Excellent experience, Period. From the moment I pulled in, to the moment I left. I had an excellent experience. Professionalism, Knowledge, Courtesy etc. I felt as if they went out of their way to assist me. I have always had a philosophy about customer service. The first thing obviously is the quality of the product. After purchasing what I consider to be a quality product, ( hopefully made in the USA ) my hope is that their customer service matches the product. If that is the case, they will have a customer for life. Now back to my experience with this customer service center. I will say this without hesitation that from the time I made the initial phone call to the time that I arrived, everything went as well as one could ask. They explained to me what they could/ would do in detail. They gave me a very accurate time frame for repair. They went the extra mile to find out about the warranty, if it was still valid. This obviously was very important due to the fact that it would have cost me a good amount of money to have it repaired. Well, it was about a week past when the original warranty expired. I was ready to pay in full when he told me that they gave me a small grace period and would still honor the warranty. This clearly is something that they didn't have to do. I will say this, if they deal with everyone in this manner and I don't have a reason to think otherwise, all should feel very confident about using this facility. As for me, when I purchase a quality item like this and more importantly taken care of as I was, they have a customer for life. Can say no more, except Thanks. read more

I don't usually write online reviews, but I usually don't get such excellent service. I had a problem with my Dyson DC41 Animal upright vacuum. I was getting suction out of the wand, but not the base. In fact, it always gave suction from the wand, even when I lowered the handle. I figured the problem was a valve inside the unit. I submitted a question through Yelp a short while ago, on a Sunday evening. I saw that they respond within an hour, but I didn't think this meant they would do this while they were closed. About 15 minutes later, I checked my email and there was a reply from Brad V. He told me that it sounded like there was either a hose blockage or a stick or something preventing it from switching from the wand to the base unit. He also told me to remove the main hose and wand to see if there was anything there, and if it looked all clear to bring it in and they would look it over free of charge. Fortunately, I won't have to take him up on that offer. When I removed the hose, I found a ballpoint pen. Once I removed that the vacuum worked like new. I'm really impressed that I even got a reply, especially on a Sunday evening. I'm not a regular customer; in fact, I only found out about them while searching for repair centers online this evening. So, I'm guessing they provide service like this for everyone. P.S. Dyson's corporate web site had some useful videos that helped me take apart some things on the vacuum cleaner both before and after our email exchange. read more

I'm a little late with this review sorry about that guys. I took my Dyson vacuum to the service center around 5 PM on a Friday night. I had installed most of the parts as I had purchased them in advance at the advice of Dyson Customer Service. The most expensive part was the brush head I was told needed to be replaced by customer service and that wasn't the problem. Carlos at the service center took my vacuum and within 10 minutes he had it up and running perfectly. Apparently it had been the reset switch that was faulty. I had also bought that replacement part in addition to replacing the other switches as well but he used one that he had there. He checked all the replacement parts that I had purchased to make sure that they were operating properly, put them back in the box and return them to me along with my working vacuum. And he did all of this no charge! No charge even though the vacuum was out of warranty by at least eight months! I am so happy!!! I can't say enough good things about the service center and how well I was treated!!! You guys are awesome! Thank you so much! read more

I called Carlos yesterday to explain the problem with my DC25 Animal (out of warranty), and he let me know what might be wrong and said I should bring the unit in. I arrived this morning to a very clean and well-organized storefront, and was met by Dave, who was very professional and attentive. I explained my issue to him, handed over the vacuum, and BAM!! He had it fixed in 5 minutes (bad on/off switch). Then to top it off, he told me there would be no charge for the service since it was a small part and a quick fix. I can't say enough great stuff about my visit. Professional, friendly, and informative, I spoke with Dave about the cordless units, and he explained that I could trade in any Dyson vacuum and receive a 30% discount off of any new unit. I have a 4 year old Dyson that stopped working when someone accidentally tried to vacuum up a pair of ear buds. I didn't think to call Dyson but took it to a repair shop. The repair shop wanted $110.00 to fix it so I took it back and called Dyson. I was hoping my wife had registered for the 5 year warranty but she hadn't. That didn't matter, the Dyson agent registered me on the spot and tried to walk me through getting the vacuum working. When we were unsuccessful he directed me to the repair center on 17 N in Paramus, N.J. I was greeted by Dave who said he'd look at it right away if I did't mind waiting. 3 minutes later Dave returned with good news, he could fix it and it would be covered under the warranty. 5 minutes later a smiling Dave returned with my Vacuum good as new. There is a reason people buy Dyson vacuum cleaners...they are a superior product. But like anything, there can be an occasional problem. So, there is another reason people should buy Dyson vacuum cleaners and that because of their excellent service people at their service centers. I happened to have visited the one in Paramus, NJ this morning and was greeted by one of the friendly staff. After a couple of questions, she ascertained my problem, took it to the back of the service center and returned 10 minutes later to explain the problem (I need to be more diligent in my cleaning of my Dyson), went back to the service room to run the vacuum for 10 minutes just to be sure everthing was in order and then brought it back out to me....in and out in ~20 minutes. Went there to get a price on a repair. I met Carlos and explained the problem. He said he would take a look. He did say that the machine is older and that it is out of warranty. Well he found the clog in the machine and removed it. It worked just like new. I was happy for that, and asked the cost of the repair. Carlos was very polite and professional and stated there was no charge. I was surprised and asked again. He said no really, there was no charge and "Good luck with the machine," Carlos showed that professionalism and customer care and satisfaction is alive and well. His actions ensured me to keep on being a Dyson customer. I love my Dyson's and when I need to replace one in the future, Carlos is who I will see. read more

My dyson vacuum broke the beginning of May and I've had to use my old canister vacuum which is heavy and hard to move around. I love my Dyson and was thrilled that the service center had reopened. I went this morning. There were 2 cars before me and 2 guys working. I felt that they did a very good job with the curbside pickup. I opened my trunk and they took the vacuum. When they returned after fixing my vacuum ( I was thrilled) they handed me a clipboard through the window with a form to sign. I used my own pen. They wore masks the whole time. Daniel came to my car with gloves and mask to take my dyson vacuum for repairs. He comes back out to tell me i can get this back in 15 minutes if I can wait. I drove from New York and that was music to my ears-absolutely I said! He later returned not just to hand me back my vacuum but spent the time to really discuss the machine and answer the several questions I had. Had a problem with my Dyson V10....( under warrenty) Repairman Daniel was exceptional. I watched him fix the unit and replace parts....then clean the entire unit. All in 10 minutes. The Paramus Dyson Service Center located on Route 17 North is fabulous! Both of the technicians, Carlos and David,who serviced my vacuum, were professional,knowledgeable, and very attentive. I was in last week to have my dyson cordless vacuum repaired. The lady in there (and I apologize for not knowing her name) was fabulous. I've had interactions with her previously as well with my other dyson. Her professionalism is always top notch. Always helpful, friendly, and courteous. They had a full house of customers. My wife and I have owned Dyson Vacuums for the past 15 years. Recently we ventured up to the Dyson Service Center in Paramus, NJ and were astonished at the greetings and service we received on our DC33 and DC44 Animal. Within 20 minutes both are units were serviced and the clutch was changed on our DC33. Everything was covered by warranty and we walked out with both our units like brand new. What a find! When the head on my Dyson vacuum stopped turning, I tried You Tube videos to correct it, unsuccessfully. My husband found this location. Went today and we were in/out in less than 10 minutes with a brand new head for our vacuum! It was still under warranty!! I feel like I hit the lottery!!
