    I had the BEST experience dealing with Mike Herman & Bryan Manson. The quality of service from start to finish was amazing!! They made the whole process smooth, fast and easy. I will go to the and recommend their company. The selection of car we got was awesome too! Thanks guys for making such a good experience for your cust

    NOTE: The transaction date that they put the charge through was May 20th for gas on a car that wasn't returned until the following day.

Eric, a veteran like myself was amazing to deal with. Very thorough and professional checking out the car for me. Dropping off the car was just as pleasant working with Justin. Again very helpful and professional and made returning the car super easy. Only thing was the car had a light odor and looking at the service sticker it appears the vehicle was 12k miles over the recommended oil change mileage-- and the car sure drove like it. Let the staff know and they were going to look at this. Stellar customer service, just need a little extra attention to the vehicles. Looking forward to going back soon.

And I leased a car from here for a yearly Disneyland and had the best customer…read moreservice , my car gave out and assumed me would get the same customer service Assistant manager Brandon assisted us and gave us a around around with documents that we provided 1 week before .. then all our paper work went through and proceed to tell my husband he will upgrade him to a complementary upgrade cause of the hassle but continued to charge us full price . We delivered the vehicle back with full gas and he ignored us and said we wanted that which he upgraded us on us. Plus he told us the guy that helped us was fried because he was skipping steps.. how is this fair and I personally think he is low key racist he didn't wanna help us we work hard at a hospital medical lab technicals and at the casino why be making us struggle more brandon .. worst experience

    Late review... First…read moretime Silvercar user in Phoenix. This has got to be the easiest and quickest I've gotten a rental. From Sky Harbor, a quick shuttle ride to the Silvercar lot. Someone comes out and greets you, gets you set up. Pull up the app, scan the bar code and off you go. May have taken 10 minutes tops from the shuttle to on the road in an A4. Best experience I've had at a rental agency. All paperwork completed on the app beforehand saves so much time. Definitely not the last time I'll be using Silvercar, either in Phoenix or other cities with availability.

We decided to ask the Silvercar concierge if they had availability for a Q5 at that time. The reply was very prompt and they had a Q5 at that time. We headed to the Blue Sky Shuttle from terminal 4 which takes you to the Silvercar parking location. We had to scan the code on the Audi and it unlocked by itself. No lines, no counters! The staff were all very nice and courteous, they helped us with our luggage and off we went! The car was a clean and new Q5 with all the bells and whistles. It is an excellent car to take for road trips. The return was again no hassle and great. All in all it was a great experience costing less than what we would've paid for a fully loaded luxury car at another company. If I come to Phoenix again or another city that has Silvercar, I'll definitely use them!

    Cut and pasted below, a letter sent to Hertz management that articulates, in detail, my complaint…read more Referencing the above noted Hertz reservation # and associated rental, please be informed of the following. On June 5, 2023 I made a reservation thru Priceline for a Hertz car rental (dealer's choice) for the Scottsdale, AZ location. Upon arriving at the Scottsdale location I was informed that no cars were presently available and I was directed to the Gilbert, AZ location as it seemed they had cars to rent. I arrived at the Gilbert, AZ location at approximately 10 am. Between that time and approximately noon I waited in line as there was but one female employee and she was tasked with servicing five or six renters in front of me. Though my original reservation reflected a weekly rate of ~$170 I was informed that she could not honor the rate and the best she could offer was ~$200 per week. Having spent the better part of two hours sitting on my hands I elected to accept the higher rate. As I was leaving I asked her if I should bring the vehicle back to her location or the Scottsdale location. She replied "any local location in the greater Phoenix area would be fine". Today, Friday June 8, 2023 I returned the vehicle. In light of the unpleasant wait times I encountered previously I elected to return to the Apache Road, Mesa AZ location - approximately five or ten minutes drive from both the Scottsdale and Gilbert Hertz outlets. Within the past hour I received an email receipt (attached) cataloging two day charges that were within $10 of the initial weekly rate I'd been quoted by Hertz / Priceline, but a line item charge of ~$200 for (Inter city fee). Here, I would invite any casual reader of this letter to place themselves in my position - processing mentally the various irritations I encountered. What might your viewpoint of Hertz thusly be? Please be further informed that it is not my intention to merely swallow the outrageous $200 nonsense-tax (inter city fee) that Hertz is attempting to extract from me. Instead, I shall take any and all steps within my legal rights to fight back. These include but shall not be limited to filing grievances with: Ripoff Report Better Business Bureau Arizona State Attorneys General Office Yelp Local TV and print Media I do understand that Hertz invests significant capital in advertising - presumably intended to generate a positive consumer impression of the company. Perhaps those in a position of power within Hertz may do the mental calculus in considering the negative consequences when consumers and other interested Parties are informed of the experiences such as those I've just articulated.

My vehicle was stolen and I needed transportation and they had one ready to go the following morning . I had to get a rental and insurance would only pay 40 dollars a day which Hertz came in at 38 dollars. Perfect . It's a 2019 with only 20,000 miles on it and I love it. Still haven't replaced my car so in the meantime, it's not so bad with this as my temp. I appreciate the staff and I've now had to extend it four times and I haven't heard a word about them needing it back yet . The staff are very accommodating and friendly and I would recommend them to anyone.

I called the day before to let them know I would be picking my car up later than expected. I told them I had to have a car since I would be making a trip to the airport right after and wouldn't' be able to wait an hour or more like previous experiences. The guy told me he would hold a car for me, and he did! As well, he took great care of making sure everything was ok with the car. When I returned the car, the gentleman who checked it out for me, Larry, was so kind, efficient and quick. I had by far the best experience here and it was refreshing after so many problems in different location.

However, when we arrived, we were told the driver needed a credit card in her own name--even though her sister had one available. I asked if I could rent the car myself and add her as a secondary driver, but the employee immediately shut that down without offering any alternatives or trying to help. The interaction felt dismissive and unaccommodating. We ended up going to Enterprise instead, where the process was smooth, hassle-free, and even less expensive. This was my second negative experience at this location, and unfortunately, it will be my last. I won't be returning and will likely avoid renting from Hertz in the future.
