipboard, then sign in online, then sign in with a confirmation number that they give you on a sticky note. Absolutely an awful experience. Took me almost 2 hours to get my prepaid rental car. They also had 2 identical reservation for me and are attempting to charge me for both. Worse decision of my lfe. read more

HORRIBLE!! Should be renamed because there is nothing easy about this place. Their website should indicate that you should not be in a hurry to get through their process. This place is beyond horrible! Had to go to the rental car place at Sky Harbor. From there I was supposed to take a shuttle. Got tired of waiting for the shuttle and got an Uber. When I got there it was a nightmare! One person at the counter and it took them at least 15 minutes to process one customer. There ended up being at least 25 people waiting. I ended going back to the rental car place at the airport. Went straight to a Hertz customer service representative and was in a car within minutes. DO NOT GO TO EASIRENT IN PHOENIX! STAY AWAY! Predatory and Unsafe. This was the worst rental experience of my life. The office is located in a dangerous area where I felt completely unsafe. Even though my credit card provides full insurance coverage, the staff used aggressive tactics to force me into buying their expensive redundant insurance. I went the first I had an excellent customer service experience. Went back a few months later prepaid for the same vehicle (a traverse a 8 seater)to be picked up on a Friday at 4 pm. My boyfriend and I got there at 3 pm, got called up at almost 5 pm. The lady who called me up was busy running around like crazy because the two guys at the counter were just sitting there doing nothing but on his phone and the other one being rude to the customers he was with. She looked up my request and told me " oh we don't have anything to fulfill your request ". Mind you I prepaid $244.08 not one phone days prior or earlier in the day to inform me they didn't have a vehicle to accommodate my request. I asked if the had this reservation and knew they couldn't accommodate it why was i not informed. She did not have a response. She instead said they had an equinox. A vehicle that would not fit my family of 7 for our trip. I still was opened to taking that car. When my boyfriend, the lady, and myself went to see the car it was dirty on the outside which I can deal with, but what I couldn't deal with was the large crack in the windshield. From the lower passenger side to the top driver side. I refused the equinox. We went back to the office and the lady said they can provide me a full refund. Months of calling not getting any response from them I called and disputed the charge. They told my bank I never showed up and and cancelled without 24 hour notice. My bank sided with them because they wouldn't provide video of the day, and they showed that I picked up a vehicle. They canceled my reservation and left me stranded. When I booked through expedia I put in Phoenix airport. I didn't realize it wasn't on site. I had put my arrival time as pick up. Once I got my bags I realized I had to take the sky train to the car rental center, then go down and wait for a pickup. I waited over half an hour and it was another 10 min drive to the rental. By the time I got there they canceled my reservation completely and said there was nothing they could do for me. I was about 1.5 hours later than i reserved, but half of that time was due to the inconvenience of their location and the slowness of their shuttle service. Considering they are advertised at being at an airport they really should really have a better grace period considering flights commonly get delayed and their pickup is slow! This is horrible service and policy. read more

Good- The staff was friendly and the rental car was nice. Bad- 1. It cannot be picked up from the airport. 2. You have to take the skytrain and stop at the last stop only to get off and walk a while to the area where the shuttle picks you up. 3. The instructions concerning where to go to wait for the shuttle should be more detailed. 4. The shuttle only runs every 30 minutes. 5. The shuttle takes you to the rental car center where they are understaffed. 6. Two people were at the counter checking people in, one person was outside inspecting vehicles, and one other person was trying to clean all of the cars before they could rent them out again. There were several people standing outside in the heat waiting for vehicles. We were there an hour and my husband took the car before it was cleaned or we may have been there 2 hours. This is not at the airport! I rented through CheapOair not realizing that this car rental company is located a ways away from the airport. The car we were given was dirty, the steering wheel makes strange noises, the passenger window power button is broken, the key battery is low so getting it to lock is difficult and the wiper fluid was all out. If I could give this business zero stars I would. Seriously the WORST experience I have ever had with renting a car. The lady Brittany at the front counter was the RUDEST person I have ever encountered and should never be allowed to interact with customers. I ended up telling her to cancel my reservation because their service and attitude is ridiculous. 4 other parties behind me did the same, and we all went back to the airport to rent a vehicle from a real company. Besides her being so damn rude, the company still is very poorly ran. The company does not open until 7am, but it allows you to reserve to "pick up" your car 24 hours. I selected to pick up my car at 6:30am, was waiting at the airport for the "shuttle" for 30 minutes before finding out the business did not even open until 7am. I ended up having to uber to the site, which is NOT "onsite" at the airport like it states when renting. My recommendation is to spend the extra money and not rent with this company. read more

This is my third time to rent a car from Easirent. If you are flexible on dates, they have the best rates for some very comfortable cars. Just beware that their best rates may not be for every day you want, and if you try to extend, you may find the price doubled or tripled. I have enjoyed every card that I've rented from them, especially because I've been able to get some very low rates and saved a lot of money compared to your mainstream rental car agencies. Their offices are not going to be the nicest, and when they are busy, customer service may not be the best. Let's see answering the phone would be my first suggestion! Corp office couldn't even get in touch with them to resolve an issue we were having with our rental! The rental car itself wasn't in greatest shape. The alignment was so off the car would strongly pull to the left if you let go of steering wheel for split second. Then there was weird sound coming from front end of car when stopping or turning - like the axle was about to break. We called and called to try and get a replacement no one answers the phone. Hats off to the girl with the tattoo above her right eye brow and all the hickies.... I'm amazed you still have a job. Yeah so don't rent from this place! I waited at the airport for the shuttle from an early morning flight longer than 30 minutes in the heat. The shuttle driver was not friendly and did not open the shuttle door. Another male customer assisted with loading the bags. Arrived to the location of Easirent. The inside of the place was not clean. There were 3 people at the front desk, but only 1 was helping customers to which the 1 helping was irritated. After giving my ID I didn't realize I would be charged an "out of state" fee for my CA driver's license although I was staying in AZ. They make you walk around the vehicle and take your own video for damages. The cars were not cleaned as there was ashes in the front driver side dash/ window, you couldn't see out of the front windwindows, the tire pressure was not checked prior to re-renting the vehicle. Upon returning the vehicle I was told the tire pressure sensor was off because of the heat however 1. I have rented cars from other companies and never have i ever had to put air in rental car tires and 2. I had went to a tire shop for air and heat and tire pressure sensor was not an issue as it was checked and the tires were all brought to car regulation. Also, upon returning the vehicle I inquired about the $20 a day out of state charge and the young lady said she would make a note of it and somwone would contact me, and to drive the car into the garage. I again tried to give them heads up on some of the car issues needing to be addressed and was brushed off. I will not be renting from this company again. Very horrible experience. read more

DO NOT RENT FROM HERE!!! the hidden fees will drown your pocketbook. What you thought was a good deal will end up costing you $500+. Let me list the hidden fees for you outside of what you paid the 3rd party app. All these fees are per day: Additional rental fee Energy/Pickup Surchage $7.50 Location Surcharge $2.05 Vehicle License Fee $1.99 Airport Concession Fee $9.55 CDW per day $107.96 ACF per day $7.56 My experience was after they charge you a $250 deposit (probably will not get back), you will then wait an additional 45 minutes for your car. My car was a newer Nissan Rogue (15,000 miles) had 4 flat tires and service engine soon flashing the whole entire rental. I immediately contacted their office to report that the vehicle did not appear to be in safe driving condition. Unfortunately, the situation escalated. The vibration intensified, the wheels began shaking severely, and a loud rattling noise could be heard from within the vehicle. It felt as though the car was falling apart while in motion. Classic scam, hidden fees, entrapment, avoid at all costs. Rented through a 3rd party app, I don't recall choosing Easirent, I must have picked the mystery cheap option by accident, would never do so on purpose. Upon arrival at the rental center after the sky train ride, you have to follow outside signs past all the counters, down stairs to a shuttle pickup on the lower level, where the shuttle theoretically comes around every 15 minutes. Just as we arrived, another customer gave up waiting and left. Taking a train to a shuttle pickup already had the alarm bells going off. Shuttle showed up eventually. Was a 10-15 minute ride. We are by now like 45-60 minutes along from when we got off the plane. Arrived at a somewhat seedy looking mixed-use storefront in a light industrial area, with a few cars in front and many more inside a windowed warehouse area behind. When you walk in, you have to put your name down on a clipboard and they will get to you eventually. We were clued in to the fees and charges by the guy before us. He made his reservation and paid in full six months ago, and now they're saying a "new" company policy requires additional charges be assessed? Retroactively? Yes. He was livid. Rightfully so. Nonrefundable charge for "glass and tire protection", no way to opt out. Maximum 150 miles per day, but you are welcome to purchase unlimited miles. Yay. And you thought you had paid for everything up front, just come in and grab keys, right? Wrong. They can't tell you how much the tires/glass and unlimited mileage costs are until they "build your profile" by taking all your personal info and car insurance info. Not the same from person to person. Nice. No flight back out of Phoenix booked yet? $500 deposit. Local resident? $500 deposit. Flight out more than seven days away? $500 deposit. I suspect every iteration of your reality somehow triggers the $500 deposit. While listening to all of this I was ready to cancel the reservation and shuttle back to the airport rental counters, but to my dismay discovered that their reservations needed to be canceled at least 2 hours prior to pickup, or else no refund. So we're already sunk into this 1-week rental for $550, and at this point it is less painful to let them scam you than cancel and cut your losses. We escaped the unlimited mileage thing because our stay was local, but ended up taking a hit of around $150 for the tires/glass fee. Now we are at $700 (+$500), way more than any reputable car rental firm would charge. One woman there before us literally had no way to provide the $500 surprise deposit, considering she had also prebooked and had every reason to believe everything was paid for. Unable to pay it, she had no option but to cancel (forfeiting all the money spent on the reservation) and call a friend to come pick her up. Straight up theft. After seeing how all that went, I made sure to take good video and photos of the car, with the building in the background, before leaving the lot, and did the same upon return, catching a timestamp on video as well. Much to my surprise, we did get the entire $500 deposit back without incident, but other reviews have made it clear that is not always true. Maybe they saw us making those records, lol. Also, the car was older, as far as rental cars go, with ~24,000 miles on it. It was... tidy... but not exactly "clean". Stained seats. Fingerprints. Still, to be fair, no actual operating issues with the car. This company sets you up with expectations that everything is handled and then has you captive and fleeces you with hidden charges, it all reeks of scam town. Lesson learned is that I am done using third party services to reserve flights and cars. Never again, 3rd party app, and never again, Easirent. read more

This was not "easy" at all. First of all, the rental center to actually get the car is 3 processes. Take the Sky Train to the airport car rental center, then walk to the PHX rental garage area, then wait for a shuttle (there is only 1) to pick you up and take you on a 6 min drive out of the airport. The wait for the car for me took 1.5 hours, which was also very unexpected. Then I was told, even though, I chose the collision insurance, that wasn't enough, because they require full coverage on the car, with added $200 to my rental. Lastly, from the time I dropped off my car, waited for help, took the shuttle back to the airport, and got to the check in at the airport was 1 hour and 10 minutes and they were not that busy. Some of the positives. The car was nice, the shuttle driver very friendly and the people at the rental counter were doing their best to be polite and handle the many unhappy customers. In all, between the added insurance and time it took to go through their lengthy process I spent about $150 more than I would have if I went through a more, well known car rental place. The car rental itself was about $100 cheaper than everyone else, but so not worth it. With more transparency on everything it could get better, because the customer would be more aware of it all. I will not use them again. Cheaper still is not always better. read more
