Firstly, using this company adds at minimum an hour to your travel plans. The rental lot is NOT on airport grounds and you have to catch a shuttle, which there was only one running so we sat in the heat for at least 30 minutes. When we finally got to the place one person was running the counter while the line of people was out the door. When I finally got my keys, they didnt match the car they told me to take. I had to go back in get the correct ones. I finally get loaded and start the car to find that 3 of the 4 low tire pressure sensors were alarming. I went back in again and they told me they were broken. They reluctantly gave me a diifferent car. When i finally got to my destination, I noticed there is major damage to the passenger side. I better not be charged for this. Do not use this company! Pay the extra money and go with a known car rental company. read more

Horrible customer service. The "free" shuttle never came and I sat in 105-degree weather for an hour. Paid for a Lyft from the airport. Then waited another 75 minutes because they did not have a car available. No communication from the front desk, and unclear directions. Car smells like smoke and part of the side mirror was broken off. The cheap price is NOT WORTH THE SAVINGS. I will never return. read more

The name of the company is a misnomer, at least in Phoenix. It is hard to actually reach the place where the cars are located. You go to the Rental Car Center on the SkyTrain from the terminal, go outside, walk down to the Visitor's Parking area and then wait for a shuttle. We waited about half an hour there. Then you ride several miles to the rental locatioin. When you get your rental agreement, you cannot waive the insurance, unless you have brought a written copy of your coverage from your regular car insurance. So, an extra charge is incurred. Yes, this fact is included in the fine print as part of the rental agreement. We didn't notice it. Apparently, this is corporate policy. The actual people we dealt with were pleasant and professional. We were offered water in the shuttle and the woman working the desk was competent. BUT I would not recommend this company in Phoenix. We rented the car over Labor Day weekend 2026 read more

Everything from start to finish. There was no signage at the rent car area at Sky Harbor Phoenix directing travelers to the rental agency which as it turns out was off-site. To to their location they were asked for endless amounts of identification, our boarding pass, and charged us for an additional driver which is something I've never had happen before.. Subsequently, we had a cab driver take us from the airport to the rental agency and return us to the airport. When we returned the car we were unable to pull into the garage return area because there was another car in front of us with no driver. The attendant asked us to sign return papers and then told us to just leave the key on the dash, which we did. Then the cab driver took us back to the airport. They have since said they cannot find the key which we left with the car. When we departed, they repeatedly called us and said that their staff couldn't find the key. We checked all of our pocessions - we didn't have the key. They told us they were going to charge us for the key. Worst car rental experience ever. And I contested the $300 key charges with my credit card. I am a frequent traveler and I have never had anything like this happen before. Online their are reviews saying that this company tries to charge people for things they aren't responsible for. CEO and founder of Easirent Car Rental is Paul Hanley you should be ashamed! read more

Absolutely the best place to rent a car. I have been here over 75 times and they are always the best. Friendly, affordable, and quick. They are upgrading as well to make it faster and easier. Keep up the great work. The 3 people in the picture are the best. read more

If all you're looking for is a chaep rental, outstanding!! If you want a car that smells weed, this is also your spot. It's not at the airport, but there is a shuttle that will take you back to the airport. The car was dirty but efficiant. They wanted me to sign before inspecting the car. Upon inpection found a chip in the windshield, who knows if they would have charged me if I hadn't pointed it out. At least my Lyft driver was nice. read more

This place is beyond hood and straight up rachet. Honestly, stay away I wish I could give 0 stars. Van driver from the airport was nice but we had to wait about 15 minutes both ways for the shuttle. Pickup and return was really a cluster f. There are 2 desks and it takes like 30 minutes+ to get your car even when pre registering as the shuttle suggests. They want your car insurance policy info but I don't know why. Car had 0 windshield fluid in a dusty city which I found odd and honestly poor maintenance but I'm not paying out of my pocket for something that should be regularly checked. read more

The worst car rental company ever. Taking advantage of people who don't understand what they are getting in to and nickel and diming them to death. You will pay more here over. The card are terrible and old with no features and very high mileage. They give you an air freshener when the car stinks of cigarettes. Do not come here. Stay away. read more

We (on accident) booked through this car rental agency via Priceline.. never ever again! Waited almost an hour in the 100 degree heat at a little area almost off property from the airport... the airport janitor had to show us how to get to the right area. The vehicle we got wasn't the requested one and what was a decent day of travel turned into almost 2.5 hours of car rental problems. No thank you., the staff was very nice but the agency is a trainwreck. read more

STAY AWAY FROM RENTAL. By the far the worst rental company. They're not inside the airport and they said shuttle comes every 20-30min. I was waiting for an hr + in the heat. I called them no one picked up and shuttle never came to the designated pick up area. After waiting for over an hr the shuttle comes. I go to pick up the car and I was told that "No we don't take Expedia Insurance" I said I'm also covered under my insurance and my credit card insurance but they made me pay very expensive insurance. I just wouldn't recommend them to anybody. Please stay away. They advertise cheap car rental on Priceline, but you end up paying a lot on taxes and force you to buy their own insurance. read more

They were cheap so we went with them. They are off-site from the airport and only run one shuttle every 30 mins. The people working were really just "doing their job" and not even friendly like a customer service position should be. No smiles, no greeting us. They handed us the key and that was it. It was up to you to go outside and locate the vehicle. Upon returning a sign said "please wait for attendant" and several were standing around but nobody greeted or approached. Us and another vehicle just parked the vehicles and went to put the keys in the drop box, upon which an employee chased us down asking where the keys were. Go with someone at the airport. These guys ARE cheaper, but make you feel neglected like you are an inconvenience to them. read more

Shuttle service is way to far apart, They try to scam you to buy insurance over and over again by having ridiculous insurance proof requirements. Then hit you hard for windshield coverage. No morning shuttle to airport until 7am had to uber to catch our flight. Employees act like con artists and scammers working you over for their commissions they're trying to earn. Car was dented up, needed repairs. Other than that they were amazing.....#NEVERAGAINEVER read more

I would not rent from this company again. The car was dirty, like they just rinsed it off after a dust storm, the windshield you could not see through to drive safely. The agent I dealt with on the day of rental was nice, I will give her that, but everything else was less than normal standard. They cancelled my car rental due to our flight being delayed, they did not accept my AAA card, the car/windshield was dirty, the car over heated with just over 20,000 miles on it, upon return of the car after 2 calls to the company about missing prescription sunglasses, they state no one has turned them in. Though the price was 1/2 what I would have paid for Dollar or Avis, it is not worth the headache. read more

Easirent - How dirty the car was upon pick up. - Car Rental Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

I rented a car from their Phoenix Airport location on June 19, around 8:30 PM, returning on June 22nd, around 4:30 PM. When I arrived, late at night to pick up my car, I received the keys to a FILTHY dirty car, smelling of cat urine throughout! I immediately returned to the office, requesting a different vehicle. I was told that there were not any! I then was told, as compensation, NOT to top-off the gas upon returning the vehicle on the 22nd. When I returned the car, the shuttle was leaving and they told me where to park the car and leave the keys inside. I trusted that I would NOT be charged for anything other than the original $112.20 for the 3 days of the car rental. I now have my Chase statement with this charge, along with an additional $29.84. I called and spoke with somebody at your corporate office and they said I returned the car "late"! I did not, in fact I returned it 4 hours early! This was my first time renting from you and I am hoping it will not be my last. Please credit my original form of payment for this $29.84 read more

TOTAL SCAM! DO NOT RENT HERE-YOU WILL REGRET IT! My sister rented a car here for our family vacation. The check engine light came on numerous times during our trip and the engine was making loud roaring noises. We luckily made it back home. During our return, an employee inspected the outside, said everything looked good, and she thought she was done with them. WRONG! A month later, they claimed there was damage and not only filed a claim with the insurance company, but they're also trying to make my sister pay an additional $600, which is never going to happen. We WILL be filing a report with the AZ attorney general. This "company" needs to be shut down. Disgusting. read more

The easiest way to describe this place... the spirit airlines of car rentals. It's far from the airport, the customer service is.... Well nonexistent. I mentioned the car was dirty when I got it and the windows were especially dirty. She looked at my dead in the eyes and said. "Ok thank you" read more

Super friendly workers. They gave us an upgrade for free! We got a beautiful new Nissan Rogue that was very clean and a great ride. Shuttle drivers were super helpful and kind. Return was quick and easy. The ONLY thing I didn't like was finding the way to the shuttle at the airport. It's not clearly marked and we didn't know where to go which was a little frustrating. But I think that's more of a problem with the airport and not having adequate signage. read more

This is the worst car rental option anyone can choose. Unfortunately, if you're using a 3rd party app, like Priceline, you'll find yourself stuck with a spot like this while not knowing what you're getting into. Unfortunately. First, they advertise as being close to the airport, which they are not. There are legit airport location rental companies like Hertz right there. These guys are different than that. Miles different. It's so lame that you have to either walk a good length to an airport shuttle station for a ride to this place. And that ride comes sparsely. In 110 degree heat, you're waiting, waiting, waiting. If you choose instead one of the leech gypsy cabbies, they will grossly overprice you. It's lose/lose. Once you're there, the staff will lethargically sleepwalk through the whole process of you renting one of their substandard cars. The guy waiting on me literally got up and walked off, never to return, before even taking my information. Oh my God. Then, a woman named Jo took over and boy did she deliver. She was smart and efficient and patient and clearly deserves a better job. I had been there about a half hour already, wasting my time, but when she was freed up, I was in and out. The car was dirty and dented and generally unkept. I don't know how or why they stay in business. Because this business is terrible. Not to mention horribly overpriced with various ways to limit you (like, if you want to bring drop off their lousy car a day early, you're stuck with the original charge. Etc.) Please don't use this business. read more

I agree with the other one star reviews. I booked this rental through a third party, and it clearly stated that the car rental location was onsite at the airport. When I arrived, I had to navigate on my own just to find a shuttle that took me to an offsite location. That already felt misleading and started the experience off poorly. When I finally arrived, I waited over an hour to receive a vehicle. They would not accept my personal auto insurance and insisted on additional coverage. I knowingly agreed to pay one specific quoted amount, but by the end of the transaction, I was charged nearly three times what I had agreed to. During the process, the sales representative added an extra 250 dollars and verbally told me it would be refunded after I returned the car. I hesitated but accepted the vehicle, although I did not feel confident about what she told me. I was not given a printed receipt and was told it would be emailed. When I reviewed the emailed receipt, there was no mention of any pending refund. I contacted corporate, and they confirmed there was no refund noted on the account. I was in town in early December 2025 for a four day conference. On the second day, I drove back to the rental location and spoke with the manager. He acknowledged that the sales representative had not been transparent and submitted a written request for a 250 dollar refund. He told me I could continue using the car for the remainder of my rental. After my trip, I followed up with corporate several times. It took four separate calls, and I was never able to reach the district manager who was supposedly handling my case. Nothing was resolved. I then disputed the charge with my credit card company, but the dispute was denied. I wish they had been upfront from the beginning. I would have gladly returned the car and used another rental company instead. Transparency and clear communication would have made all the difference. read more

Do not be fooled by their low prices. Apparently, I was and regret it. The PHX office is located several miles from the PHX airport. A shuttle comes by the airport hourly (less convenient than an office inside the airport). From there, I was told that since my flight arrived late, I wouldn't be able to rent a car that day. B.S! Then that it would be at a substantially higher rate. Do a careful inspection of the car beforehand. Take pictures of any pre-existing damage, or they will charge you for it even though you weren't responsible. They will also charge you twice for fuel regardless if the tank is empty upon you receiving the vehicle. Then, even if you top the tank off, they will still charge you to refill it. Non-transparent about many things. Dishonest, rude and unprofessional. Stay away from this company. Rent elsewhere even if it costs more. read more

Edited to add: DONT BOOK THIS PLACE. Upon returning our car around 715 this morning (the place opened at 7), the manager wasn't even there so we 1) couldn't get a shuttle back to airport and 2) they told us to video everything including us dropping the key in the box and to make sure we videoed the car turning on and showing that there wasn't a tire light or any other lights showing on the dash. SUPER sketchy and the shuttle driver told us they would try and get us on literally the smallest thing including stuff out of our control like a tail light going out. Terrible business and awful that they actively try and charge customers for extra stuff. There are so many bad things about this place. AGAIN, DO NOT BOOK -- SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE!!!!!!! Really disappointed in this place. To start, we waited almost 2 hours in the lobby before we even got our car. At one point we waited while another party searched their phones for insurance info for 30 min and the clerk didn't ask them to step aside. Once we finally got the car we noticed some exterior damage which isn't that big of a deal, just not ideal. Then when we started driving the car we realized it had such a bad shake. It's make us both nauseous throughout the week it's so bad. Also lots of additional fees if you don't come prepared with insurance info or if you want any kind of coverage for the windshield ($600 for any type of scratch or chip if you don't pay the $15 a day for coverage). Won't come here again. read more

We booked a car rental through Expedia for pick up at the PHX airport at 10:00 p.m. knowing our plane would land around 9:30 p.m. We landed and realized the booking was for a place called Easirent that was 10 minutes off site. When we called them, no one answered and their automated message stated that their shuttle looped from their location to the airport every 30 minutes. What they didn't say was that their location closed at 10:00 p.m. and the shuttle also stopped. They also failed to tell us they have no after hours pick up. We waited for the shuttle 9:45-10:45 p.m., arrived at their location at 11:07 only to find out their location closes AT 10:00 p.m. (the same time they accepted for me to make a booking to pick up my car at). Expedia customer service tried to help with the situation, but Easirent refused to refund us anything and refused to admit they were accepting bookings and taking money from customers at times AFTER or AT closing. Even the NU car rental shuttle driver told me that Easirent regularly strands their customers after 9:00 p.m. Never book with Easirent because they are a scam. If you book through Expedia, try to make sure you do not get the cheaper options because they might route you to Easirent, which will leave you stranded at the airport. read more

DO NOT USE!!! What a nightmare. Booked a car with them through Priceline. Arrived in Phoenix on Saturday August 8. Followed the directions and proceeded to the outside pick up (the do not have an on site office). We, along with another person who was also renting, kept calling and getting no response. A driver from a different car rental company knew the drivers from Easirent and tried to text their drivers for us. No answer. Priceline was no assistance. After two hours in the sweltering Phoenix heat we rented from an onsite company. That company mentioned how horrible Easirent is and that they frequently leave renters stranded. They should not be able to operate at the airport. read more

Don't Use this Company: they don't tell you until at the counter that you will be charged for out of town mileage. I should have read the reviews before I booked, but i was booking the same day. Getting to the shuttle is a huge pain in the a**. And if you're not lucky in your timing, you may be waiting 30 minutes for your shuttle. Then, it's an approx 8 minute drive. Shuttle driver (Dennis) was informative when we got going. Arrived at the office and the check-in process was slow. (Tip: Make sure you have your insurance info and return flight confirmation info handy.). Eighty (80!) minutes after I had deplaned, I had a car, but it was not a standard SUV as I had ordered. Also, it took so long that the shuttle driver (Dennis) had gone back to the airport and returned again. Mind you, I was only 3rd in line when I arrived at the rental office. The car I finally got was nice enough. But, to be clear, this hassle was not worth the $20-$40 I saved for my 2 day trip...not by a long shot! But I didn't know what I was getting into with this rental agency. Now that I do and I can say with 100% certainty that I would never use them again. For those who do, I'd suggest taking an Uber to the rental office as that could likely save you 30+ minutes. read more

Easirent - Not the standard size SUV I had reserved. - Car Rental Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

I have rented many rental cars and this was by far the worst experience I've had. The only up side was a car upgrade bc I had to wait so long in line for the car. 1. There is a reason, actually many reasons why their rates are so cheap. 2. The location is NOT at the Phx Sky Harbor Airport. Even though that is what is advertised on carrentals.com and on their website. 3. The shuttle only loops around every 30 minutes. They say you can reserve it but I couldn't figure out how to do that. 4. I entered all my info into the app like drivers license and insurance and they said it would speed up the process. It did not. 5. There were 8 people ahead of me when I got there and only one person at the computer. He said the other person called out sick. But it seems as I read the other reviews there is always an excuse for being understaffed. Stood in line for an hour and a half. From pick up at the airport to leaving in the car was two hours. 6. No one shows you to the car. The method is point your key fob and hit the panic button. There was blue tape on my car and it had a lot of dirt and water spots on it. 7. Location was in a sketchy neighborhood and run down building 15 minutes from the airport. 8. Return was difficult as where to park it was not clearly marked. read more

So yes it's cheap BUT it is off-site from car rental station. The off-site location is not the best area. The price quoted / that you think you are paying for, does not include insurance and PAY ATTENTION when they ask which insurance you want .. you have to say NO again to insurance. The walk around list - you do not get a copy of checklist AND when you return it, they want you to sign the walk around list without doing a walk around. IF You want cheap go for it - but if you want peace of mind ... maybe not. read more

Go if you want the lowest prices, but know this- if you have to go to the airport after dropping the vehicle off- prepare to wait a while for the shuttle. ALSO, the shuttle doesn't take you to the airport, it drops you off at the rental car area. That's to time consuming, so I've had to call an uber to get me to the airport on time. That's one of the cons of renting with this low cost agency. Another is they rent out vehicles that have dents and damage- not cute. I rented a small suv that had a back light broken, and chalk writing on the window. Good thing I don't embarrass easily. The cars aren't too clean. I've rented with them twice, the first time on purpose, the second time I didn't pay close enough attention on Expedia- I quick clicked on the cheapest option! Anyhow, the first time I rented, the vehicle smelled heavily of marijuana, and the vehicle still has trash in it. The windows looked like it had been washed with dirty water. The serving time I rented, the insides were relatively clean, but once again, had a terrible wash job. Rent here if you want cheap prices and don't mind waiting 30-40 minutes for their shuttle. read more

Rented in Phoenix to drive to Tucson. Prices were the lowest we found, but you have to take an extra shuttle AFTER getting taking the sky train to get there, and our car engine failed 20 miles outside of Phoenix, leaving us stranded on the side of busy highway in the dark just before 10:00pm on the day before Thanksgiving! We managed to get a hold of the employee on duty. She was obviously concerned for us but had no management backup and no resources to call us a cab/uber/etc. to get us back to the office. She was staying late and working alone to assist other people but gave us her personal mobile number and said she'd try to figure something out. We personally arranged a tow-truck pickup for the car in the meantime. The employee was in contact with us and eventually convinced another employee to come with her to drive out to us with a new vehicle. So, WAY after closing time, on a holiday, instead of going home to their own families, these people drove 20 miles to come rescue us. They brought an upgraded vehicle and we finished our journey. So, Jennie (the employee) this is your 5-star review. You are an absolute rockstar and are the sort of person that any company is very lucky to have. You are promotion-material and deserve AT LEAST a raise. You (and your co-worker who came with you) are the reason this isn't a 1-star review. We hope your Thanksgiving was great, you were certainly a shining star in ours. Overall for review purposes: The price is great, but give yourself at least 30-45 minutes of extra travel time allowance and hopefully your car doesn't die! And they do currently employ some outstanding people. read more

Do not rent from this company. They are a complete fraud. I rented a car to go to California for three days. When I got to the location to pick up the vehicle, they told me it would be an additional $200 if I wanted to take the car out of state. I dropped the rental car off when I was done using it and a young man walked around the vehicle to inspect it. About a month later I got a claim that I had damaged the vehicle and they wanted over $2500 from me. I was not aware of any damage and nothing was stated to me about damage when I dropped the vehicle off. I purchased the extra insurance when I rented the vehicle just in case and now they are saying part of the claim was paid for by that insurance company and now they want an additional $600 from me. Never, never, never rent from this company. I am filing a claim with the Attorney General today, the BBB and the FTC. read more

Worst experience ever with this company. Their shuttle to the lot never showed up, and they were extremely difficult to get in touch with. They overbooked and didn't even have a car available the night of our reservation--yet made no effort to inform us. We only discovered the issue while trying to track down their missing shuttle. When we called the next morning as the had suggested, they told us our reservation had been canceled and marked as a no-show. Their solution? Book again. Completely unacceptable. To top it off, instead of trying to assist me with our situation (which was entirely on them), they actually hung up on me during the call.
