Rented a 15 passenger van for Saturday and everything went smooth! I booked the reservation online and it was super easy. This location was the only location with this size of a van so we drove on over from the east valley to pick it up. It was a little confusing when we arrived to the lot but after receiving some direction from the attendant we were able to pull over and head inside. Once inside, the manager helped us out and he was very friendly! We were in and out of there in about 20 minutes and told to head downstairs. There was another employee waiting for us there and she walked us over to the vehicle and watched as we inspected the car and took pictures. The van was big, clean, spacious, and comfy. It ran smooth and we had plenty of room. Overall we had a great experience from start to end! This location is open 24/7.

Five stars for customer service...BUT 2 FOR VEHICLE CLEANLINESS! OH MY!!! Entering the first rental it was an Audi...nice vehicle but it smelt like burgers and onions. I was kindly placed into another vehicle of the same price...a BMW. From the outside it looked good and even the inside until the AC was turned on. A sour smell hit me like a ton of bricks. Had to roll windows down. I told the exit lady and she suggested I get a new vehicle. I told her it was ok and that this is a replacement. She smiled and said Okay. I then drove to white castles for a burger or many, and when the seat went back it revealed crumbs and a left over bag of opened Fritos! Ugh!!! Not a good way to start the day in Arizona.

Put Profits Over Safety? Never Again -- Avoid Enterprise Like the Plague If you're renting a car from the airport, you have plenty of options--and I strongly urge you to choose any company but Enterprise. This experience was not just frustrating--it was infuriating, insulting, and downright dangerous. Enterprise has proven they prioritize profit over customer safety, and I will never give them another dime. I picked up a vehicle from a local Enterprise location just before closing. Almost immediately, I noticed a major issue: the telescoping steering wheel was stuck fully extended. In order to drive safely, I had to sit so far back it felt like I was in the back seat. Completely unacceptable. This isn't just inconvenient--it's a safety hazard. I called Enterprise Roadside Assistance, and they agreed. They opened a ticket and arranged for me to pick up a replacement vehicle of the exact same class at the airport location--the only one still open. I drove over 30 miles out of my way, expecting the issue to be resolved. At first, I was met by Nathan, who was friendly and assured me they would take care of it. He could not have been more wrong. Inside was Evan, who clearly had no interest in customer service or honoring what I was promised. He handed me keys to a Nissan Altima and told me, "This is all we have, make do." Excuse me? Make do with a lower class vehicle after I drove 30 miles to fix a safety issue you caused? I asked for a manager. Evan told me, smugly, "I'm the highest person here, everyone else went home." Then, over the radio, I overheard staff saying they weren't trading out my class of car--they'd just bring something smaller. I was right there, hearing them outright dismiss my safety concerns and decide I wasn't worth the time or inventory. I pulled up Enterprise's own website while standing there and, guess what? Multiple full-size SUVs--the exact class I rented--were available for immediate pickup at that same airport location. When I confronted them with this fact, they brushed it off. They didn't care. Why? Because renting that SUV to someone else at a higher price was more profitable than honoring their commitment and keeping a customer safe. Eventually, another so-called "manager" named Devin brought up a smaller suv vehicle. When I showed him the proof on their own website, he still denied it, lied to my face, and stood firm on not honoring the promised exchange. I told them to give me back the damaged vehicle--I'll risk driving it back tomorrow, and I'll deal with this through corporate and beyond. Shame on Enterprise. Shame on their staff. Shame on their policies. Safety is non-negotiable, and they failed. Spectacularly. Again: when you're at the airport looking for a rental car, you have a lot of options. Don't choose the company that lies, dismisses you, and treats you like a problem just for expecting basic safety and respect. Enterprise is not worth the risk. Updated to responded to Michelle: Michelle, thank you for the automated, corporate-speak response that completely sidesteps every serious issue I raised. Rest assured, I've already taken steps far beyond a generic contact form. I've reached out directly to your Regional Vice President and am currently awaiting a response--because what happened was not just a "customer service issue," it was a blatant disregard for safety, integrity, and basic professionalism. At this point, I'm not interested in being funneled into another dead-end channel designed to pacify upset customers without delivering real accountability. What I expect now is clear and direct action: that the individuals involved in this situation be held fully accountable for their behavior and decisions, and that someone in a position of actual authority respond appropriately. This was not just an inconvenience--it was a failure on every level, and I'm not going to let it be brushed under the rug.

I've used a number of car rental agencies. Enterprise is amazing. Just had a fabulous experience at the Phoenix airport for pick up of vehicle and just as lovely in Thatcher for the drop off. Lovely car. Very happy, will do again.

Most recently, I rented a car for a week and after taking the train to the rental car center, I was able to skip the desk and head straight to the Emerald Aisle to pick any available car. I would highly recommend setting up an account with National and taking advantage of this.... being able to skip a line at the counter is a blessing. In any event, we went to the aisle, picked out our car and were off after a brief stop at the gate to check everything. Return was also quick and painless. Josh did a thorough inspection of the car, which we returned with a full tank and in pristine shape, and we were on our way in no time. It's amazing how frictionless the experience can be, as opposed to how awful other companies (I'm looking at you Hertz) can make it. I highly recommend National.

I'm a gold member and really don't see any perks to it…read more Not even a courtesy fee waived for being 45 mins late on dropping my car off which is fine. They do add an additional 29 dollars to your total rental. Also it's 18 bucks to simply rent from the airport. You can check in on the app and it will direct you to your vehicle. They have a directory which will clarify which area to pick a car. Honestly they were all the same whether gold or not. You pick a car and drive out. Upon exit they ask for your driver license and give you your rental contract. Dropping off was easy as well they simply instruct you to leave the keys and a receipt will be emailed. Don't forget to take a pic of mileage and gas just in case. Car was clean and decline the fuel through the app it's much cheaper at gas stations.

I spent 2 hours making sure my husband didn't have to spend a night in Arizona due to communication issues. If your first timer on car rental don't use them! We were first timers and we were stressed! During this experience I was able to get Experian on the phone immediately and tried to help me even though I wasn't renting with them! Just take that into consideration when choosing who to rent with!
