We just turned in our GMC lease at Earnhardt. We ended up getting a Buick and had a wonderful experience. Our salesman was Luis Diaz. He was knowledgeable, personable and helped to answer our questions. There was no high pressure...just a pleasant purchase, he took care of all the details and went above and beyond to deliver the car to our home. I highly recommend this dealer and Luis!! read more

Approximately four weeks ago, I took a test drive in a 2020 GMC Sierra 1500. It was a very nice truck, and I was seriously considering purchasing it if the numbers worked for me. I was already pre-approved for financing and shared that information with the dealership upfront. After some initial negotiations, I decided to walk away because they were not valuing my trade-in at the amount I felt it was worth. They had every right to make that decision, and I had every right to decline the offer. The next day, they sent me a revised quote that included an additional $1,000 for my trade-in. Unfortunately, the monthly payment was still higher than I was comfortable with, so I declined the offer. Then, approximately 10 days ago, I received a notification from CarGurus.com that the truck's price had been reduced. I contacted the dealership via text to see if there was still a deal to be made. I never received a response, so I assumed the truck had been sold following the price reduction. Three days ago, I received another CarGurus notification indicating a second price reduction. This time, I called and spoke with Justin, who I believe is a manager. We negotiated by phone and text, and I believed we had reached terms that were acceptable to both parties. I requested that the actual purchase quote be sent to me for review, but it never arrived. The following day, I requested the quote again and received a response stating that it would be "sent over shortly." Once again, I never received it. Yesterday, I was contacted by Tom regarding what I believe was a general inquiry about the same truck. I asked whether the truck was still available, and he confirmed that it was. I explained my previous interactions and concerns via text, and I am still awaiting a response. Despite my sincere interest in the vehicle, the ongoing lack of communication and follow-through has caused me to lose confidence in the buying process and question whether I want to do business with this dealership at all. read more

didn't have a great experience buying my previous car, so I was pretty nervous going into this one. I wasn't even sure I needed a new car, but I was open to it if I found the right deal at the right price. From the start, I worked with Mac, who was awesome. He wasn't pushy at all and didn't make it feel like a sales pitch. Instead, he took the time to understand why I was looking and helped walk me through my options so I could make the best decision for myself. Once I chose the vehicle, I met with Tom for the financial portion. I had a rough trade-in situation, but he and the team genuinely went to bat for me. They worked hard to get my payment and interest where I needed them, and they were able to include GAP coverage and an 8-year extended warranty, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. In the past, I've always felt like dealerships were filled with "vultures" waiting to pounce--but that was absolutely not the case here. Everyone I interacted with at GMC was welcoming, honest, and straightforward. I felt comfortable the entire time. I'm genuinely happy with my experience and very glad I chose to get my vehicle here. read more

I went in to test drive a used Buick they had on the lot. I said I wanted to do a cash deal, but was willing to see what they'd do for a trade on my current vehicle. I had it up for sale with quite a strong response, so wasn't really interested in trading, but the salesman said they'd see what they could offer. The encouraged me to bring it in, and then we're rude when they decided they didn't want it. I'd told them I really wanted to do a cash purchase. The general sales Mgr, Rod Yamamoto, was rude and dismissive to me. Even when I reminded him I wanted to offer cash, he wasn't polite. There are too many places nowadays to buy vehicles to put up with poor attitudes. read more

Extremely disappointed with the service department here. What should have been a straightforward visit turned into a frustrating experience from start to finish. Communication was poor, timelines kept changing, and it felt like customer service was not a priority at all. My husband repeatedly had to follow up with our advisor David just to get updates, and the overall process took far longer than expected. When you bring your vehicle to a dealership, you expect professionalism, transparency, and efficiency -- unfortunately that wasn't the case here. I really hope management takes customer feedback seriously and improves the service experience, because right now it's hard to recommend this service department to anyone. read more

Earnhardt Buick GMC - How they left our back seat when we picked up our vehicle after a week. - Auto Repair Near Me - Mesa, Arizona

5 Stars - Another Outstanding Experience with Earnhardt! This was hands-down one of the best dealership experiences I've ever had. From start to finish, the entire team at Earnhardt went above and beyond to make the process smooth, honest, and actually enjoyable. The sales staff created a zero-pressure environment and made it clear they were there to help, not hustle. I worked with Ben Buehler, who had just joined the dealership a week prior--and you'd never know it. Ben was incredibly friendly, professional, and genuinely cared about making sure everything with my new electric pickup was perfect. He took the time to walk me through every detail and followed up to ensure I was happy. Above and beyond service from someone brand new to the team--seriously impressive! On the finance side, I can't say enough good things. The team was transparent, respectful, and efficient. No games, no sneaky add-ons, and when I said I wasn't interested in any extras, they didn't push. They honored my upfront approach and didn't tack on unnecessary dealer fees or play the usual "last-minute surprise" game. Just straight-up professionalism and integrity--something that's becoming rare in this industry. This is my second truck from the Earnhardt dealership group (first was a RAM 1500), and both times the experience has been stellar. With my new electric truck, they've continued to prove why they've earned my trust and repeat business. Highly recommend Earnhardt to anyone looking for a dealership that values transparency, respect, and great service--from sales to finance and everything in between. read more

I am writing to formally raise a concern regarding the repeated service issues I have experienced with my 2023 GMC Canyon at Earnhardt Buick GMC in Mesa. This is the third time I have brought my truck in over the past two years, and each visit has involved significant delays and poor communication: Radiator hose leak repair - This took nearly 6 weeks to complete. Transmission shifting issue - I waited close to 7 weeks for updates and was told the technician had an emergency and left. The vehicle was returned about 4 weeks later. When I picked it up, it had been left outside for an extended period and was extremely dirty, to the point that visibility through the windshield was difficult. I had to immediately take it to a car wash. Tailgate compartment water leak - I brought the truck in for inspection, and I was told the compartment door needed to be replaced and would be ordered. It has now been approximately 5 weeks with no update. I have called, left messages, and sent three texts to the service advisor with no response. At this point, the lack of communication and repeated delays are not acceptable. I understand that parts and repairs can take time, but the absence of updates and inability to reach anyone is very frustrating. read more

They straight up rob you. Their labor charges are outrageous!!! Paid 3x the part amount for labor. We won't be back!!!

Recently purchased a new Buick Encore GX! The overall transaction from selecting a vehicle, setting up financing to driving the car off the lot, was above and beyond!!! Making a high dollar purchase can be nerve racking. But this team has put together a process that works with an older Veteran that made it so simple. I'm not a rich person, but I have saved over the years. Super job by Earnhardt Buick read more

Worst customer service I've ever experienced. I made an appointment three weeks in advance to have my car temperature gauge and or thermostat checked out because on occasion the temperature gauge wouldn't show no temperature and the air conditioner would not work as well. After talking to a tech they suspected the same as I did it was a thermostat That needed to be replaced. I took the car in the night before my three week appointment and dropped it off. I was given an estimate of $900-$1000. I checked late Saturday afternoon and to see what the progress was and I was told by one check advisor check that was working on my Auto wasn't working that Saturday. I don't know why my tech when I talk to him didn't tell me he wouldn't be in and as a result, I had to rent a car for three days until Monday when could put the thermostat in. I was called Monday afternoon and said that the thermostat they had was damaged and apparently they don't check their parts once they receive them to see if it's what they ordered and if it's the correct item and in good shape. So they had to get another thermostat somewhere else from another dealer. Not until Tuesday morning they decided it was time to put the thermostat in and I was told it's a five hour job so when I went to pay the bill, my bill was over $1200 because the thermostat cost so much I was told to be about $800 labor seven something like that and as a result I had to. One more day to pick it up on Tuesday costing me $292 to rent a car for some of their screw ups. I asked if there was a possibility of a way that since they took them five days to do a one day job that they would give me a little discount to help compensate for having to a car for four days. came to an end. The check got kind of in my face and was telling me he told me this and that and everything and it was not their fault and they can't do and I said to him that I that Customer Service is certainly nothing you guys care about and the customer is last here. He said oh no, we take care of our customer customers. Can help me out because your delays in your problems cost me an extra hundred dollars for Carr rental. We aren't gonna do that so I told them in front of the counter for the you pay your bills and the other people standing around, I said I will come to this dealership ever again and I'm going to let everyone know about my experience. You can find better dealerships everywhere else. In fact, my GMC dealership in Wyoming is absolutely fabulous and they do everything they can to try to keep their customers. And well satisfied. So use them at your own expense. I'm not happy. Also I went to return the rental car, which was about three 4/10 of a mile away and they brought me back to the dealership paid my bill and when I went out, my car had been sitting there running for40 minutes that it took me to return the car talk with tech advisor and be told that I was not gonna be compensated one bit got to pay for the read more

I can't say enough about the service here. Justin (sales), Robbie (service) and Tracy (Finance) were professional, not pushy, and answered all my questions whatever it was. Dan, ronnie and the team here are great. Will always bring my Yukon to them. Fair pricing and solid experience.

If I could give this place a 0 Star I would. They were quick to sell us the car, sign and take our money but something as simple as detailing the car even after the 2nd time we asked and dropped it back off couldn't be done. They sold us on a special paint and interior shield but never treated the car because it was filthy. At this point we are tired of driving back and forth and being without a car so it can just sit and they can give us the run around. Nothing was explained about the car features and there was no care past us signing for it. The key fobs batteries were dying, it's just ridiculous that they were so accommodating to make the sale but handed us a car that wasn't even clean. Something so simple!!!!!! read more

NEVER in the 15 years that I have owned a car have I EVER dealt with such a headache with a company. I bought a BRAND new 2023 Buick encore and 100,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty. My engine blew out 2 hours outside of Reno (in a brand new car) I had to tow my car to Reno and book a hotel AND pay over $2,000 for a rental car because Buick couldn't provide me a loaner vehicle (which is in my warranty). I am now a MONTH without a vehicle I am a nurse and NEED transportation for my job. NO ONE has helped me get into a loaner vehicle and keep suggesting I get a rental car I may or may not be reimbursed for. I cannot afford ANOTHER rental car and nor should I have to. THIS CAR IS BRAND NEW!!!!! WORST costumer service not only at this location but corporate included no one knows ANYTHING and keep handing me off to the next person who also knows nothing. If I could return the car I would. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER BUICK EVER. I am so disappointed in this company as a whole read more

Wow! My experience at this dealership and with Kerry H was absolutely top notch and amazing. Never once felt any pressure. I explained what I wanted, what I was looking for, he found it, explained the details, we talked as if we were friends sitting at his home, closed the deal and away I drove with my new 2022 Sierra! Honestly one of the best experiences I've had in buying a vehicle. No fluff, no bs, just a great experience. Finance department honestly was amazing as well and she made the process very smooth and seamless. Experience was so great, we came back a few days later and got my wife a 22 Terran. Terrible experience again! The last time I was there I stood there while 4 men just stood at the counter talking to one another and refused to acknowledge me. This time we finally got an appointment for warranty work and dropped it off on Monday morning. We had to call several times and would never get an update. Meanwhile we are incurring rental charges. Finally Friday after sending a text and waiting on hold miraculously the vehicle would be ready to be picked up. Not one thing that we dropped it off for was fixed. They said they fixed the window and it wasn't, the wheels weren't sent to be fixed, they claimed to not be able to replicate two of the other things we dropped it off for even though other shops were able to. So they literally had my car a whole week and didn't do anything. It's in the exact same condition as when I dropped it off. Actually worse because the "fixed" window is actually slower. We were charged $300 plus now our rental and NOT one single thing was done. read more

This dealership is sure quick to sell, but very bad customer service especially in Service department. Have waited over 10 weeks for a part under warranty and have yet to get it. No call, no follow-up. Went across the street and bought the $15 part, stopped in to schedule for installation and two service reps, one on a personal call totally ignored me and the other looked and got up and walked away! Do not buy the "Detail" plan, they simply wash your car and bring it out. Jackson's does a far better job on a car wash! Had the oil change done and they did not reset the oil life and when I called, "You can do this yourself rather than drive all the way here". If we handled our customers in this manner, we would be out of business so fast! Most definitely needs customer service training all around. read more

WOW! I called on an AT4 Sierra and spoke to a sales guy (I can't remember but it might have been Larry) on the phone. Superstition / Earnhardt Buick GMC #fail - We had a difficult and unsuccessful car buying experience, sadly it was for my 21-year-old daughter's 1st car purchase. I was suspicious when the sales person asked her to leave the used car after purchase was complete to "run it through the shop". The salesman Tom was quite nice, we were there half a day for paperwork with him and I was willing to trust him - My mistake. Their mistake but we have no car after everything. read more

Do not purchase a vehicle from this dealership. Unethical - scam artists. I just purchase a near $70k truck and they slipped in a hidden "VTR" $200 fee. I spoke with manager Gilbert Morales who was pompous and rude. He even had the audacity to state twice, that his main concern was that the proper forms were signed. He didn't care that a customer who just spent close to $70k was unhappy and felt swindled. He refused to refund this anti-theft insurance scam. Luckily, there are laws in NV to protect the consumer against shady auto dealerships so I'm confident I will be able to fight this and get back my $200 that was stolen. I should also add that they lied about Costco reaching out to me in order to receive a $300 gift card because I'm a member and Costco is currently running a "deal." I wasn't going to write anything about my bad experience from the start, but now with this $200 scam, I must mention how they also failed to install the GPS SD card for the land navigation system. Which forced me to drive all the way back across town to get it installed and setup. I also paid for "as close to limo tint" as they offer, which took 3.5 hours, only to barely even notice they installed tent. Frustrating. Shame on me for not reading the fine print of the contract - shame on them for scamming a measly $200 from a customer who just paid them close to $70k for a 2020 AT4. read more

UNPROFESSIONAL. SHADY. It all makes sense looking at all these previous reviews. I bought a 2018 Chevy Silverado a couple weeks ago and the entire process was so weird to me which later then made sense. I flew in from California to pick up this truck because I am still in the process of moving. Bryan is in finance and was working up my deal. I called Bryan 72 hours before my arrival to see what terms I was going to be given. He never returned my calls. So here I am showing up to the dealership at 7:30pm at night without any idea on what the contract details are. Right when I get to the dealership, they walk me STRAIGHT to the financial office with the truck sight unseen. I finally speak to Bryan and he has the contract all written up with the terms already locked in. I asked why he hasn't returned my calls so we can discuss the numbers before I flew all the way in from Cali. He had no answer. Every time I suggested a small change in the contract, he would respond, "oh that will take awhile, we already have this all typed up. " I finally laugh and ask, "can I at least see the truck first before I sign all this?!" So now I am dealing with Mike (the salesman)... Mike knew nothing about this truck. He said, "I only know about Toyota's, they just sent me over here tonight randomly". Mike kept checking his watch and seemed eager to leave. I said I was sorry for keeping him and he responded, "it's okay, there is just a UFC fight on tonight that I'm trying to get to" So I finally look at the truck, I had to ask to turn it on. The truck is really nice, great looking vehicle. So I continue to sign the contract that I wasn't allowed to negotiate any terms at all. Which I wanted to see what I was getting into 2 days before flying in which Bryan failed to give me a call back. I signed the contract and drove to my friends place. The next day I begin to drive back to California and start messing with the buttons. I turn on the A/C and it REEKS OF SMOKE!!! This vehicle was previously smoked in and the staff failed to tell me. This is a very big deal! I would've never bought this truck knowing that. Mike had no idea which I understand cause he's usually over at Earnhardt Toyota. But come to find out, Tony (the sales manager) knew this whole time! This is Shady! This is something that needs to be brought to a buyers attention. After multiple phone calls back, they sounded so guilty . I asked for $2,000 in return and they counter offered $300. Haha. This is crazy. I called 15 different dealerships and asked if they disclosed that if a vehicle was smoked in. They said "yeah if you care about your reputation, but we usually auction off smoked in vehicles". At this point they sounded very submissive and they knew they were in the wrong. The $300 offer was comical and very disrespectful. Their motto is "no bull", that's hilarious... should say "all bull", I'm very upset and this situation was never solved. So I decided to leave a review for future buyers . Shame on y'all. read more

I was very disappointed in this dealership, Earnhardt Buick GMC Mesa. We were looking for an Encore Gx Essence. Obviously supply is low across the entire car industry, however we did find some 2022 models that we wanted.. I was surprised at the dealership had a new 2021 model so I called to get price. They told me that the lowest they could go was $42k because they are charging a premium. I was shocked because other dealers with 2022 models were much lower. We ended up going to Tucson and buying 2022 with the same exact options for $35k. It's unfortunate that Earnhardt Buick GMC Mesa feels the need to price gouge and take advantage of the consumer. I would recommend not working with this dealership. Sometimes it's worth the drive to work with a business who doesn't take advantage of people especially in a struggling economy. read more

I have bought several GMC vehicles across the country. This dealership is the only GMC I have dealt with that is not willing to work with their customers. I was trying to trade in my wife's vehicle for a new suv that they had in the lot and they offered me 12,000 dollars under what KKB Instant Cash, Ford and another GMC lot offered (But didn't have the color in stock my wife liked). When I asked them to double check that they did not miss key any information on my trade, they told me they were not changing their stance.
